This is my second time purchasing a Honda with Frank. There are numerous Honda dealerships in my neighborhood but we chose to drive over an hour to give the business to Frank at Sierra Honda. The reason we chose Frank was because he’s very honest, straight forward and great pricing. I have dealt with many dealerships through my life time and a lot of them likes to attract customers to come in with an attractive pricing and they didn’t honor their price at the end. It’s never the case with Frank and that’s why I have referred a lot of my friends to him! knowledgeable regarding the cars they sale there and most of all she was honest, patient and she cared about my concerns.
Yahira took her time with me and answered all my questions. She also took the time with no rush to help me find the best deal for me and took me to pick out a car to my liking.
She showed me the features of the vehicle I chose and connected my phone to Honda link. I left there feeling like a valued customer. She followed up with me a couple of days later to make certain that I was completely satisfied with my purchase.

After suffering two ordeals at two different Honda dealers, I decided to give El Monte Honda a try.
I arrived at the dealership’s service center a few minutes before it’s 7:00 a.m. opening time.
There were a several customers ahead of me, but once the spacious arrival area was opened up- the customers were promptly greeted and we were questioned about our reasons for being there.
A few minutes later I was greeted by Service Advisor, Ken Okimoto.
I was processed in, and I was given an written estimate for the oil/ filter change, and the tire rotation. I was told that I would be contacted should the mechanic find any additional issue that I might need to be made aware of.
I was also given an estimate for how long it was going to take.
I received a text message advising me that my car was ready. I walked over to Ken O’s office, where I was able to pay, as well as, pick up my car and drive home.
I was surprised that no mention was made about the cabin filter, and the engine air filter-
since the previous dealership recommended that both be changed during both my 30,000 and 40,000 mile service. (were both bad both times?)
I trust that this time, they were both inspected, and that they were found to be acceptable.
This resulted in a savings to me of about $100.00.
I plan to continue having my car serviced at El Monte Honda- I will ask for Ken Okimoto.

Apparently their computer doesn’t detect a problem there is none. I brought my auto twice to this dealership with the same exact problem. My alarm goes off every two minutes, my auto lock will not lock and the Bluetooth for phone calls is a hit or miss if it will work. But because the computer says everything is working fine then they stop there. Obviously if I am bringing the car back there is a problem but they won’t use human intelligence they use the computer. Sad how they feel a machine is smarter than a human mechanic. Needless to say I’m not happy with their service or the follow up. It appears they only follow up with happy customers. The unhappy ones get no phone call-interesting huh? Go to another service dealer......

I fist called 2 days ago to confirm if they had a part in stock they confirmed it was available and ready for pick up. I drove over 1 hr in LA traffic. Once I was showed I spoke to a young man and he confirmed the part was not available I explained that I had called earlier and they told me it was in stock he then asked me who I spoke to and I did not have a name. After venting my frustration of me driving 1 hr to get to dealer he answer was "what are you getting at". At that time another young man by the name of Jair jumped in and tried to defuse the situation , he was apologetic and ordered the part for me; as I made my way to the cashier I noticed it was the incorrect part that he was ordering .. I came back to the counter and told him the wrong part was ordered. 2 days later I receive the part and it is the incorrect one, I call back Jair answered the phone, I asked to speak to a manager then he placed me on hold for 3 min came back and said the manager was in a meeting but he will send me the correct part. I asked for the managers info his name is Manny 213234-2151, I immediately call back and I guess Manny answered the phone , As I attempt to explain my situation hes answer was WHAT''S UP ? I paused and paraphrased he said "YA WHAT's UP what do you need". I told him that was not a professional way to speak to a customer he said I am the manager what do you need. I disconnected the line and decided to take time to write this. I will never buy anything from that dealer.

Went in for a oil change I was told by Joseph Vargas that I would get a complimentary car wash. I get home and I notice dust wipes on my car. They did not wash my car they just wiped it down. That is absolutely unacceptable. I had Kia before Honda and not even Kia does that. Kia always washed my car for free. Didn't expect something like that from Honda because I thought Honda was better than Kia. But Honda especially at Honda world is very unprofessional. I will not get service there again nor will I recommend it. My next car will probably be a beamer. You get what you pay for I guess.

