We have purchased two vehicles from Lucas Smith and have recommended two other family members who also bought vehicles from Lucas. Their entire staff is wonderful and very helpful! They are truly a no pressure dealership! Doug specifically is one of the best salesmen I have ever met and will never pressure you! He is super knowledgeable and if you want something they don't have Doug and the other staff members will work hard to find what you want!

The team at Lou Fusz was super friendly and accommodating. They answered all of my questions and solved my issue. They even offered services that I did not need, like a shuttle, but it's good to know they offer for future visits. I did have 2 minor issues when I picked up. A free car wash was offered and I said yes, I wanted to take advantage of that. The vehicle was not washed. I was also told that my old headlight bulbs, which were swapped out, were laying on the front seat. The bulbs were actually not anywhere in the vehicle. But I didn't go there for a wash and didn't need the old bulbs. But since I was told those 2 extra things were to be done, it was a little disappointing to find them not done. Probably lack of communication between the tech and customer service.

Auto Plaza Farmington is engaged in fraudulent business... - steeledj05f
Auto Plaza Farmington is engaged in fraudulent business practices, BUYER BEWARE. I bought a truck, 2018 Ram, that sat for a year, I didn’t drive it as it was too small for my needs. I Went to Autoplaza Farmington for warranty repairs, it wouldn’t start, and to sell my truck, they are advertising the opportunity to sell versus trade at higher than trade value, great the low value for my truck on trade was $42,000. While my truck was in the shop prior to appraisal I found one which would be better for my needs. My 2018 16870 mile $50,000.00 retail value fully loaded Ram Rebel from that point forward wasn’t worth anything close to trade value, around $9,000 less than kbb trade value not to mention the value to a private party. There was mention of possible “critter” damage, however they had it running with a battery and an alternator, they also said it possibly needed a radio. I asked the salesperson to retrieve my paperwork from the truck and reviewed my warranty with them to ensure that everything would be covered, other than an oft repeated “critter” damage theory. Fast forward and I didn’t get the truck I wanted, so I walked from sales to the service department for an update on the status of my truck. I was told that I had someone jumpstart the truck, wrong. I never attempted a jumpstart. The bill that was now not covered by warranty was suspiciously an exact number. $4,200.00. It’s as if they priced every part to hit exactly zero cents, no tax included, to make this bill. The bill was for the alternator, Battery, a fuse and labor I assume because that’s all they had done to that point, they never handed me a bill or itemized statement, it was verbal you owe $4,200. I am shocked at the cost of such simple work and if you figure it out I had to have paid well over $2,000 for an alternator or they charged me a labor rate of $250.00 plus an hour and doubled the hours for good measure. I was never called to tell me it was not covered by warranty, I was never asked to proceed with out of pocket expenses and never informed of any jumpstart until I asked about my truck. Auto Plaza sales and service are complicit in attempting to defraud me of thousands of dollars, either through exorbitant service costs or by devaluing my truck forcing me to sell them the truck for thousands less than actual value. Do you know what their solution they offered to remedy the fraud they attempted, take the parts off the truck, charge me $140.00 diagnostic fee and push it out the door. I have filed a complaint with the attorney generals office, if you’ve experienced similar behavior or any type of deals that seemed dishonest or like a bait and switch I encourage you to file a complaint with them as well. Honesty, truth in advertising and fairness should never be in question when dealing with any dealership.
Two weeks ago, I took my Jeep to the All Star service... - Yogi
Two weeks ago, I took my Jeep to the All Star service department for a mechanical problem. I paid $156 for a diagnostic check. I was told they couldn't find a problem but they did a software update that was generated for problems like mine.
Two days ago I had the same problem. I called them and was told I could return and pay another $156 for another diagnostic check. Their explanation was they had to pay the technician. Since they didn't find a problem (but knew the issue was a problem) , I could end up paying them multiple times for "checking" and never get a repair.
They don't seem to stand by their work and it appears they don't care.

I recently came in for a recall on my jeep, I was worried coming into the service department as I had never been here before. I was greeted immediately by a very cute man (ladies). He told me he was the assistant manager and would get me checked in. He went over the recall and made sure I knew what would be done. I waited in the waiting room while it was being worked on, everything was clean and even had snacks. I was told the recall could be around an hour. Zach came in around 45min and let me know my vehicle was completed, he walked me to my car, handed me my paper, and went over the what they did again. The whole visit was very easy and fast. Thank you!

Had a fuel pump go bad They replaced the fuel pump $900 Five days after replacement check engine light came on Took my truck to another shop they Took the codes out of the computer Five days after that check fuel cap light came on Stop at the dealer and told them what was going on Got the old cold shoulder They said to remove the fuel cap and put it back on. A couple of days later check engine light came back on and fuel cap light never went out. My truck is a Ram 1500 with only 36450 miles Took it to a friends shop and he put it up on their hoist and we found that when they replaced the fuel pump they DID NOT PLUG in some of the wires.

