My Dream Car with Red Carper Treatment - CaliGirl93
I received the best service ever at a car dealership. Rami Zeid took wonderful care of me. I was not in the most positive mode having less than perfect credit, mechanical issues on my trade-in, and upsidedown in the note. He jumped through hoops, and with his solid long time relationships and expertise he was able to get me approved on the terms I wanted on my dream car, a fire engine red Volkswagen Jetta. He gave me a great of advice, truthful information about the car industry, and treated me with the utmost respect. I left there feeling like part of their family. He even followed through on setting up my first service appointment. Over all the presentation of their dealership was not crowded or hectic like most. I felt the highest amount of quality and true class. I highly recommended this dealership and my sales representative.
Outstanding customer service from Willie Rockett - VeraM
I had the most pleasant experience at the VW Santa Monica service thanks to Mr. Rockett. Very professional, knowledgeable, he made the whole experience a breeze. A model of customer service. Thank you.
Purchase process was straightforward, follow up was lacking. - floydandrio
Worked with Chris Estrada. Purchasing was very straighforward and had no issues while we were at the dealership. Process was very seamless and I was satisified.
Within the next month, I reached back out because I wanted to remove the GAP insurance from by contract because I found a better rate elsewhere. Took two emails and a few days of continuously calling the dealership over the course of nearly a month before I finally got ahold of their Finance Manager, Fred. To his defense, Fred was out on vacation. Understandable. But, it was frustrating that the other people I spoke with who said they would give him the message apparently did not, as Fred had no prior knowledge of my reaching out until I complained to their FB page. Also, when I spoke with Chris on the phone, it didn't seem like he remembered who I was, even after I gave him my name, and didn't ask or have any interest on how things were going with my purchase... I get this may not be a big deal to most people, but when I compare that to when I leased my Mercedes a few years ago, Mercedes was very attentive before, during AND after I finalized my lease, which is why I cannot give Pacific VW a full 5 star review. Nevertheless, I wouldn't necessarily let this prevent me from recommending Pacific VW in the future, I just wish the same level of attentiveness would have been present even after I made my purchase.
GTI purchase - 1bixby1
I had great experience working with Danny on my GTI lease. He provided all the senders to my questions and was a pleasure to work with. Even after the fact, he checked in to make sure I was enjoying my car. Great service, great people, highly recommended.
Out of this world!! - Vwcruz
A dealership that actually makes the effort to listen to their potential customers. Miguel and Fausto where amazing, they made us feel at home. Even with our little one running around they they helped us feel comfortable. Amazing service. Best buying experience bar none.
Scam Artists - Nicholas
The initial buying experience was fine, only to be followed by complete and utter nonsense from the dealership.
Due to their own neglect and complete lack of intelligence, they are demanding I owe them over $1000, 45+ days after signing lease papers on a new Volkswagen.
They are attempting to RIP ME OFF and I will not stand for it.
These are the LOSERS / CON ARTISTS I dealt with:
EDWIN LEGASPI - Sales Manager / Scam Artist
OMAR FONSECA - Sales Manager / Scam Artist
DANNY DONAYRE - Good Cop / Scam Artist
AVOID Timmons Volkswagen of Long Beach at all costs.
Crappy Dealership - Nasreentaylor
Bought a car there three weeks ago cash. A 2016 VW Jetta. It had very low miles. It took me a while due to me being undecisive which I could tell was starting to upset the sales agent. I saw a car I was interested in. I did a walk around of the entire car. I did notice some scratches under corner of the front bumper and figured it was minor. Went for a test drive and fell in love. Although I was paying cash, I was there almost five hours waiting on the forms that needed to be signed. I finally signed all the forms and then went to the cashier dept. I didn’t have the exact purchase amount of the vehicle, whoever does and was due back some change in the total amount of $22.66 which they said I could have mailed to me or I could pick it up. I have yet to receive it thru the mail. On top of that a few days later I noticed some color discoloration on the paint on the bottom of both passenger doors the same side where the front bumper was scratched. Apparently the previous owner ran on top of the curb. It Cost me an additional $700 to fix that. I called them about my money and the paint job. Was told by a sales rep. “I know you don’t think we’re gonna give you money towards that. If it doesn’t interfere with the mechanical part of the car then we’re not liable” . Really, okay anyway well where’s my money from the change you owe Which I don’t think I’ll ever get. They transfer you from one person to the next when you have an issue it seems. I love my car but won’t be going back to them ever again.
"Not a way to treat a customer, bad service.. “ part 2 - A client like you
Yesterday I received this extremely courteous message on this forum which is the complete opposite to how I have been treated by Jerod Proulx. I tells me they will own their actions “privately “ so let’s share how this ends publicly!
After my review. I was lied continuously for a bit longer than a week, I call every day as I was promised a call with status but never received a single call back, I was able to talk to Jerod Proulx who by a miracle was not “in a meeting” or had “ a family emergency “
This is how he talks: “ I am kind enough to do you the favor since I had to review my cameras and noticed you didn’t test you car” note; that’s not how guarantees work, The job is guaranteed regardless of eat eat briefly works in front of a camera the day you pick your car. Keep in mind it took them over a week to respond however When I dropped off the car for second time it was almost 5 P They send me an email 7:45 AM next day telling me the car had electrical issues therefore they will not guarantee anything.
Funny how they can diagnose within seconds at clients cost But take over a week to respond when its at dealers cost.
Would picked the car up for the second time we tested it in front of the cameras just like Jerod Proulx wanted however he didn’t even bother to show his face .
Not to surprise the car doesn’t work properly I called immediately and Jerod Proulx talked to me in this terms “ Do you whatever you want I want pay more money for your car”
There you have it McKenna Volkswagen Cerritos at its best
Following this there will be formal complaint unless the situation is rectified and the job Is honored in full.
Will keep everyone posted.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Awful customer service with the service center - UpsetVWcustomer
Never take your car here! I brought my car to get the engine light diagnosed. When I went to pick up the car, they had damaged it (it was hit on the back left, see picture). They denied doing any damage. I had them look at video footage and they realized there was NO damage to the car when I dropped it off originally. They agreed to fix it for me. However, when I went to pick up the car again, there was MORE damage and they hadn't fixed the entire car! They only fixed part of it (the black plastic part was still broken!). It took a ton of haggling back and forth to get them to agree to fix the rest of it. I had to wait at the dealership for 3 hours. Additionally, their staff was rude and insulting to me and accused me of only taking my car to them to get diagnosed for free and then having pep boys work on it. This is completely untrue! They had sent me a coupon for a free diagnosis. After it was diagnosed, I decided to sell the car instead of getting it fixed. I have spent hundreds of dollars at this dealership for oil changes, engine diagnosis, and air bag repairs. They accused me of not being a "regular customer". Even if it was the first time I was going there, if you damage someone's car, you should fix it immediately and not insult the customer. I have never been treated with such disrespect. I would NEVER go here again! The guys that work in the service center are rude and disrespectful. They also put down other service centers (ie: pep boys and jiffy lube) and say that other service centers are incompetent and don't know what they're doing. The guys that work here are egotistical and arrogant and think they know everything. Clearly they don't know how to give good customer service.