I came here through my truecar.com inquiry. They are able to respond right away. Actually almost at an instant after i submitted my inquiry. So I was inquiring about the new 2018 honda accord sports. And a I was quoted a selling price of $23,800, they even sent me an email confirmation. They caught my attention right away bec the lowest i got so far was $24k+ so i asked if i may see my options for the monthly payment, the lady i was talking to said to come by and she will let me talk directly to the sales manager so it would be much quicker and straight forward. This place is pretty far away from my house. So before i agreed to come, i told her what i was getting from the honda dealer i ALWAYS go to. I told them they have made an official offer to me of $770 down and $299/mo for a lease. She said she will be able to make a great offer for me. So i went to the dealer...
Now i arrived at this place, very small dealership, there is not even a sign for parking so i had to guess a parking spot. When i came inside the lady i was talking to over the phone is on lunch or break so is not available to greet me. So a salesman said he will help me out. He even borrowed an office so he can talk numbers with me. So i dont want any BS and went straight to the numbers and asked if they can beat my current offer. An sales manager came by as well and bith wer talking to me. When i said i currently have an offer for $299/mo.+tax they immediately said "wow that imposible". So i ask how much they can offer me. Now before the salesman talked numbers, he pulled an old credit report which i have no idea wer he got. And went down to talk about some of the old credit cards i have there... the sales man was like "what happened here to this credit card? You wer late on your payments?" So i responded that i am not going to go over my credit history with you guys (because not a single one in my 8x cars buying history was i asked about my history). I know this trick! this is where they will put you down, and make you feel bad about your credit, then you are going to feel like you cant even get a loan, then they will give you the good news that you qualify! But they will jack up the interest rate and take advantage of you. So what i told the guy that my credit has been runned already and im in the teir 1 (high rating) credit rating so no need to explain this to me.
So when their numbers came up, i was quoted $1000 down and $335/mo. I said no and im already looking for my drivers license that they took from me. I told them that i already drove all the way to get to their dealership and i dont have time to negotiate anymore because i already have an offer.
NOW HERE IS THE WORST PART:
When i looked at their offer sheet, they didnt have the $23,800 selling price they promised me. It was in the $24,800, i told them this is inacurate. The salesman came back and said "oh i see now, the true car price we gave you didnt include this (BS) fee.... after you add it, it totaled up to $27,000, so our $24k offer is much better". Now lets stop for a second here. I already know i would never give my business here because it is just full of lies in here. That "(BS)" fee i was talking about, i have no idea what they called it, it was something like "accessory something fee"???? No its not an accessory that was added to the car, it was just a completely BS fee! Why would anyone buy something higher than the msrp?
i had enough with the BS and said i am leaving, and their final word to me... "you know if i am getting an offer for $299 i would take it right away" in a sarcastic way, bec they dont believe me. So i responded "you are right, im heading there right now" and i left.
So for an update, after leaving this place and goin to my original dealer, they wer even able to lower it down to $268/mo.
So what the lesson learned? Never coming back to Ocean Honda Whittier! Already told my friends my experience and just laughed at the experience i had. No referrals for sure!

I called and asked how could i synchronize my cell phone with the screen of my honda car purchased at this dealership. I was told to go to this honda to get it done as they could not explain to me over the phone. So i drove 27 miles to this honda. When i arrived there i was told that they were not able to do the service. I consider this fraud, i called to complain and the responsable manager told me he would contact me as soon as he had an answer on how to do it. I was never contacted. Definitely i will never buy a car here again.

This was by far the easiest and absolute best car buying experience I've ever had. I usually dread visiting car lots and being chased around by dealers, or even worse being ignored because I'm not dressed sharp enough! (I'm talking about you cerritos nissan!) Well this was much different, we got to browse the cars on our own and when we were ready, we were warmly greeted by Frank, our salesman. He pointed out all the great features on the Civic we were considering and then we took it on a test drive. He never tried to talk us into a more expensive model, or adding a bunch of extras, he just let us get the model we wanted and gave us a great price we couldn't refuse. When it came to the paper work, it was smooth sailing and their financing even beat our credit unions interest rate. We were then sent to Art who patiently explained our contracts and additional warranty coverage, and got to watch us sign all of our official documents. He never made us feel like big idiots if we didn't consider additional coverage. (I'm talking to you again cerritos nissan!) We were also congratulated many times by various sales people, including Richard the sales manager. This is a dealership who knows the Honda name sales itself and won't try to pressure you in any way. Therefore I highly recommend Community Honda of Whittier! You rock!!!
