Good sales, bad finance, ugly management - Jason M Waltz
50 years, 20+ car purchases or leases, and this is the worst dealership experience ever. Salesman himself was fine, no complaints with him - it's the finance and management you should beware. Zero customer service, zero initiated communication unless they want something and even if they've said they'd call, and zero ownership of their internal issues. Apparently they are not interested in putting the customer first - if they were they'd own up to taking 40 days to payoff a trade-in and causing all sorts of additional financial stress and forcing us to cover their errors. I thought Red McCombs was above the infamous dealer failure to payoff a trade-in scam.
No pressure and all were VERY friendly. - Hicks62
Everyone very friendly with on pressure to buy. Excellent dealership. I would recommend any to visit and purchase a car. Gary Schaefer knows product information and a super guy.
Car buying. - Carol
Bought a new car after paper work was complete they handed me the key. Sales manager Armando said it would be an extra 1500 if I wanted another key. Cris the salesman was fine and so was John Henry who did the final paper work. But was so turned off by Armandoi will never step foot in there agai. Except to pick up my plates.
Manager sales person - Nick Rod
The first sales person was very helpful and nice. She was super understanding and seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. We test drove a car, and although the car interior was extremely dirty it drove very nicely. She then turned us to her manager/ financial person. He was extremely pushy and rude! I went in wanting to test drive a Sentra waited for 4 hrs to test drive 1 car. Not a Sentra! When asked if I was ready to purchase, I answered not yet I’m gonna test drive a Sentra with Gun dealership. His reply was well how much are they offering their car. I replied $8,400 with 94,000 miles, keep in mind your Sentra was $8,700 with 106,000. He replied with a Snarky comment about it only being a couple miles more and was still pushing the (dirty) sonata, not even offering the Sentra!!! I ended up purchasing the vehicle from Gun. Thanks
Worst Car Dealer I have ever dealt with. - Pissedoffcustomer
I was in the market to buy a Hybrid car/suv. I saw an ad on a 2017 Ford C Max Hybrid that World Car South had. I contacted them & made an appointment to look at. The salesman was helpful until the sale was completed. There were a couple of things that were to be taken care of by the dealer. The finance Dept were fantastic to deal with. After the sale, our salesman acted like he could care less. My problems began when I tried to get the items the dealer agreed to taken care of. I left numerous phone messages to the salesman with no response. Next I called the sales manager & finally had an appointment to have things taken care of. 1. License plate bracket. 2. Second programmed key. 3. Under dash cover. 4. Fuse box cover. I took the car in to the dealer. After waiting for a couple of hours, they said they had to take the car next door to the Ford dealer as they (World car) could not program the key. They were going to do this immediately when I got there. They didn’t want to pay the Ford dealer if they could do it themself. I spent hours waiting for this to get done. I spoke with the (non) service Mgr. What a worthless xxx. He ended up telling me to get out of the dealership. I told him to go to xxxx. I then contacted the GM (Hilton). I told him of the problems I had with the salesman, sales manager & service mgr. I told him with having problems with these different people, the problem lies with management. He said he would get me taken care of. He has failed three times call me when he said he would. He is great at apologizing. Just not great at taking care of a customer. The so called service manager should be fired & never work in anything service oriented. I am 68 years old & have purchased more cars than I can remember. This is the worst experience dealing with a car dealer I have ever had. I will not ever deal with anything to do with World Car. I even put a call in to the owner. Guess what? He never called me back. Do yourself a favor, deal with anyone else but World Car. Oh by the way, lifetime warranty. My car was a 2017 with less than 12,000 mi. No warranty. What a joke.
