Late Sunday afternoon (July 26), I had my battery light come on just past the tolls in Southern Maine on Route 95 towing my camper with my 2010 Honda Pilot. Not a good time for a car to fail you. I arrived safely at the campground in Wells around 6pm and the car died. I knew nothing would be open so I deferred my repair plan to Monday Morning.
I called Dover Honda at 8am and spoke to Jeanine at the front desk who was very helpful. I explained what happened and asked if they could squeeze me in. She said yes and they could provide me a loaner if my car was not easily fixed. I had the vehicle towed in and arrived by 11:00am. Ken Crawford checked me in and said they would look at it as soon as possible. I was in the waiting room for about an hour. Jeanine came over and checked in with me to see how things were going. She offered to check on the status and gave me a high-level update. Ken gave me a full update shortly thereafter. Bad Alternator caused by an oil leak. He immediately got me a loaner and I was on the beach with my family by 1:30pm. As I was leaving the beach at 4:30pm, I got a call from Ken - The car was done! I picked it up later that night - Vacation Saved!
What was a very bad situation turned into a VERY positive experience thanks to the people at Dover Honda. I could not be more pleased in the way they responded to me and got the job done in a timely manner.

I bought my previous car from Xan and reached out to him again when it was time for another because of the great experience I had with him last time. This time was just as great. He listened to what I needed and what my budget was. He found me the perfect car that fit my needs and budget exactly. No high pressure sales games with him. He was respectful of my time and we came to an agreement fairly quickly on the perfect new car for my family. Rare to find someone like that now. Brought my 2016 Honda CRV that I lease in for an oil change and left purchasing another lease on a 2019 CRV. Being 73 years old and nervous about the procedure of all the paperwork Amber Collins willingly took over in my behalf the process of the transfer from the 2016 to the 2019 for me, thus making a stressful situation for me into a pleasurable one. Amber even set up my iPhone contacts so that all I have to do to make a phone call while driving is push a button, instead of trying to read the directions in the owners manual which are to confusing!!! I can't thank Amber Collins, John Desrochers and Chuck Cote (who has a look alike twin somewhere) enough for all they have done for me and for making me "feel" like I was a "family member" to them and not just another "walk in customer." Rockingham Honda is fortunate to have such ones working at that dealership!!! I can't be happier about the outcome of my whole experience.

I've had my 2018 Civic for a couple years. In that time I've put about 50k miles on it. Since I've owned the car my brakes have been replaced twice and now they they need 400$ of work (the rotors need to be resurfaced). I can't believe that a car should go through 4 sets of brakes (including the original) in that amount of time (one set of brakes lasted less than 4k miles).
When I asked the dealer for assistance I was told this was normal.

I just recently returned from a big waste of my time at this dealer to have a very simple job done on my brand new 2020 Honda Pilot Touring- I had made an appointment for purchase & installation of door edge guards.
The work, which could have been done by a modestly trained chimp in less than 30 minutes, took slightly less than 2 hours, and I actually ended up with some of the parts packaging debris in the back seat. Very classy!
A big waste of my time. Too bad that they are the closest Honda dealer to my home and I have just begun my warranty period.

Starting with the cup of coffee in the comfortable waiting area, the shuttle service, the work needed was fully explained,and all the work was completed with my total confidence the car was having the best of care! Gurney's is by far the best automotive repair shop in Nashua and the surrounding areas and I have tried a few. Their knowledge, honesty, quality and all around offerings are wonderful and set the bar high for a great experience. I would certainly recommend this repair place to service your vehicle because they don't try and sell you things you don't need. They are not the cheapest, or the most expensive, but what make up for it in their overall service.
