Don't do business with this service dept. They kept my daughters car well over a month, to install a new transmission. The first trip she took on the car (Raleigh-Charlotte) within 2 months of having the car back, it leaves my daughter and wife on the side of I85 on a Sunday. Had the vehicle towed to the subaru dealer in Concord. after waiting for a tow truck, ubering to Charlotte airport, and renting a car to get home. southern states refuses to re-imburse us for the expenses or repairs. Brian McKnerny (general mgr) states the vehicle is too old and has too many miles. This didn't stop them from replacing the transmission. A bare minimum warranty is 12 months 12k miles. we paid the repair bill in Concord, and only asked for re-imbursement of the expenses accumulated due to the failure. mr McKnerny was extremely rude and defensive when he finally got around to returning my call 2 weeks later after multiple messages had been left with his service dept. the svc mgr Todd Driver admitted they had some responsibility in the matter, but I guess he was trumped by McKnerny. They seem to have forgotten WE CHOSE to do business there. Never again!!!!!!
