She makes every visit feel like we are visiting a good friend...and in COVID times, that has become even more important. She is a one-of-a-kind person - who you will never forget after your first time meeting her. She knows exactly what our two Prius-es need and she makes sure we have a spanking clean car all ready for us when we come for pick up. Bayside Toyota ECM recall - hayward3411
Bad experience with service department.
Took my 2006 Corolla in for a ECM recall in 2011 and after dealer inspection I was told the ECM unit was OK.
Now I failed emissions because no communication with OBD-2 port because ECM unit failed.
I removed the failed ECM unit and compared serial numbers with the recall and the ECM numbers indicate an immediate replacement.
Bayside Toyota failed to complete ECM recall properly now they offer me a "at cost replacement".
I believe they should make good the recall at no cost.
Bayside Toyota stepped up and replaced my ECM unit!!

After visiting Norris Honda and Firestone regarding a repair, I chose Graff's, as they seemed more confident about doing the job than Firestone and much less money than Norris Honda. Honda said they charged so much because their mechanics were certified - I asked because I knew the job did not take much time and the parts were not that expensive. Anyway, the job was done well by Graff's and within my budget. I recommend them.

My car was towed to Younger Toyota. It needed a new battery which they replaced. Later, I was told by my driver that went to pick it up that the car was dead when he got there and that he waited for 2 hours before someone came and jumped it. Yes, they jumped a brand new battery and didn't blink an eye or mention it to me. It is only because my driver told me that I knew. So I called and Brandon Humbertson agreed that wasn't right and offered 50% back. I thought it was at least a nice gesture. But instead of making it right, Brandon handed the chore off to Dennis Gish. After not getting the credit, I called back and they said they must have wrote the number down somewhere and lost it. So they tried again. No credit again. Called back. This time they said they must have refunded the wrong person. I wish I was joking. Again I wait and no credit back. This time Brandon used the "Well it takes the banks five days blah blah blah." What amazes me is that the simple concept of customer service teaches you that when a customer complains, that is your opportunity to do right- why would you offer to spend the money to grant a partial refund and then mess that up so bad also? I'd feel sorry for Dave Carroll the GM having to manage these guys, but he never bothered to return my call. So long story short- about a dozen calls over 3 weeks and nobody at Younger Toyota managed to keep their word or have any integrity.

I have been to this dealership three times because my 2018 Toyota Tacoma with 11,000 miles on it has a faulty braking system. When I start the engine, put it in drive and release the emergency brake, the real wheels lock. This doesn't happen every single time, but it's happened enough to have become a problem as the wheels scream attracting people who witness it to advise me to release the emergency brake, which is always released. I've got videos inside and outside the car. Passport keeps running a computer scan, which neither shows nor diagnoses the issue and now they've refused to actually look at the braking system, under the car--to do an inspection. Corporate keeps telling me that Chris Scripture, the service manager is going to call me and he keeps saying he has, but I've got no messages or evidence he tried and didn't leave a message. When I finally called and waited 20 minutes to get him on the phone, he said he couldn't duplicate the problem, and if it didn't happen to him, regardless of the videos and my documentation, he wasn't going to actually inspect the back end of the car. He basically backpedaled on everything he told Corporate. I've had three Tacomas and I purchased one at this dealership. Steer clear of this dealership. They want your money, but they have no ethics and they do not care if you are driving around with a faulty braking system.

My Chevy truck was hit since I live inEdgewood I decided to take my truck to a local dealer for repairs. I have met the owners of Thomson’s on many occasions and was impressed with their commitment to the community so I decided to use them. When I went to pick my truck up the passenger side bed fender was painted a shade darker then the rest of the truck. They tried to tell me it was due to fading, but the entire truck was just repainted two years earlier. When I brought it to their attention they said it is what it is.

We were warmly greeted by Alex, and he was very professional, kind and helpful, He was honest and helped us with everything we need it to know in regards the next maintenance schedule . We would recommend him and Toyota at Capital Plaza to anyone that we know. To all customers we would like to encourage to please don't be afraid of this pandemic. I came in right on time for my scheduled appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I pulled in and the lane attendant took my information and said a Service Advisor would come and talk to me and directed me to the customer lounge. After 45 minutes of NO ONE coming to talk to me I went in to the lane to ask. I figured I’d start with the people socializing at the desk; there was my guy! He said the car would be another hour because the shop was backed up but he’d do what he could to make it faster - like he made it a point to come talk to me at all. I explained that I’m flexible with time, I just needed to know that what I needed done he was aware of and to get an update.
While I sat in the lounge I watched several customer service flops -
1. Talking to customers while walking away from them to get to something else...
2. oh, there’s a transmission issue... it’ll be another 2 hours... with no mention or concern for the customers time
3. Sales person complaining about a customer trade in lead

May visit was horrible. Service manager horrible. Recieved car with flat. Aug visit they could not respond to the status of the car on any day. Never called me back. They had the car 3 days. They half fixed my Prius. I went to another Toyota Dealership and traded it in for a new one. People are wonderful to your face, but they offer no resolution for anything. Glad I bought a car elsewhere. They have not earned my business.

Terrible experience. After being her customer for so many year, 2 days ago they forgot to tie the bolts on the wheel and while I was driving my tire went off. They make pay 200 hundred dollars for the tow and not take responsibility for that because they put my life in darker due their irresponsibility. Really, really scary experience. The supervisor dare to say that someone else did it when DARCAR is the only place I take for years. Is very sad how they try to name on me their responsibility. Horrible service. We almost blew our engine in our Toyota Highlander Hybrid back in August 2020 because their staff member in the Parts dept. sold my husband the wrong sized oil filter. As a result of this, the engine started leaking oil while we were on a trip and we had to pay for an oil change and 4 quarts of oil. My husband has spoken with Dave, Mark, and Roberto at least 3 times and they all said they would they would refund this cost on our credit card. NOTHING HAS HAPPENED despite two trips to the parts department and multiple phone calls. And when they offered to give my husband additional oil filters to replace the wrong ones he was sold in the first place, they brought out the wrong sized ones AGAIN.
Stay away from this place -- your car's longevity is at risk! Do not trust them to sell you the right parts or make good on their promises.
