Everyone I dealt with was professional and extremely friendly. I went into the dealership expecting to need a cosigner for a loan on a car but they worked really hard to make it possible for me to get a loan on my own and keep the monthly payments at what I said was personally affordable. There was no need for negotiating or getting multiple quotes, which is what I've dealt with at other dealerships. The first offer they came to me with was what I needed. I was able to get the car I really wanted, (which has never been an option for me for multiple reasons) at a price I could afford, without a cosigner, which also I never thought would be possible. They helped me accomplish a personal goal. I never post reviews (horrible I know) but I cannot express enough how amazing my experience here was and if someone thinks the way I did about trying to get a new car hopefully this will encourage them to try!

If it allowed for zero stars I would. Tim Valdivia is a misogynistic, entitled, and for lack of a better term xxxxxxx. Who has risen into a management position based solely on being employed here so long. Not on merit or skill. Especially not people skills. Zero regard for customers time and money.
Got a oil change at this location a few months ago and by some miracle my gasket didn't blow sooner. My oil filter was replaced on top of the seal of my old oil filter. Which when adding the new filter would have cause a concern as to why it was so tight to secure it back in. But it passed to their standards. Drove it for a while. Finally it blew and I leaked all the oil out. Had a flow of oil running down my driveway. To my luck the last bit of oil in the engine had leaked all over my driveway. Why is this lucky, because I didn't have to tow it home(added cost). And as of now I have no signs of engine trouble. Who knows what kind of trouble I may have in the future due to this incident.
All this happened on a Sunday evening. Tried contacting the service department but it had already closed. I changed my oil, so that I may drive the car if I needed to take it in and prevent further damage. Having work the following day, Monday, I decided best to deal in person and took my lunch hour to visit the location. Did not have the vehicle with me because it is my secondary car. Tim wasn't there either but a person on the management team assisted me, said he would look into meeting my demands.
My demands were to reimburse me for my original oil change and compensate me the monetary value of another oil change. I didn't not want a future free oil change because I have no trust in the services here. Total would have been a little under $200. It's a truck so most oil changes run at about $120. Got the original oil change at a discount due to a flyer they send local residents.
I didn't think my demands where unreasonable, especially because if I had been stranded elsewhere from home I would need a tow reimbursement. I wasn't including the $350 powerwash my driveway needed. So far no engine trouble. But that cost will be theirs to if any arise due to their service. Could have gone a lot worst. Would have owed me a new truck.
Tim received me with a attitude before I even spoke to him. Only offered me the reimbursement not the compensation. I made no scene, but I did make it know to Tim that I am sure if I had been a man he would have treated me differently. Which he denied. But because I am a woman who takes care of her own car has encountered this same attitude from men before. You can just spot the microaggressions. I also made it know that this establishment is know to be the worst Toyota dealer in the San Fernando Valley. Which is true. Talk to any local and they know they only go there because it is the only Toyota deal servicing the West Valley and Northridge area if you don't want to travel or can't travel far.
I don't blame the employees here for such a bad reputation. It is people like Tim, in management, that make this place so xxxxty. Tim is of a bygone era of car and customer service that no longer is acceptable and never should have been acceptable in the car industry. He needs to be replaced. It is an era where the consumer is knowledgeable. Regardless of gender or race. People know what a car needs. They know shady mechanics practices. They are aware of what their rights to respect and service are.
Don't come here. Not worth the discount flyer. Not worth the time. Now I have to take the time out of my day to file small claims court documents and all the other hassle of cleaning up their dirty work. Know your worth and add tax. Because they sure don't value you. They just value money.

I filled out the request for vehicle availability from Cars.com. Simi Valley dealership responded within minutes and said the car was indeed available, same VIN same stock number. To my surprise the dealership quoted me $4,000.00 more than what is listed on cars.com. When I asked why the difference in price they said they didn’t know how cars.com gets access to their listings. I was speechless it wasn’t a problem before when they got my information from cars.com, then they tell me to check for current pricing on their own dealerships website. I can’t believe I can’t find a legitimate business and Simi Valley Toyota just blamed cars.com for having the wrong price. Hopefully more people see this before being ripped off by Simi Valley Toyota. I don’t get the blame game between cars.com and Simi Toyota. I told Chey she needed to make sure her dealership clears up the mishap of pricing on the cars.com website. She said they would immediately work on it. It's been a couple of days and they still have the click bait add on cars.com. I guess that is the way they do fraudulently get you to call them. One of them is wrong and just out to rip-off people make sure they don’t rip you off.

Dealer is very shady. They sent the wrong part, agreed to have it sent back and a refund issues. Then I called and emailed many times to get a hold of Oscar and he never responded, even after he agreed to refund me for the wrong part and blamed the mix up on the parts department. Now, after getting Toyota Corp involved, they are breaking their promise, saying the part never came from their dealership, even though it did! So beware of this shady dealer. I’ll be calling Toyota Corp again and filing another complaint and also disputing the charge with my bank if they don’t not refund me within the next 24 hours.
