Several years ago I posted a less than complimentary review of Jaguar Carlsbad and here I am again. I sincerely believe the dealership has excelled in many ways and has become the luxury car service center we expect for our Jaguar and Land Rover cars. I believe in credit (or not) where it is due.
My Jaguar had a Check Engine Light illuminate and was also about due for its annual service. I made had an appointment for 10:30 and arrived early. In less than ten minutes we were logged in and our Service Advisor, Mark Burrow, carefully listened to my concerns and appropriately determined the right course of action for repairs and scheduled maintenance. Within twenty minutes we were assigned a new Range Rover loaner vehicle (My Jaguar is still under warranty and included maintenance) and were on our way for the day.
Mark called to advise that a sensor was bad and they had to order it and it would hopefully be in the next day. I received another call the following day indicating the vehicle was repaired, serviced and ready to go. I explained we had flooded roads that were impassible and would not be able to get in until the following morning; Mark assured that was fine.
We picked up the car and it was in pristine condition. Even with the miserable weather it was washed and clean. Ran as it should and the inside was clean as always.
I know this is a very busy service department as there are only two dealers in San Diego County. Not only does Mark make us feel as valued customers but as friends as well.
Finally, this dealer has a new service manager, Travis Gale. I think this is a great step up for the dealership et al. Looking forward to a long sales and service relationship.

Loved this location and my experience here. I do not feel like anyone was trying to sale me on anything, but made me feel comfortable to ask questions and look at the cars I went in to see. Very professional, patient and loved everyones personable interactions. Have not had this good of service, ever! Daryl Docarmo was my sales rep and sold my parents their car as well. Highly recommend him for any purchases! And the finance department man (I can not remember his name) was super helpful and straight forward when financing my car.

I love my new Range Rover Velar! I got exactly the car I've been looking for….black exterior with white interior. I have been driving it for less than a month, and it's a great car that I highly recommend. What made the whole car buying process so easy was because of my sales advisor Robert Muneton. He was very friendly, kind and patient. He made me feel like he had my best interest at heart. He diligently searched his inventory and found the specific color scheme that I wanted at a deal that could not be matched anywhere else. I have had many car buying experiences in the past and have dealt with many sales reps. Although they are predominantly friendly, Robert made me feel like he actually cared about what I wanted and how to get it. So thank you again for the great service and a great car!

Finally have the car of my dreams are Range Rover bring it to the Serrito‘s dealership to have new emblems put on it my appointment was at 9:30 they didn’t start working on my car till a quarter till 11 it is now 1230 it is still not done everybody you talk to Send you to somebody else if you’re going to run that far behind you need to have the common courtesy to call people and let them know that first thing in the morning

For the amount of $$ I spent on this car, I expected the common courtesy of at least a comment or two in acknowledgement of the difficulties any car problem causes it owner. Perhaps a simple "I'm sorry to hear that you are having a problem" would help, but these people act like you are imagining your issues, they are defensive when questioned on the BS they are trying to feed you, and that the car never has problems. I'm not as troubled by the annoying problems i have experienced with my Land Rover Discovery in the first 10,000 miles as i am the condescending, dismissive attitude. I wish there was another dealership close by. It just seems this is a toxic environment and I don't feel confident that my vehicle will be repaired correctly the first time.
Potential Waste of Time - cpan
There's probably a reason why other's have given them a 1 star. I was interested in an Evoque and reached out to get some preliminary estimates. Got a phone call back after a week to try and convince me to come in and take a test drive. When I mentioned that I'd like an estimate beforehand, they mentioned that they "don't do numbers over the phone". It just doesn't make sense for me to drive down and waste 2 hours of my life to test drive a car that I may or may not buy because the pricing doesn't make sense. They definitely try to play this game, and I'm not interested in wasting everyone's time.

Best experience I have had buying a car. Having moved from the UK at the start of the year I purchased my first car in the US around 6 months ago which was a high pressure sale. However this was totally the opposite, enjoyable and relaxing. This was mostly because Michael Goldstien was the most patient and understanding rep I have ever met, he helped me to get a lovely Range Rover Sport HSE even with my zero credit score due to the fact I have only just got a social security.
