Saved the day AGAIN! - lou86
Three years ago we were expecting our third baby which was a miraculous surprise, but it put us into a situation where we needed a bigger car ASAP. We went to Jerry’s and they were able to get us into a 2010 GMC Acadia that was fully loaded and had decent miles for its age. They really took care of us and gave us a great deal. Well Thursday, we found ourselves in another have to situation. Because I ended up having to drive my car a ton more than we had planned at purchase, my Acadia was on its last leg. It needed some really expensive repairs and we didn’t have or want to put the money into it. I was just shy of panic mode when I called my Dad who had had been in the car business. He told me to call Jerry’s again to see if they could help me and if they would be ok with talking to him on my behalf. I spoke to Michelle Blankenship and she was amazing. She said she would be happy to talk to me AND my Dad and since I live in Little Elm and couldn’t drive easily 2 hours with toddlers, she communicated with me by phone and text. I sent her pictures of my car, filled out the credit app online, told her what my top choice was and she told me she would get with finance and do her best to get me into that car. The next day I was able to go get my new car. All I had to do was sign the paperwork and switch cars. Mike Tunstall was my finance manger. He was amazing and really went to bat for us. They accepted my car, problems and all, and gave me a more than fair value for it. Because I was still upside down on my car, our credit was decent but not amazing, AND we are self employed, he really had to fight for us. He was able to get our interest rate down over 2% and his manager saw that I had to drive a lot, so he increased our warranty an additional 25k miles for free! We also were able to get 5 year warranty on tires and rims with miles unlimited and gap insurance and all for a super affordable payment. I was able to leave with the vehicle I wanted (2017 Santa Fe Unlimited) and know that we got a really great deal. My Dad was also so impressed which is hard to do and he even plans on getting his and my mom’s new cars there and using Michelle and Mike.
Even though it’s a 2 hour drive one way, I won’t go anywhere else but Jerry’s. They have a customer for life in me and my family. Aside from the great deals they’ve given us, it’s obvious they really care. They told me their motto is to treat each customer as though they were their actual family, and I really felt that the both times I was there. Michelle was the sweetest and Mike was so kind and generous. I couldn’t be more grateful for their help not once but twice.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH FINANCE MANAGER - K Flores
This dealership was friendly and helpful at first. I did NOT want the extended warranty, but the financial manager added it my contract anyway. When I asked him to remove it, he said he did not NEED to redo the paperwork. I could just remove the warranty after-the-fact by sending a cancellation order later and that my payments would go back to the original stated amount. But, afterwards - he told me a different story saying the Extended Warranty amount would be credited to the last few payments of the note. I told him this wasn't acceptable, but he told me he could not change the contract. I asked for verification that he did cancel the warranty. He never gave it. So I called the Extended Warranty office myself. After 2 months, it turns out that it NEVER WAS cancelled. I would have been paying for something I had not agreed to and didn't know I had. I tried to contact the manager of the dealership and he never returned my numerous calls. After I signed my contract with them, they were VERY uncooperative afterwards. They knew I was short on time when I came in to purchase and needed to make this deal quickly. They took advantage of that and used it to cheat me. They also entered my address incorrectly on the financial documents, so I didn't receive my first two statements and had to make my payments by phone. I feel this was done intentionally in order to keep my fooled that the warranty fee was removed. I had to cancel the warranty on my own. The warranty company is supposedly sending me a refund soon. It will be a check made out to Hyundai Finance. When I receive it, I am supposed to take it to Hyundai and they will credit my loan. I am not satisfied with the method of adjusting the refund so even though I know I will lose money on this transaction, I will get rid of this vehicle right away. I NO LONGER WISH TO DEAL WITH HYUNDAI !!! The finance manager that I dealt with is Rick.

This was a excellence experience for me. My initial visit was to get my vehicle serviced but ended up purchasing a new Santa Fe. Lisa Conway, was still new but went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied with her service, because I wasn't feeling my best when I was there. I would recommend Hiley Hyundai, to anyone looking for a new or used Hyundai's. Mike, New Car Manager, Seth Finance Manager & Lisa Conway, were able to pull together and work out a deal for me.