We took our Jeep Grand Cherokee in for work. These guys can't read basic service bulletins. They disconnected our battery to replace a solenoid in the transmission and did not remove the fuse in the radio/navigation system as advised in their own service bulletin. They refuse to admit their poor service tech training and say they didn't do it. Unbelievable! I would find another dealer for service unless you want to be out big money replacing things that they destroy and won't own up to their errors.

This place is a total joke, do your self a favor and never consider doing business with this dealership. The service department is one of the worst I have ever come across. They are inept in their ability to service the vehicle and provide quality customer care. They are impossible to get ahold of and once you do finally get ahold of someone, they will say the vehicle is ready for pickup and running fine and then it isn't. We must have been through the same issue, 10 times and they were never able to correctly identify and correct the issue. They will nickel and dime you for every single appointment regardless of whether or not they were able to fix the vehicle. Worst dealership, worst service department. Period.
Service center tries to push unnecessary items not needed... - MIKE
Service center tries to push unnecessary items not needed and intimidate customers comming in for routeen services. A truck less than 2 years old they are saying the brake fluid is bad, this is a sealed system and only goes bad if the system is opened and contaminated, Landmark is the only ons to open the cap which does not contaminate it, they were trying to charge my wife over $1,000 in services not really needed and trying to scare her into doing the unnecessary repairs. We buy new vehicles every 2 to 3 years and have been buying from landmark ovet 15 years with 3 new vehicles in the past 2 years. We have reccomended Landmark to multple people, our good friend just bought a new Jeep and two of my employees have purchase vehicles within the past 6 months at Landmark. We will be looking at a new dealership as we do not appreciate the dishonest way in which we were treated and we will reccomend anyone we meet from buying at this dealership going forwards.

I spent $860 to fix fuel leak on 2005 Dodge Dakota.... - Derek W.
I spent $860 to fix fuel leak on 2005 Dodge Dakota. Forced to leave vehicle over long weekend holiday. When I picked it up, noticed the vehicle was extremely dirty on the outside. After spending that kind of money or having any service at this location, I would think the vehicle would be cleaned…leaving a positive impression…encouraging customers to remember them in order to get return business. Fletcher definitely missed the mark on this customer.

I’m a Disabled American Female Veteran who bought a Car from this Dealership.
The Car that I bought was Truly More Money than I had Planned To Spend.
I had a few Concerns but Grown People should AGREE to sometimes Disagree and try to keep the Relationship In TACT.
When I ARRIVED at the Dealership on Memorial Day I was Ready To BE Disappointed Once Again!
But This Did NOT HAPPEN!
I was elated that the USED CAR SALESMAN made everything WRONG,
I even recommended a Customer to Look At A New Car!
Trust is SO VERY IMPORTANT and Mr. Shane the Used Car Sales Manager’s Word Was As Good AS GOLD! HE went Far and Beyond The CALL OF DUTY!
In Everything That We Partake of In Life, WE MUST FIRST GET AN UNDERSTANDING!

Best parts and service center and overall service ever! - jaclyncam
We originally bought our 2014 Dodge Ram at Olathe Dodge, we have regretted it ever since! Their service was HORRIBLE...RUDE...they sold us a truck w 14600 miles and then at 15000 miles we HAD TO HAVE A $480 repair....a fuel filter that needed replaced at 15000 whichwe were NOT aware of!...After bringing it to the attn of the service mgr he stated "too bad...it wasn't due and they're not cheap!?!??!!?" I refuse to go back...EVER!
We had to have recall work done and some "extras" put on our truck, so we tried Platte City. This was the best decision we have ever made. This is our 7th Dodge Ram Diesel and Platte City parts/service dept offered the best, most courteous, and knowledgeable service rep's ever!
I would recommend this dealer to anyone who is either looking to have something repaired, or buy!
I cannot thank them enough for actually "caring" and taking the time to correct the issues that were out of their control.
I HIGHLY recommend them and see much more business with them in the future!!!
Poor experience with service department. - Dodge owner
The service department charged $800 to replace PCM and assured me it would fix the problem. Problem returned the second time truck was driven. It was the same trouble code and exact same symptoms. James, the service adviso0,r said bring it back, they would make it right. His idea of making it right was to charge an additional $140 to fix the real problem, refuse to admit their mistake, and lied about conducting a second test of the PCM. He also lied about the real problem, saying a mouse had chewed on the wiring harness. This totally conflicted with what the polite tech who worked on my truck explained to me. General manager Preston Espinosa initially refused to do anything to help us and advised it was our fault for driving with the check engine light on. Preston was rude to my wife and advised if she raised her voice he would not be helping us at all. Preston finally agreed to refund the $195 labor and waived the $140 from the second visit. But I still paid $600 for a part I did not need. They also would not return the original part. They just seem to want their money and don't understand what honesty, integrity, and good business practice is.
