Recently purchased a new car from this dealership and worked with the salesman Ryan Brown and he was incredibly friendly and helpful. He and the other members of the team there were quite helpful and the entire experience was quick and efficient.

MISLEAD. LIED TO. DISCRIMINATION. - Blackdog1996
Drove 3 hours to get a truck I searched for all over Texas, talked about it to the Salesman for a few days and we had everything finalized. I get there and I was pawned off instantly from the lady I was suppose to be meeting and knows everything that me and the guy have worked out. Get a guy that knows NOTHING and now we have to do it ALL OVER. Turns out the salesman I was talking to, was told he didn't even work there. best part? THEY SOLD THE xxxx TRUCKS I DROVE 3 HOURS TO BUY. I've owned all Chevy products for 15 years, not anymore. Me and my brother went there to both get new Silverados, but we were looked at and treated like we couldn't even afford a bowtie emblem. Really? Because how I look and dress? No respect. Someone even asked, are you lost? Cant believe it. Not chevy. But it's okay me and my brother are both going to get new Rams tomorrow. Thanks Chevy!

Promises, promises, promises...... - Unhappy buyer
Purchased a used CPO 2017 Chevy Express van on 2/20/18 paying cash. Window sticker said the vehicle had a remote keyless entry. There was no remote key fob according to the salesperson, Josh. But he said he would get one for me and mail it (we live in AL and bought the van in Dallas). After several ignored emails I sent Josh requesting an update I finally bought a remote fob online and had it programmed (total cost $57.95). I contacted the General Manager on 6/1/18 and the next business day Josh emails me and asks me to send him the receipts for the purchase and I would be reimbursed. I sent those as attachments via email on 6/4 but still 2 months later have no reimbursement. During that time I made two more attempts to contact Josh for an update, but those were ignored as well.
Bottom line : You will be treated well and promised what you want to hear before the sale. Afterwards....don't hold your breath for any promises made and please don't expect to have any response to your attempts to contact them.
Service Nathan Scott - Disappointed
I took my truck in for my routine service and open ticket problems. Nathan Scott called me and stated that this thing Refering to my vehicle is 4000 miles over on oil change and need a filter. I tried to explain that there is an open ticket . He didn’t want to hear it. If anything is wrong with an open ticket Take it back to them. I told him my truck was not over for oil change and that is why is was there... He said oh I did not know that...He never wrote it on the ticket. I was upset that nothing was addressed. My truck was not serviced . That was the main reason it was there. I Told him That was okay do not service and I will pick up my vehicle in a now. I come in he was rude and did not speak.I waited a while on him after I arrived he was very rude and angry. He repeated the statements dropped the pen on the counter. So he didn’t have to touch me. Told me I was going to listen to him I said I’m not and don’t have to... I asked for his Manager and told him he was being prejudice ... I left out going to my truck and he ran outside got up in my face screaming after I walked out... The workers had to get him . He was irate . I feel I was being prejudiced against Being a female . And Bullied . All of this is on video . I will Be filing a formal complaint BBB FCC and General Motors.
Hung up on by Tony. Worst customer service - Jason the buyer.
Called the morning of 3-21-2019 on a 2018 Chevy Silverado I saw on The KBB site the night before. This vehicle had been a loaner and was priced at $29,805. When I called the operator transferred me to Tony. I gave him the stock number and he verified the MSRP but when I told him the cost of the vehicle he stated that a third party vendor does these sites for them and entered the rebates twice and the price was wrong. Funny how a few more dealerships had the same type of vehicles which was loaners going for the same rate. Informed Tony that I was shopping for Silverados and needed his best price. He told me to give him a price and I said no, what is your best price? He became very aggravated and aggressive towards me and hung up. Yes, he hung up on me. At no time was I rude or unprofessional.
Later that day I called back again and it was still a cluster. Talked to a guy named Dennis who came across extremely desperate and acted like he had never sold a car. I asked for another pre owned person and this offended him. Finally got ahold of a guy named Jay and he hung up on me twice by accident but called me back both times. In the middle of all this Tony got wind of this and called me. I record the conversation between Tony and I and he stated that he hung up on me that morning and nothing else needed to be said. Seriously?
Finally got ahold of the GM named Ali and explained what happen. Even sent him the recorded conversation between Tony and Myself. That was around 4 today. It’s now 9:30 at night and nothing. I did get ahold of Clay Cooley’s personal secretary and she assured me the Clay, Chase and Ali are working on this. I also filed a complaint with GM corporate and the chamber in Irving Texas. Will follow up with the Atteiney Generals office in the morning.
Being a loyal GM owner for 25 years and dealing with dealerships for about the same time I have never dealt with such a group of unprofessional people in my life. These guys already have a bad image in the industry but always liked Clays commercials and a personal friend picked up a SUV from them last year and said what a great group of people.
I truly feel being in a unique situation with excellent credit and putting down a large amount of money hurt me more than it helped in this situation. That the target market for them are people with ok credit so they may finance them with lenders who will give them kick backs in the loan process and make more money at the end of the day.
I truly hope you turn this situation around fast and coach and train this group at the Chevrolet dealership in Irving so no other’s customers have to experience this again.
$1500 down the drain - HOTT2SHOPP
This service department sucks. I had my son's 2009 Chevy cobalt towed in for repairs on November 20, 2018 - engine would randomly shut off. The 1st estimate to fix it was $1,047. I repeatedly asked for diagnostic codes and itemized cost to repair which I never received to my satisfaction. After that repair, car was pushed out of service shop - still not running and I was billed an additional $400 for a battery and a Ubec something or other. Jeff Erwin -service manager - got me a $100 discount. We picked the car up 12/15/18 for the $1445.67 and within 4 hours the check engine light was on again. I called Mr.Erwin and took it back in for diagnostics. No real issues found - something about thermostat which controls heating and cooling- not engine shutting off. On Sunday, 12/23/18 - engine shut off again luckily in a parking lot where he was not in a dangerous situation. We took the car back in on 12/26. On 12/27 - Chris in service department calls me and tells me there are 3 other problems causing shut off - new charges. Picked car up on 12/28 w/o having the new $637.00 on repairs done. Contacting BBB as soon as possible. They either owe me 800 for overcharging me the 1st time I brought the car in of 637.00 in repairs free of charge. They are not getting another dime from me and I will never own another Chevrolet. As soon as my kid is out of college - he too will never do business there and I will see to that. Can't drive that car back to A&M for sure.
bait and switch - dontbaitme
I recently attempted to purchase a new truck from Classic in Grapevine. I should have known better because I purchased 2 new cars from there in 2016 and both of those were problematic also ( The two previous salesmen have either been fired or retired since then).
In my latest adventure the salesman, Frank R., tried three different "bait and switch" tactics:
1. He tried to get me to leave the dealership with a truck that the next day he said was $3700 more
than the day before.
2. He then tried to "fix" his mistake by offering to price match another truck but the other truck had
a MSRP that was $3000 less than the first one. There wasn't any price match. It was just a
3. Finally, after negotiating a replacement truck, he then writes up a purchase agreement using the
VIN for the first truck ($3700 more) not for the one with the lower MSRP (about a $6000
Do not trust them. Totally unprofessional. No due diligence. Do not allow them to rush you through the paperwork. Although I am brand loyal, I would not recommend Classic to anyone who wants to have an enjoyable non-problematic new car/truck buying experience.
I am very happy with the new truck that I purchased from another dealer.
