I had my car serviced at Eby Ford this week and it was a pleasure interacting with Scott. He kept me informed on the repair issue. I was sick today when the car was ready and we settled the bill over the phone. Scott had the car delivered to my home. Scott is a real asset to the service department and is commended for his performance.
Overcharged - dpitchers
Took my 2015 Ford Expedition in for the A/C blower motor not working. I informed the service desk as to what parts had already been replaced. The issue was a bad wire harness but the service tech decided to replace another part that had was new and I was charged for this part. Also was charged for 1.5 hours of service that took the technician 30 minutes. Total ripoff. In closing I was charges the following,
1. $119.69 for a part that did not need to be replaced.
2. $217.50 for 1.5 hours of work that only took 30 minutes.
3. $55.76 for the wire harness that was the bad part.
4. $19.65 for miscellaneous charges (No explanation as to what this is).
My total came to $424.88 with tax. My recommendation.....Find another Ford service department if you can.

They have had my suv going on two weeks. They transmittion went out on it even though it is a 2007. Yes it is under warranty but I do not have coverage for a rental car. I have asked numerous times for a loaner car. I am always told "I am sorry we do not have any avaible at this time. Mean while I am paying for a rental car. I am up to $150.00 so far. I have now been told it will be maybe Wednesday of this week ( 9-29-10). That is another $90.00+. The least you can do is pay for my rental.

I wish I had read these reviews before taking my car here. Stay far away as possible. Had to take my car here because the person who was at fault had USAA insurance and this is their preferred provider. They fixed the front of my car fine. But also somehow damaged the sides, and broke off my antenna. They tried to tell me it was like that even though looking at the photos you can see it wasn't. Now I have to take my time and go through small claims court. I will continue to warn as many people as I can to stay away from blossom on shadeland.

Hello, all! If you're reading these reviews, I bet you're probably in the market for a new vehicle. Well, I'm not here to tell you if Gates is the place for your new purchase, but I am quite prepared to say you should never try to get a vehicle serviced at this dealership!
I came to Gate and attempted to have my low-mileage, under-warranty vehicle diagnosed for a knocking sound. After a 2.5 hour wait (was told 1 hour, and watched another customer enter, get service, a loaner, and leave before me) a serviceman approached me and outright refused to diagnose the issue, stating their refusal was due to 'snow on the ground', and that I should come back when it's nicer outside. Seriously! As soon as I left their service center and hit the road at 20mph, the knocking was CLEARLY audible! After calling the service center to set a date and time *they* find appropriate, and not being given one, I requested to speak to the floor manager. The gentleman I spoke to was very pleasant and helpful, but said he could not arrange a diagnostic until the following week, which I found unacceptable.
I'm sure their salesman are quite genial and the deals superb, but I would suggest staying away from their service center: they seem selective about who they want to serve and who they do not.

I took my 2003 Taurus in for replacement of tie rods, as diagnosed by another Ford dealership. As it turned out the tie rods were fine, but the sway bar was bad. This saved me several hundred dollars!!
The service department employees are knowledgeable, honest, and timely.
I will be returning!
Poor Customer Service - Joe Peru
I dont know about their sales, but I would stay away from their service department. Took my minivan in for new brakes, tires, and shocks. All most all of the parts were incorrectly replaced. The wrong tires were changed and the shocks were never installed. I took it back to the dealership and it ended up taking over a month to get it straightened out and I still ended up replacing tires that did not need to be replaced out of pocket.
