Probable the biggest Subaru dealership around I was very pleased with there stock of Ascents. If your looking to get a great deal on a reliable efficient vehicle then you should start here. My sales rep was really nice and genuine he even let me test drive it all the way home so I could show my wife and gave us a full tour of all the bells and whistles. They worked with me and my credit to ensure that I got the best deal possible. Hands down best dealer I’ve ever been too!

Frank Subaru seems to be too busy. You have to wait 1-2 weeks for an appointment (even for an oil change). Don't wait there for the oil change unless you have 3+ hours.
I no longer ask for the free car wash during service, as they ALWAYS forget to do it.
Had to go there 8 times for same electrical problem. They never bothered to call Subaru Engineering. When I went to Kearny Mesa Subaru, they did call in the engineers and found the root causes of my issues.
The people are friendly enough at Frank Subaru service dept. However, the technical knowledge or expertise seems to be lacking.
To wait weeks just for very average service is not worth it anymore.

I have had two out of two ridiculous and terrible experiences at this dealer for Subaru services and I will not be returning. The service department is a complete mess and totally incompetent when it comes to basic appointments and communication. As a result I 1) had to visit the dealer twice in two days to replace my brake pads and 2) waited six days to replace a tire and spent an extra $150 that would have been covered by the dealer had I gone to Frank Subaru instead. In particular, Cheyne at the service department was so laughably unhelpful and difficult to contact that I had more success working with Williams Subaru in Lansing, Michigan. It would probably be less hassle and frustration to literally drive 2000 miles away for service than it would be to ever use Kearny Mesa Subaru again.

This is a late review for the experience of buying a car by Subaru Puente Hill in Hacienda Heights in March 2018. After my friend bought a Subaru car by other dealer, we stopped by this dealer to have a look of the car. We didn't set any appointment for that day. When we got there, Kyle Harmon friendly greeted us, showed us the cars and took us for a ride. He spent his time to explain us the advantage of this car and answered all the questions. He was so patient and knowledgeable. We decided to buy a car there. At the second time we got there, Mr. Li (Xiao Mi, who speaks Chinese, too) has helped us gone through the purchase process. Both Kyle Harmon and Mr. Li are very professional. It was nice experience to buy the car there. If other friends want to buy Subaru cars, definitely we will recommend them to this dealer. Poor service during recall repair. - San Bernardino Fail
We took our Impreza for a recall repair on our valve springs and when our car was returned the service engine light was on,the traction control light was on and the cruise control indicator symbol was on. We returned to the dealership and the service person tried all kinds of excuses to put the blame on us. They took the car to the back and found a broken spark plug and would not tell us anything else.

My girlfriend and I were in the market for a 2019 WRX Premium 6MT. We were in contact with Ocean Subaru of Fullerton (OSF) in regards to pricing. On our way to to run some errands in the OC, we stopped by OSF to check out the car. Josh Teets was our salesperson and he was able to get good pricing on the car before TTL. We decieded to pull the trigger on it since it was a good price before TTL. My plan was to pay $3k on my credit card (to get points) and my girlfriend would pay personal check. Josh instructed us that we BOTH needed to fill out a form online. I looked at the form and it was a credit app. I told him we're not filling that out since it's a hard credit pull and we already have funding. He said I needed to fill out that form to verify it's me. I found that odd, since I can walk into Best Buy and pay for a $7k TV on my credit card and i dont't to fill out any forms with my SSN to "verify it's me". Josh says he won't take my credit card, but will take her personal check, but she still needs to fill out the form. We refuse again. He tells us it's for OFAC verification (if you don't know what that is check out articles by Bankrate). Next he says he needs our SSN for the DMV registration, also WRONG. Another round of back and fourth and we agree to go to finance and bring a cashier's check in 3 days for his protection and ours (sure, ok fair enough). We get to finance and the price of the car is different then what Josh and I agreed upon. The finance guy also says that price should be finanzled in your loan app. I told him we're not filling out a loan app. We walk out of there and Josh comes to my car in the street and i told him he's wasting my time. I asked him bluntly, "What is the amount you need OTD to buy this car with cashier's check?". He replies frustrated and has to go back inside "check if this deal is worth it anymore". We leave.
I went to Subaru Pacific and they glady took my credit card, girlfriend's cashiers check and without any sort of credit check or to "verify it's us". ALL we provided was ID. We were in/out of the dealer in 90min. No drama.
