RONELL RAM IS THE MAN!! I have been looking to purchase a used Range Rover for some time and have tirelessly looked through every site. I called and spoke with many dealers but was never given straight answers, not called back or just ignored. Then I found a '13 Rover Supercharged at Texas Auto on Autotrader. I called and Ronell Ram answered the phone. I told him I was very interested and he went over the details of the car. I said that was the one I wanted. In 5 minutes he took my information over the phone and said he would call me back. 15 minutes later Ronell and the Finance manager Edward called me back with the rate I was looking for, the cost for transport and all the details. I agreed and they sent overnight the paperwork. Ronell was a pleasure to deal with and I will keep going back to Texas Auto in the future!! Edward in Finance was great as well. He answered all my questions quickly with no run around. Even when I called later with an insurance question, the young lady that answered the phone new exactly what to tell me. THANK YOU!!!

Brook Hall from Hertz Car Sales, Gulf Frwy location, apologized for our atrocious experience at their Katy location and worked, over the next day, to try to locate another car for us. Although I had no plans to ever do business with Hertz Car sales again & was quite hesitant, Brook was persistant, professional and diligently worked, along with his management staff, to find my son a car just like the original Sonic we had begun our search for at the Katy Frwy location. The difference between the people we dealt with at the Katy location and those at the Gulf Freeway location were like night and day. Brook & his team at the Gulf Frwy location treated us with consideration and respect, accepted the responsibility of mistakes made (not by them, but by Hertz Car Sales, Katy) and ultimately earned our businesss! We found the Finance & General Managers, Kevin Baker and Brian Gonzales to also be straight forward, courteous and knowledgeable. My 21 year old son, learned quite a bit about car sales through this experience. We absolutely appreciate the direct, no gimmick car buying experience we had with you. Syed and Jacob helped me find the perfect car for me at the price I needed. Syed asked questions as to what I was looking for and heard me when I answered. DeMontrond, in Texas City, was my first stop in my quest for a car and I purchased the 2nd car that I saw and drove. I never purchase anything this quickly not even a pair of shoes, so this is a testament as to how well Syed listen to what I communicated.
Syed and Jacob were not pushy and that was a very important quality for me. Syed answered all my questions and was very thorough and patient in explaining the features of the car.
I started looking for a car dreading the process but Syed and Jacob made it a wonderful experience and I am thankful for them.

The salesman did everything nice get me the vehicle that I wanted. Made sure it had all the features and everything I needed. The price was down where I want it.
The time with the finance personnel was not so great. I was stuck with a high interest rate so I cannot recommend financing with this dealership. This is my third Chevy I'm switch to another brand. After signing all the paperwork the interest rate was at the end not realizing that.

Subaru of Clear Lake (Gillman) broke my daughter’s heart and ensured that we will never shop at a Gillman brand ever again.
We had a deal to purchase a vehicle on Monday at 5. At 4:23, we got a text saying the vehicle had been sold to someone else. After confirming the schedule at 3:40.
We saw the vehicle just before closing on Saturday evening. I texted our salesman, Jacob Moniz, on Sunday morning to tell him we wanted to purchase the vehicle. On Monday morning, we texted back and forth about the details (the price had increased, but the manager agreed to honor Saturday’s promotional price). We set a time for us to come in and complete the paperwork. My husband left work early, so we could get there at 5. He wanted the kids to witness the purchasing process since the car would be their first car. My daughter was over the moon. Until we got the text saying it had been sold to someone else just as we were on our way to the dealership. She was devastated. We all were.
I saved the entire text history and planned to share it with anyone who would listen. Thank you to the manager for asking my opinion. I hope that the request was genuine and that the manager will use this information to improve their employees’ unethical practices. I have never been more disappointed in a business transaction. My guess is they got an offer to purchase the car at the increased price, so threw my family under the bus. I would have happily come in earlier to purchase the car, if necessary. The only reason we were coming in later was so the kids could fully participate in the purchase of their first car.
It was a big deal. It was special. And this dealership made it a horrible experience.
We will never shop at a Gillman brand dealership, again.

Bait and Switch - MissLed
Called ahead to confirm vehicle availability and internet price, arrived preapproved. Test drove the exact advertised vehicle and tried to purchase for the price agreed to over the phone (and listed on the website). Dealer wanted msrp (which was $8k more), stated they could not meet the advertised price because it was incorrect. This price is still advertised for 4 of their vehicles (same make and model), they're using bait and switch to get people into the dealership.
What was also very odd was that everytime the salesman came back from 'talking with the manager' the price went UP(!?) the first time we thought it was a mistake.
We arrived preapproved, excellent credit and a willingness to purchase on the spot, also this particular car is a new 2018 that has been on the lot for over 181 days, what were they waiting for?

I bought a car and less than three weeks later (as in, hadn't even made one car payment yet), I had to take it in the shop for MAJOR repairs (they obviously sold it to me with issues). They kept the car for over a week - they didn't even start LOOKING AT IT for almost 3 days - and truly did not care that I had to rent another vehicle to get to work. AND I had to pay the warranty deductible on top of that!!
So ... on a "new"/used car, I spent $500+ (car rental and deductible) in less than a month just because of their screw-ups. They sent me emails telling me I was late on my payment, etc. WHEN THEY HAD THE CAR IN THEIR POSSESSION. They take their money immediately but don't give a s*** about taking care of their customers. I was told "We have other cars that come in for service". Well YEAH, of course you do, but you FIX THE CAR YOU GOT IN FIRST!!!!! I'm so irritated and wish I NEVER would have bought there. Yes, they put you in a car fast, but you pay out the you-know-what (I'm paying more than double what the value of the car is worth) and the salesman was SO rude. Please - PLEASE - go somewhere else.
