Took my 2017 Ford Escape in for a routine oil change this morning, 2 hours later I was about to leave but noticed the air conditioning wasnt blowing cold air. Long story short, an employee, John Karanopoulos from Service department came out and squeezed me in for my car to be checked even though he didn't have to considering they were short staffed and had other cars to tend to. It took several hours, but he got a diagnosis for me and even had the problem fixed same day. He kept me updated as promised. I really appreciate his customer service, i would definitely do business with the service department again because of him. Thanks to all service department staff for their awesome customer service! For the last month I have been looking for a SUV for my wife. It has been a constant struggle because what she wants and what she could afford were two different things. I had spoken to multiple dealerships and they either gave me outrageous monthly payment options or didn’t even respond. We looked at used we look at different models but, in the end, she was set on a Ford Explorer, and because she rarely asks for anything, I’m always determined to get her what she wants when she does.
Yesterday 7/22/2020 I was sitting at work mentally exhausted, and I went onto KKB, to take a look. I found a base model 2020 Ford Explorer and started a chat; the chat didn’t go to long and they asked me if I could have some one from Perry Ford of Poway contact me. I said sure but through email only. (recommend doing the same with all dealers because this way you have a trail). I was contacted by Omar. Now here’s the Kicker! Omar sends me a simple email. Hello, I hear you are looking for a Ford Explorer . I replied back with everything. Credit scores monthly payment and trade in amount and the amount we had to put down. Omar replies back within minutes. With a complete break down all within in our budget and saving us around 3000.00 on money down. That alone was a gift because Technically I already exposed myself by telling him how much we were willing to put down and he didn’t take advantage of that. Thank you, Omar, for that…
We get to the dealership and Omar was very knowledgeable of the Ford Explorer, and what was cool is he focused and explained everything to my wife, and that’s how it should be, because she was the one buying it. Then in the financing part where most costs increase (You all know what I mean!) lol Ali the finance guy save us even more money! Now I know you can’t please everyone, but Omar and Ali did a great job with us. Not only did they get my wife into a 2020 Ford Explorer. The got her into one that had everything she wanted! Ali is hands down the best sales rep EVER!! I bought my first Ford in 2016 and came back in 2021 when it was time to trade in, specifically for him!! We had moved to AZ but came back on the basis of what an honest and smooth sale he provides!! He makes it completely comfortable (yes it’s possible for a car sale to be comfortable), from the test drive to not pushing you past your limits! You tell him your goal, and he tries to get you as close to it as possible. YOU are the focus, not the car. And that’s why I will continue to refer my friends to him. Buying a car during the pandemic is certainly a unique experience and Allen Kessler went above and beyond to make it safe and easy. When we arrived Allen showed us the car we were interested in and walked us through the features. Within 10 minutes we were on the road for a solo test drive. We talked numbers and arrived at what we all felt was a fair deal, but left to take some time to think it over. No pressure and no expectations. A few hours later he followed-up with a check-in phone call and we decided to purchase the vehicle. When we arrived back at Encinitas Ford the car was washed, filled with gas and was waiting for us up front. Allen helped set-up financing with Doug in under 45 minutes and we were on the road shortly after with our new Mustang. We were impressed by the precautions and procedures taken by Encinitas Ford to ensure the safety of all guests and we truly appreciated how helpful, friendly and considerate the staff was during our entire car buying experience. Bought a brand new mustang gt from this dealer ship, 2 weeks later I took the wheels off to do some cleaning and I noticed the tires has cords poking through them. I then went to the dealer shop to talk to them about it, one of the sales person told me that all the mangers were busy atm even tho there is literally no one, not one customer. So he told us to wait...for 2 hours. So I'm just leaving my mistakes here so you can learn from it. Once they sold u the car this dealer wants nothing to do wit you not even customer service... update after hours of being busy the manager finally saw my review and decided to confront saying "why are you bashing on my name?" Just so u know till this point he still hasn't asked if I'd been helped yet. So Ik your reading mr manager I'm sorry for saying the truth straight to ur face. Apologies
