I showed up without an appointment, not hoping for service, but just hoping they could at least look at the part I need and order it so I don't have to come back twice. They reluctantly told me they would, but then never came out. How rude! I had a my baby in the car too, the other service department is much friendlier.

Back in the summer I called for an appointment to look at strange brown dots in my new Accent's paint. I left work and drove all the way from Winchester to make the appointment. When I get there I'm informed that the guy that handles warranty issues isn't here and they don't know when he'll be back. They could've told me that when I made the appointment. The first guy I saw even acted as if there was nothing wrong with my paint and the second guy could see the problem but couldn't identify the issue. Weeks passed and the warranty guy never showed. I did receive a couple of calls from the service department telling me that they would call when they knew the warranty guy's schedule. After those two calls I never heard from them again. After two months I took my car to Gates Hyundai of Richmond. The problem was quickly identified as rail dust and the next day I was picking my car up free from the brown spots. It's been 4 or 5 months now. Had I not gone to Gates, I would still be waiting.

Came in to Louisville for the weekend and the first night we ended up with a flat tire on our new Palisade. I called the dealership first thing in the morning and spoke to Jason in Parts who located a replacement tire quickly even though it wasn't in stock. Dustin was my service advisor and he got me back on the road in no time. I couldn't have asked for a more efficient and quicker service than what I received from Dustin. The ease of making an appointment online was my first clue that this dealership understands their customers' busy lives. That was confirmed when I arrived and was promptly greeted and asked if I wanted the shuttle service to take me somewhere. Even though I work over 20 miles away, their response was, "No problem!" The shuttle driver, Doyle, was a gentleman. The real deal. I enjoyed our brief chat and his courtesy and kindness.

Absolutely the worst service experience of my life. They never answer the phone. They have zero care about the customer. They would love nothing more than the chance to attempt to challenge your intelligence. After 5 visits and 3 months their superb intellect and care fixed absolutely nothing. If you need management involved they will be of no help. If you fell as though your warranty protects you do not visit this dealership unless you want a handful of regret and empty promises. If you are considering this dealership for anything I would look elsewhere. I thought sales mgmt would be of some assistance and even though initially it seemed promising again only a facade. I doubt this review will have a large impact however I hope others are treated with more respect/integrity than I was. I have a list of complaints and documentation over the past months as well as corporate complaints with nothing but discouragement and disappointment. Their goal is to get you to give up and go away after they have billed for warranty service. They suck Hyundai dry for cash only to not fix anything and waste your time and energy. They will tell you one thing and do another. This is this poster child for old school slime ball dealers/service depts. I hope no one else is treated this way ever. I have wasted time, energy, and money only to be right were I started due to the lackadaisical attitude that seemed to permeate this dealership. They will do everything but the RIGHT thing.
