Bought a used 2016 gmc yukon xl. Took it in for a faulty brake light. It was replaced with a used one with scuff marks. Disappointed when I called and asked for a new light. I was told they usually replace lights with used ones. Big safety issue.

He hung up on me!! I called to cancel my maintenance agreement because I am moving to a different city and does not make sense to me to drive back to get an oil change; it will cost me more.

It's not my fault the sales guy or the other finance guy informed me the maintenance could be performed at any Honda across the country. He called me a liar.
Plus, my first two visits to the service department of Honda Cars of Corona, I go in for OIL CHANGE I leave with a scratch across the car. Luckily they can't call me a liar on this one because I got invoices and pictures.
My first car was a Honda Civic my second was an Accord and my third and current is a Civic. There is no way I will be getting a 4th Honda after this experience.

SHADY-DECEITFUL-UNETHICAL-KINGS OF PASSING THE BUCK - Exposer
I bought my car one month ago. I found a charge on my contract for $379.80 for accessories. When I returned to the dealership to ask what items the charge was for I was sent from one department to the next with each department representative really not knowing what the charge was for but still offering some sort of conjured up guess. It was suggested on three different occasions perhaps the charge was for wheel locks. My car has hubcaps. That must be their go to answer when they're discovered DECEPTIVELY slipping in extra charges that aren't part of the negotiated deal. I've returned to the dealership four times within the last 30 days just to be routed from the service dept to finance to my salesman to a sales manager. My salesman gave me a ridiculous explanation after speaking to a sales manager off the sales floor, saying they had to put something on that line for accounting purposes. Really? Well, if that was the case they could have put $1 not $379.80. The finance manager explained the charge wasn't from the finance dept and I should ask my salesman. Why would I talk to my salesman again when he clearly doesn't have the authority to do anything about it and he gave me the lamest explanation to date? I went back a week later and spoke with a sales manager who took my name and number but never investigated or called me back. My guess...he promptly wadded up the paper with my contact info and tossed it in the circular bin. All parties I spoke with acted as if this accessory charge was some kind of enigma and they weren't empowered to rectify the problem or give a refund. Why the run around? I believe they were hoping I would just tire of their antics and drop my quest for a valid explanation.
Finally, today I spoke with a new sales manager. He pulled up my deal on his computer and within five minutes the mystery was solved. He showed me on the computer screen I was charged for a cargo tray which was NEGOTIATED AND INCLUDED in the price of the car. It's mighty peculiar that none of the employees on my previous visits could tell me what that pesky charge was for. Apparently, this new sales manager missed the meeting when RSM Honda discussed how to MISLEAD and BAMBOOZLE their customers.
Oddly, not one employee I have dealt with regarding this matter has the authority to refund the SNEAKY OVERCHARGE, all claiming I need to talk to yet another person whom always, coincidentally, has the day off.
My overall experience with Rancho Santa Margarita Honda has left me with the foul taste of DISHONESTY, DEVIOUSNESS AND UNETHICAL CONDUCT in my mouth.

Went in for a oil change I was told by Joseph Vargas that I would get a complimentary car wash. I get home and I notice dust wipes on my car. They did not wash my car they just wiped it down. That is absolutely unacceptable. I had Kia before Honda and not even Kia does that. Kia always washed my car for free. Didn't expect something like that from Honda because I thought Honda was better than Kia. But Honda especially at Honda world is very unprofessional. I will not get service there again nor will I recommend it. My next car will probably be a beamer. You get what you pay for I guess.

I came here through my truecar.com inquiry. They are able to respond right away. Actually almost at an instant after i submitted my inquiry. So I was inquiring about the new 2018 honda accord sports. And a I was quoted a selling price of $23,800, they even sent me an email confirmation. They caught my attention right away bec the lowest i got so far was $24k+ so i asked if i may see my options for the monthly payment, the lady i was talking to said to come by and she will let me talk directly to the sales manager so it would be much quicker and straight forward. This place is pretty far away from my house. So before i agreed to come, i told her what i was getting from the honda dealer i ALWAYS go to. I told them they have made an official offer to me of $770 down and $299/mo for a lease. She said she will be able to make a great offer for me. So i went to the dealer...
Now i arrived at this place, very small dealership, there is not even a sign for parking so i had to guess a parking spot. When i came inside the lady i was talking to over the phone is on lunch or break so is not available to greet me. So a salesman said he will help me out. He even borrowed an office so he can talk numbers with me. So i dont want any BS and went straight to the numbers and asked if they can beat my current offer. An sales manager came by as well and bith wer talking to me. When i said i currently have an offer for $299/mo.+tax they immediately said "wow that imposible". So i ask how much they can offer me. Now before the salesman talked numbers, he pulled an old credit report which i have no idea wer he got. And went down to talk about some of the old credit cards i have there... the sales man was like "what happened here to this credit card? You wer late on your payments?" So i responded that i am not going to go over my credit history with you guys (because not a single one in my 8x cars buying history was i asked about my history). I know this trick! this is where they will put you down, and make you feel bad about your credit, then you are going to feel like you cant even get a loan, then they will give you the good news that you qualify! But they will jack up the interest rate and take advantage of you. So what i told the guy that my credit has been runned already and im in the teir 1 (high rating) credit rating so no need to explain this to me.
So when their numbers came up, i was quoted $1000 down and $335/mo. I said no and im already looking for my drivers license that they took from me. I told them that i already drove all the way to get to their dealership and i dont have time to negotiate anymore because i already have an offer.
NOW HERE IS THE WORST PART:
When i looked at their offer sheet, they didnt have the $23,800 selling price they promised me. It was in the $24,800, i told them this is inacurate. The salesman came back and said "oh i see now, the true car price we gave you didnt include this (BS) fee.... after you add it, it totaled up to $27,000, so our $24k offer is much better". Now lets stop for a second here. I already know i would never give my business here because it is just full of lies in here. That "(BS)" fee i was talking about, i have no idea what they called it, it was something like "accessory something fee"???? No its not an accessory that was added to the car, it was just a completely BS fee! Why would anyone buy something higher than the msrp?
i had enough with the BS and said i am leaving, and their final word to me... "you know if i am getting an offer for $299 i would take it right away" in a sarcastic way, bec they dont believe me. So i responded "you are right, im heading there right now" and i left.
So for an update, after leaving this place and goin to my original dealer, they wer even able to lower it down to $268/mo.
So what the lesson learned? Never coming back to Ocean Honda Whittier! Already told my friends my experience and just laughed at the experience i had. No referrals for sure!

This was by far the easiest and absolute best car buying experience I've ever had. I usually dread visiting car lots and being chased around by dealers, or even worse being ignored because I'm not dressed sharp enough! (I'm talking about you cerritos nissan!) Well this was much different, we got to browse the cars on our own and when we were ready, we were warmly greeted by Frank, our salesman. He pointed out all the great features on the Civic we were considering and then we took it on a test drive. He never tried to talk us into a more expensive model, or adding a bunch of extras, he just let us get the model we wanted and gave us a great price we couldn't refuse. When it came to the paper work, it was smooth sailing and their financing even beat our credit unions interest rate. We were then sent to Art who patiently explained our contracts and additional warranty coverage, and got to watch us sign all of our official documents. He never made us feel like big idiots if we didn't consider additional coverage. (I'm talking to you again cerritos nissan!) We were also congratulated many times by various sales people, including Richard the sales manager. This is a dealership who knows the Honda name sales itself and won't try to pressure you in any way. Therefore I highly recommend Community Honda of Whittier! You rock!!!
