Jim Wagstaff did a fantastic job finding the car I wanted. - Helmet
Jim Wagstaff did a fantastic job to find the car that was right for our family. We gave him a make, model and price range and he was able to find that car in 3 days. Took another car for a test drive, then the one we wanted. I walked out of the dealership an hour later with the car I went there to get.

Great customer service - JR
I had an overall great experience. I highly recommend Larry. He was very knowledgeable, honest and made it a pretty painless experience. It took less than 2 hours from the time I walked into the door, to receiving my keys. Hats off to the folks at Weber!
Least Stressful Dealership Experience - Harley30
I traveled over an hour to visit Bommarito Ford on 2 occasions to look at a Ford Expedition. Both times I was greeted immediately and given great service. When financing and discussing warranties, the finance manager explained everything in a way I could understand and was extremely helpful. I have never had a better experience at a car dealer and will definitely be going back to Bommarito Ford when it is time to purchase another vehicle.

Excellent service! No pressure! - JessicaLynn
As a first time car buyer and not knowing much as to where to start, Kyle Brewer made my first time buying a car a very smooth and easy process! I was very pleased with how he handled things and how he didn’t try and push me into buying something that I wasn’t sure about.
Kyle was very knowledgeable about ALL the questions I asked and took his time explaining everything to me. He was very patient with me and I appreciate that so much!! Kyle was able to give me the best deal around as well! I will definitely be back for my future purchases and recommend Kyle to anyone I know looking to buy a car! I love my Ford Fusion SO much!! Thank you so much Kyle for making my first car buying experience a good one and not stressful!
Bob the finance man was also very helpful and throughly explained all the details to me about financing a car for my first time.
Kyle and Bob both even stayed over an hour after closing so I could finish the paperwork to buying my first car!!
I highly recommend visiting Kyle for your car needs!
No wonder why Sunset Ford won the Dealer of the Year Award in Missouri!

Other Ford Dealers in STL - twear24
I have been a lifelong Ford owner and purchased 2 of my vehicles at Marshall Ford. Highly recommend driving an extra 10-15 minutes to another dealership. Terrible management and ownership that if a problem arises, will not take care of the situation or get back to you on a resolution. They were no where close to Blue Book for my trade in; which 2 other local dealerships were above the Blue Book trade in.
Oil change ripoff - Ripped Off
The mechanics who usually work on our cars were on vacation, and I needed an oil change. I had received a sale flier for an oil change from Jack Schmitt Ford, so I thought I would give them a try. I made and appointment and dropped off my car. They later called me and told me they could not change my oil because the oil plug had been replaced too tightly and if they messed it up removing it I would need to replace my oil pan at a cost of around $900. I picked up my vehicle and waited for my trusted mechanics to return from vacation. After they changed my oil, my husband told them what Jack Schmitt said about the plug being in too tight. They said it was not in too tight, that Jack Schmitt was just trying to make more money.
Great dealership to work with for an internet sale. - RacerX
I bought a 2017 Nissan 370Z from Weir Ford in November of 2017 as seen on Cars.com. I called and talked to the salesman who did a complete walk around and sent additional pictures. We discussed price and made arrangements for the sale. I travelled from Oklahoma to the dealership. Michael was nice enough to pick me up from the hotel and bring me to the dealership. The car was as advertised. Very clean and maintained. No surprises. The funds transfer and paperwork went quickly. Once again no surprises. No additional costs were added. All costs were exactly as discussed on the phone or email. The staff at Weir were very friendly and fast. Always a little nervous working from the internet and travelling a long distance to buy a vehicle but Michael and crew made it a good experience.
Excellent staff couldn’t have been more accommodating - The Dains’

Car is great-service was not. - sivier6
We felt the entire experience with Suntrup was awful. They were dishonest and patronizing to women. We won't be returning to Suntrup and let others know it is not a good place.
False Advertising/Buyer Beware - AP2018
After researching the purchase of a Pacifica online, I found the best deals at Holzhauer. I went there, test drove the vehicle and subject to the appraisal of my Durango was ready to purchase that day. I asked if the online price for the vehicle was the price I would be getting and Brendan assured me it was. Fast forward to the official offer and I was given a deal based on the MSRP of the Pacifica, which was $7000 more than what was listed online. I feel like they tried to take advantage of a female who went on her own to buy a car. Little did they know they weren't dealing with an amateur! They even went so far as to tell me they thought they already had someone to purchase my Durango! Needless to say, I left and will not be returning.
Great car buying experience - SJS
After finding what I was looking for online, texted a question and within a day Michael Pundmann answered with an additional picture of what I was interested in. Two days later, with Michael's and Eliot Starr's assistance, I drove my new vehicle home!
OUTSTANDING Sales Team!!! - Jake_H106786
I would like to personally thank and highly recommend Eddie Jones and Malik Adams for providing such a great buying experience! I started off by walking in with a specific F-150 picked out from their online inventory. I was assisted by Eddie, we took a test drive and got the ball rolling. I spoke with both Eddie and Malik on the phone and via text over the next few days. Finished up the deal with Malik. Eddie and Malik were extremely professional, honest, personable and didn’t pressure me in any way! They were easy going, pleasant and genuinely passionate about earning my business. I did a lot of shopping around so they definitely earned it! I was highly impressed with their ability to fairly negotiate and provide a deal that both parties felt good about. 5 Star, outstanding customer service! Thanks guys! -Jake and Kayla Hoffmeister
Chuck Lawless is OUTSTANDING! - Ken K
I went into the dealership to look at a vehicle and was the proud owner in about an hour and a half. Unbelievable from start to finish. Chuck knew it was my day off and made things happen in a hurry. No back and forth frustrating number games. This is the way a vehicle purchase should be! Thank you Chuck and the entire staff. The owners and general manager should be proud of their team.
Good experience - Sunnyvale123
I found the car I was interested in on-line after hours and texted Paul Sturma via the web page early the next morning. He responded immediately and by noon I had the car purchased. He was great to work with.
Great experience buying a new car! - Margie_59

