I've been a loyal Toyota customer since the eighties. It started back in California when my parents owned a Toyota Crown sedan as our family car and to date I never owned any car except Toyota. I am very particular when it comes to choosing the right dealership to buy and service my Toyotas. Unfortunately there a very few Toyota dealerships out there that truly provide and demonstrate genuine Toyota Customer Service. Last week and this Tuesday, Randy Elisea demonstrated that Toyota Customer Service from the very time I walked in the door to the time I left Toyota of North Charlotte service department, Randy continuously communicated with me about the status of my vehicle. His professionalism, his excellent communication, his Honesty (no bull-sales talk), and his knowledge and passion about Toyotas espoused the true Toyota Customer Service. Good job Randy!

We brought in our 2011 Toyota Corolla to have the brakes fixed at Vann York Toyota Service. While we were waiting, we looked at the Toyota Camrys on the lot. We had been researching for our next car maybe in a year or two on the internet. When were were outside in the rain, early on a Saturday morning, James Petterson walked up to us and said hello, could he help us in any way. Well, that started a walk about, just looking. My husband, Drew, had already looked on the Vann York website to see available Camrys. We looked at used cars, then we walked up to that sleek black 2020 Toyota Camry XSE AMD. James offered a test drive. Well, that did it. James helped us purchase that wonderful car and showed us how its features worked. James even took a picture of me with my beloved Toyota Corolla for a good memory. So now, 3 weeks in, we already have stories about adventures with the 2020 Toyota Camry. We named it Zoom Zoom. No need to wonder why. Mustangs on the road challenge us, but we just drive on sedately, knowing the power is there if we so choose the Sport mode. Just purchased a 2017 Corolla in December 2020. Had it for about a week and got a code for tire pressure. Took it to AAA. All four tires were out of balance. Got a second code and took it to the mechanic. This time it is for a the Evaporator Emission System. The diagnostic was $110.68 and the repair estimate is $689. I went and had body work done and while it was there needed a oil change and inspection. He stated at body shop that they touch up the dent but there was nothing done with it. Chris Walser was the person at the body shop that lied to me. Go to pay the taxes on car and states that service department did not put my inspection in the system and called Gregory Stewart and he said that the check engine light was on and when I pick it up from the body shop the light was not on and Chris Walser said that the inspection is done and everything and we were good to go. But did not pass inspection and I had to go through all of this to find out. Also stated the battery was clean so if batter is clean why was there so much corrosion on the battery. Not good customer service. My family and I have brought over 4 cars from Modern Toyota through the years but never again. I don't trust the service department or the body ship. They do not care about you they just want your money. Told them how I felt and they said ok.

Went for required service at 20,000 miles and was told I had two very worn tires. I was told their $40,000 machine was very accurate. Scared to drive home. Went to my mechanic and he manually tested tread. All were fine. No alignment needed. He rotated the tires which Cox said they advised against doing because of wear. Bunch of Baloney!!,
