This was my first time service my ClS 550 and the overall experience was great. However, due to overcrowded and backed up service car, I did not receive promptly information regarding to my car status. I called 2-3 times just to find out what was the status of my car after 4 hours of waiting. Paul, my service guy was very knowledgeable and he arranged shuttle service for me to make it more convienent. I came from another car dealership in Van Nuys, their service department is way more advanced and the complimentary drinks and snacks have more options comparing to South Bay Mercedes Benz dealership. I wish the service department customers waiting lounge can be more advanced and more selections rather simply proving dounuts to the customers. However, the overall experience is great and I recommend to local residents.
Poor service - Service 213
Today 9/8/18, I went to West Covina service dept to check the tires. As lights came on. Service rep William Magana tended to my request. I asked for a car wash afterwards. William refused saying that it only comes with service. I believe if one visits the service dept for any reasons customers should be provided with service. This is my third unsatisfactory visit with this dealer's service dept. I will visit other service dept from now on. I'm very disappointed with this dealer's service dept.
They should live up to their name. Service is worse than other non luxury car dealers.

I am writing this review while the vehicle had its second service done (Sevice B) not even 10 Days ago . Now while im driving the car to meet a client a Notification came “ check brake pad wear” so consequently the meeting got canceled!
Going to the dealer ship the serivce “consultant” gilbert tells me that he can not help me at the moment and the car has to stay for a Day! No loaner either ... basically go do whatever u want !
I called Tarry (Terry) the service department director while im at the dealership while she was at the office with another coworker! (just to see if she would pick up!!) She didn’t.

Misleading advertising squeezing out additional $20.000 - I
They mailed me a color flyer with my name on it (meaning many of their customers got it) offering to take over my lease that I have had with another MB dealership for less than a year and that I’d choose a new lease taking a car from the Encino MB dealership. OK I thought, never heard of such a thing but maybe ..if I see a car I like I could do it ....
They didn’t have a car I wanted so I asked around at other MB dealerships in the area and they all said,..what does Encino want to do ? I found out I would have to pay some $ 20.000 that they would ‘spread over several months to make it ‘easier’ ! They told me...’we are sorry to give you the bad news, but your car depreciated by $ 20.000 and so you have two options - either return it and pay $20.000 or keep on paying the lease..! I understand some people do eat this up and give them the money...
I was told if I wanted to I could talk to the manager Mr Sam Lee who was the source of this, he wouldn’t even contact my to give an explanation or anything..

I scheduled an appointment with the House of Imports a few days ago and told them I needed a loaner car at which time they said no problem. When I arrived at my appointment, the service technician was 15-20 minutes late and told me a loaner car may/may not be available because they don't reserve loaner cars for customers. I had to get a B1 service at which time they said they will cost me ~$2,000; I said I don't think I need all this service and would like a basic oil and filter change. That was when things went from bad to worst and they said no loaner car was available and I would have to wait at the dealership until the service was done. I requested to speak with the manager and the technician said he was "busy" and I went to his office and the manager was surfing the internet. I questioned him about the service and loaner car and he told me that's how we operate here and if you don't like it too bad. I had been at this dealership in the past for 2 other services and there was no problem and my old technician was great but he no longer works there (I can see why). I will be going to a different Mercedes dealership for service in the future.

Please Don't fall for it like I did, because I didn't believe all of the reviews I read and I tried my own luck, and let me tell you it was One xxxx of an experience (that's literally) Sales/Service/Finance it doesn't matter they are the absolute WORSE Place To Ever Do Business At, you have been warned and if you don't listen like I didn't, I'm sure I will see your Horror Story here in the very near future, I Promise You.
