Repaired broken spring on 5th wheel. - Lawson
We worked with service advisor Tony Glewwe. He went out of his way to get our problem resolved and get us on the road again as quickly as possible. Their replacement of the broken spring was compounded by the fact that we had a Canadian built trailer with parts that are not standard in the US, and no longer available. Tony kept working to locate a replacement spring without success. He then located a business nearby that made a new spring to our specifications. He kept us informed and was always polite and considerate of our situation. I would not hesitate to recommend Crestview RV if you have a problem in the area of Georgetown, Texas. Tony was a pleasure to work with.
Horrible customer service, before and after the sale - Jim
Explore USA Kyle tried to sell us a fifth wheel that was too heavy to legally tow on my driver's license - A Class A non-commercial driver's license is required in the state of Texas to tow any combination with a Gross Combined Vehicle Rating (GCVR) over 26,000 lbs per Tx DoT. The 2019 Heartland Torque we settled on is a complete xxxxx. It has been in the shop for a month now, with three pages of write-ups! Right out of the gate, the positive wire to the battery disconnect (ironically, an optional safety feature) was routed over the frame, under the floor, which caused an electrical fire. The manufacturer rep we were dealing with quit, and we have heard nothing else. The generator was improperly installed, and we could have died from Carbon Monoxide poisoning!
