Very smooth process, with a few (salesman) "erks" - James
I purchased a preowned Ford Raptor a month ago, and most of the process went very smoothly. I was not hassled on my trade-in value, and everyone I interacted with was very kind and professional. That being said, my salesman was a total BS'r(Go figure huh!!). The only reason I mention it is because it is costing me mucho money$$ I asked for a carfax, and was literally told no by the salesman(Bob) assured that what he gave me(autocheck report) showed me everything that the carfax would about the vehicle history. After arguing about that, he told me he would get it for me when I came back to go through financing. Then he said he forgot but "would print it now" and that he had looked and there were no major issues, just normal warrantied maintenance work on it. So I took his word and proceeded with the purchase. Carfax shows all kinds of issues I would have loved to know about and several that are giving me problems right now. He also told me he would fill it up with gas and didn't then argued about it with me later.(Never bought a car without a full tank of gas) No deal breakers, and overall an okay experience but those kinds of things can definitely "erk" a customer.. High mileage trucks are going to need some work and I understand that but with the purchase being so recent and the issues being previously found(apparently not resolved) and listed in the Carfax he didnt want to give me. Not cool.

I recently had to replace my KIA optima with another used vehicle, do to it being totaled in a accented. So i did my research online and found myself wanting a little larger vehicle than what my KIA was. Southwest Nissan in Weatherford, TX, web site made it very easy to see the inventory and prices of the dealership. When i arrived at the dealership, i remembered seeing a couple of sales person waiting in the parking lot and thinking to myself how they could be compared to vultures circling their prey. Little did i know how much i would enjoy being proven wrong. The gentleman greeted me and with a firm handshake and introduced himself as Mr. Tyler Weidler.
I informed Tyler that i was interested in a 2016 Nissan frontier, he promptly informed me, with a great deal of joy, that they had 2 and encouraged me to have a look and test drive them both. It was during this time he explained to why he was so happy about the Frontier with a story about a family member that may have been lost if it were not do to the vehicle exceptional safety performance. Now I know this could be a sales tactic but Tyler proved himself to be down to earth and honest with his responses to my questions, answering me with his knowledge or promising to find out and following though on it, all while sharing his jokes and stories.
After the test drive i found myself desiring of the trucks, but just to be through i wanted to think it over and get a second or third opinion of someone i trusted about the vehicle. So i informed Tyler that i would like take some time and come back to the dealership after lunch. He immediately countered with " why don't you take the truck with you to lunch?" Seeing the opportunity i had to actually take the truck to the people i trusted i took him up on the offer. And with in a hour or two, i had multiple people confirming many things, if not all what Tyler had informed about the truck.
The Price was a great deal for the truck, but more importantly this dealership does pride itself with honesty, always questionable for a business to claim but the way i was treated and the fact that Tyler is still willing to answer any annoying question i might have about my new truck. Shows me that Southwest Nissan in Weatherford are indeed trying to live up to doing an honest business by putting the costumer first.

My fiancé and I came to Hooks Lincoln with pretubation. We had been car shopping throughout the day and grown tired of the mental beating of dealing car salesmen. Boy, did Mark turn that around quickly. Before we even looked at the vehicle Mark wanted us to come in and get to know us and what we were looking for. We walked in to the dealership with the MKC in mind (which we loved), but realized that the rear cargo space wasn't going to be up to our future needs.
After discussing whether we should still go with the MKC despite the cargo space. Mark asked if we would like check out the new Nautilus which is similar in technology and drive, but a little bigger. We we're not disappointed. This SUV reset the bar for what we will consider an excellent vehicle. However, Hooks didn't have the trim/features we really wanted. Mark went to work for us and scoured through all the available vehicles in Texas. During the process he was constantly sending us updates and was working with me to get everything lined up (as I was out of town).
I would highly recommend Mark and Hooks Lincoln to anyone looking for excellent customer service, a relaxed atmosphere, and, of course, a great car.

Catherine was very welcoming, gracious and helpful. We first contacted her online and she invited us to come into the dealership. She was waiting for us when we arrived and greeted us warmly. We had many questions that she knowledgeably answered. When we exhausted our questions she offered information about the vehicle we were interested in.
While we were taking a test drive she continued to give us information about the car. Upon returning to the dealership we can began to talk to her about purchase procedures. As she went back and forth between speaking with us and her manager she was very warm and courteous.
After we agreed to a purchase the vehicle she continued to touch base with us through each phase of the contract process. She continued to make us feel important.
There was a special, unique situation which prevented us from immediately taking possession of the car and she made accommodations for us.