unhappy customer - unhappy customer
My parents purchased a 2017 Pacifica ~30 days ago, and our car-buying experience with Mertz has been rather horrific. I will attempt to explain the most egregious issues. Issue #1) A very misleading extended warranty: I stood at the desk of Kreg (salesman) as he explained the extended warranty options to my parents. According to him, buying an extended warranty through Mertz is "significantly cheaper" because they already cover the major components of the used vehicles they sell, a courtesy this dealership extends to their used car buyers. Sounds great, Kreg! This statement was made after I witnessed my parents tell Kreg they were quoted less than $2000 for a bumper-to-bumper warranty through their credit union. I left the dealership as soon as the paperwork started because I had been there for hours and my newborn was with me. I trusted that my parents were in good hands. I found out about an hour later (because my mother called me, confused) that the dealership had added a $6000 warranty to their loan. I struggle to think of any scenario where that was done in the best interest of my senior parents, Kreg? Issue #2) Brake recall not rectified: We found out 2 weeks after purchasing the vehicle that a brake recall had not been addressed before the vehicle was sold to my parents. Why? Issue #3) An ATV battery had been installed in the vehicle: Approximately 3 weeks after buying the van, the auto start/stop began to malfunction at stoplights, prompting yet another trip to the local Chrysler dealership for inspection (I will spare you the details on previous trips to correct alignment, etc.). During the inspection, the Chrysler service tech pulled an ATV battery out of the back-up battery slot that powers the start/stop function. According to the service tech, operating the vehicle with that battery (which is attached to the alternator) could have caused the entire system to burn up. Want your parents taking 3+ hours trips in this van? Neither do I. This ATV battery thing takes me back to a conversation with Kreg regarding paint on the lift gate that seemed to be a different shade of white than the rest of the vehicle. Had it been repaired and painted? No accidents reported. Upon showing the color discrepancy to Kreg, he emphatically assured us that he knew the previous owner of the vehicle personally, and there was absolutely no way that individual would fail to disclose body damage. So, Kreg, did the super honest previous (single) owner install the ATV battery, or was it your dealership? A phone call to Greg (Sales Manager) did nothing to alleviate our dissatisfaction. As my mother detailed the list of issues they have dealt with thus far, Greg offered her a lot of "Ok's" and not a single apology. He was completely unmoved at best, acting as if he has these conversations regularly...just kept repeating he would "let the service department know." Thanks, Greg. So, if Mertz Ford won't treat my father (a 72 y/o Veteran with an 800+ credit score) with integrity, respect or honesty, or even offer him a simple apology when things go very wrong, do you think you will get it?
Horrible and dishonest dealership!!!! - Horribledealer
Worst dealership I've ever been to. Dishonest, and confrontational. Everyone is just trying to stick their hand in your pocket and get a dollar. Slimy place, stay away!!!!!
dishonest sales representative scott hart.
absolutely the worst dealership ever! scott hart is the sales representative i dealt with, do not deal with him. he will do anything to convince you that he is helping you and that the dealership was in the wrong, not him. and then after the sale is closed he will not honor his word.
***do not do business here.*****
came across country to purchase a $48k truck with just over 2k miles and was lied to about the condition. when i arrived i was told that they would not fix any of the problems and i can pay for my own flight home. after 8 hours at the dealership the manager finally agreed to repair the damages and gave me a slip for a we-owe saying they would mail me the parts. they have given me excuse after excuse, the parts are back ordered, the owner hasnt sent the key fob in. anything to get out of doing what they are supposed to do.
after all of this they told me they could not give me a temporary tag, i would have to get a hotel and stay until the next day if i wanted a tag. (of course they did not offer to pay for that even though the reason they could not provide the tag was the dealerships fault) ended up driving 12 hours with no tags.
do not do business you will regret it!
Flat out lied to me concerning Fords rental policy on recall - Mark
I was sent a letter in June 2018 concerning a airbag recall on my 2006 Ford Fusion. So in September 2018 when I had not heard anything I went to Auffenberg Ford in O fallon Illinois to ask for an estimate of when parts might be available. I went to the parts department, ask the question, the man told me to wait a minute, he came back 60 seconds later and told me that they have not heard anything, they have no idea when parts will be available. I then went to the front desk of the service department and ask about a Rental car which my recall letter says I'm entitle to. They told me that Ford has already exhausted their rental cars they can give out, and its not possible to get a rental car. So I went home, called Fords service number at 1-800-392-3673. Within five minutes I was told that parts will be shipped to the dealership in October, and they gave me a case number for a rental vehicle. They said a rental vehicle is no problem. I would stay as far away from Auffenberg as possible. They keep a straight face while giving you no help at all, and then smile and tell you to have a nice day on your way out the door.
Awesome! - LAYCIELYNNE
