I agreed to a price with the salesman that I would pay for the car. However when I got to the sales finance guy he had added in $150 hand buff fee.
There was no mention anywhere me agreeing to pay this however I just wanted out of there so I didn’t want to argue with the people who just wanted to argue with people all day. Also, the car was listed as newly detailed it was gross. There was stuff dripping down the side of the console, They didn’t have all of the keys.... in my opinion if you’re going to sell cars you may want to get them ready to sell before you actually sell them. Very frustrating on the money I spent

Jennifer's Stands Behind Their Cars - Used Car Sucker
I purchased a car from Jennifer's Auto Sales in October 2018. In December 2018, an internal engine bolt failed (broke) causing piston to valve contact and resulted in catastrophic engine failure. The extended warranty company refused to cover the engine replacement, citing some ambiguous language buried deep within the fine print of the extended warranty. I was looking at a situation where I had an undrivable car that I just paid $8K for, along with a (worthless) extended warranty that I paid another $3K for and potentially being on the hook for a $5K engine replacement bill. I was obviously outraged, angry and extremely frustrated by the situation and, as a result, was a very 'difficult' customer to deal with. Bill (the Operations/General Manager) reached out and contacted me. He was very professional and courteous, and offered to override the warranty company denial, and basically replace the engine at his expense. Jennifer's did the engine replacement in their shop. Their service manager was extremely friendly, professional and helpful, and communicated with me throughout the process. The replacement was completed very promptly and when I went to pick up my car, was very pleasantly surprised to find out that Bill had even waived the warranty deductible. So far so good, the car is running great. Integrity is in short supply in the world these days. It was very refreshing to do business with a company that stands behind what they sell and does the right thing.

Caveat emptor - Mr. Padilla
So, I have to state that that this review is more a Caveat emptor, and the issues I have found with the dodge 2008 Dakota I bought about two weeks ago. This Dakota that I bought had 116k miles +/- 500 . Now has 117,8ish . Now I will state that the Dakota was sold as is and no warranty. That being said I have serious doubts any sort inspection where done on this vehicle. I took the truck last week for an oil change. The was informed the serpentine belt was shot, and after getting the old belt it was indeed shot (and original mopar branded belt). Fast foward to this wensday I plug the block heater in on the truck, only to find that the water pump starts leaking like a sieve. This is giving me the feeling that this truck was just detailed and put up for sale. So I run the truck around the corner to my mechanic to fix the water pump and ask him to give the truck a quick once over. Apon picking up the truck he infoms me that, front brakes need to be done, the ball joint are beyond gone,("please get them fixed, if not from me somebody a.s.a.p!") and the front abs wire has been cut . So nearly $1200 dollars later. Issues adressed I thought I would share, for any hard working on a tight budget families out their to be aware and bring a mechanice friend. Anyways, this isn`t posted in anger, more dissapointment. Cause as I said I expected some issues with the truck, not what appears to be no attention to issues of safety.
Follow up (2/619). After posting my review and contacting Valley auto liquidators. Dave the owner contacted me and met me halfway and reimbusrt me for the ball joints. I can pleasantly say I was surprised and relieved that Dave was willing to work with me on a reasonable situation for all sides. So that said, if I could change the doesnt recommend star to recommend I would. Thank Dave for working with in civilized professonal manner. Most apperciated!

The car I purchased was not properly inspected by the shop at the dealership. The entire front wheel fell off the car while I was driving with my daughter in the car. Over the next few months I spent close to $7500.00 trying to keep it drivable.
These guys only concern is money.

Almost impossible to have a trade in evaluated.. You must make a decision during a 2 hour test drive, but evaluation of trade takes a week. Also, during 2 separate test drives, no sales consultant called me as promised. Cumbersome system run by outside company, not Avis. A supervisor made an earnest effort to help me through the process, but there was poor follow up.

I was over charged and they repair the used cars cheaply. I drove back home, to moscow, with my new used car and when i got home the oil pan was dripping oil because they had just put apoxy on a crack. So i drove the car to the repair shop to have a new oil pan installed it cost me $900! Also they didn't replace the batery so after a month i had to buy a new battery. This dealership is absolutely horibble because they overcharge for the vehicals and cheaply repair the cars.

I recently wrote a review of Dorsey that was very negative. Since writing the review the situation for our van has been rectified by the dealer Dorsey Auto. I would highly recomend this dealer. After some initial communications issues that were not really the fault of Tom Dorsey, Tom agreed to help us pay for a new transmission. Tom has also since decided to offer a limited warranty for most of his used cars. Please disregard the previous review and give Tom the benefit of the doubt. The Dorsey dealership really does care about its customers and has turned this situation around. Again Thank you Tom and sorry about the bad press....
