After a wreck our insurance company suggested Bill Knight collision repair as it was one of their "preferred" shops. Ignorantly, we followed the insurance carriers advice instead of doing research and selecting a shop on our own. The repairs were first promised to be complete within 10 days. It actually took 23 days, a lot of frustration, and serious bouts of high blood pressure, before we finally got our car back. During that time we were promised six different completion dates, followed by a multitude of excuses for the various delays. We had issues over the parts that were used, the promised "life time" warranty that actually does not exist, and an issue with painting. Our experience over this three week process is best described as a nightmare. The level of incompetence was simply staggering. Had it not been so frustrating, the multitude of delays would have been comical. It became my habit to wait by the phone, on the date(s) the car was supposed to be finished, to see what the next excuse would be for another delay. On the final day, after we were told the car was ready to be picked up, we traveled to the shop to find the replaced wheels on the car were not correct. The wheels on the driver side of the car were dramatically different than the wheels on the passenger side. Needless to say, my opinion about Bill Knight Collision could not be worse. We are a "Ford" family, but we will never step foot on Bill Knight's dealership again. Not to buy a vehicle and certainly not to have repairs made to any vehicle.

This is a specifically about the service department. We purchased an $85,000 BLACK LABEL Aviator in December 2020. Our sales associate was awesome so I'll review her separately. We LOVE the vehicle as well. This is completely about the service. We had high expectations with the "Black Label" program and opted for that in our vehicle partly for the service amenities. We have had 3 experiences now. All of them since July 1, 2021 and each of them have been disappointing, frustrating, and just horrific. It is like a bad reoccurring dream - I am at the three strikes, you are out. Our main contact has been Joe and he does NOT follow up on his word. I had to contact him numerous times to get situations resolved. Our first experience was a routine oil change and the problem was they charged us points when we had four "complimentary" oil changes with our purchase. Joe told me that was not right and it had changed in 2021. We were told one thing at the point of sales so we pushed back and they agreed to credit our points. It took me three follow up texts and over four weeks to get the points credited. Once I said I would be contacting the service manager to get a solution, they were easily credited within a few minutes. But why did it have to come to that ??? In the meantime, Joe told me through our texts he would send me his business card for any further service needs. He told me this multiple times. I finally had to pick it up myself when I drove in to have a tire fixed last week. He had 5 weeks to put a business card in the mail. Another example that follow up is not his strength! Back to the tire, Joe tole me the tire was fixed and it was a loose valve stem. Not so, as we literally had to add air for the next 10 days every day as it continued to leak. My husband scheduled for them to pick up the car and fix the tire for the second time. He worked with the service manager, Chris. We had a pick up time of 9:45 a.m. At 11:00 a.m, no contact and no pick up. My husband called and they are literally on their way now at 1:00 p.m. to pick up BUT in the meantime, I have altered my day to accommodate being home and available. They have NO respect for client's time, schedule or needs. I honestly can't even put into words how upset I am and explain all the details in a short review. We have been overly nice and given them every chance to fix the situation. When I have to spend my time following up for service, perhaps they should be paying me! They could at least offer something like a complimentary detail service in exchange for our bad service. I do want to say all the team (5 different people) that have come to our home to pick up and return our vehicle have been very good, mannerly and professional. I believe they work for a contract company other than Lincoln but they are great people. Again, it is the service team that is creating the hardship. I have 3 different contacts looking to purchase Lincoln SUV's this year and I cannot recommend them knowing the chaos that follows after you drive off the lot. Enjoy the vehicle but hope you NEVER have to have any maintenance as the true colors come out and they are not pretty! So sad customer service is a lost art when you spend $85,000.

Brought car in for hail damage repair in July. Still cannot get any answer when I can get my vehicle back. Going into 4 months now for $7,000 repair-something is seriously wrong with this horrible shop. This has created an untenable hardship on me to not have my vehicle for this long. May lose my job if I continue to miss work because of no vehicle. I will tell everyone I can about my unbelievable bad experience.

We purchased a used Ford F 350 truck to pull our new fifth wheel RV. The day we picked the truck up we drove from Muskogee to Oklahoma City and back again. About fifty miles down the road we briefly smelled antifreeze but thought it was coming from the car next to us. The truck ran fine without any warning lights coming on. Little did we know that a head gasket had blown. We took the truck in for service and in less than a month James Hodge Ford did over $7,000.00 in repairs at no charge. Incidentally we did not purchase an extended warranty. Each time we took the truck in we were given a loaner car with a full tank of gas to drive until the truck was returned. The service and sales manager were very customer focused and said they would be sure the truck was fixed right. The truck is now running great and seems to be up to the challenge of pulling our 13, 500 pound RV. We definitely recommend James Hodge Ford as they definitely went above and beyond to make our truck reliable and dismiss our skepticism of the truck. Thank you, Jim and Judy Durham

HIGHLY ANNOYED/INCONVENIENCED AND A WASTE OF TIME - ANNOYEDCUSTOMER

Is there a review that is LESS than a star??!! I debated whether to even write a review. I am a patient person and can handle a lot but - Oh my gosh I cannot tell you of all the problems I had with taking my car in to the shop at Joe Cooper Ford Lincoln in Edmond. Mind you I have an older car, however, I thought I was doing right by my car in taking to what I thought was a PROFESSIONAL place. First time I brought it in: Advised the service rep (will not name names) that I thought it was the Ignition Igniter according to Auto Zone, I was informed JC did there own diagnostic and I thought that was far. Well, after the diagnostic and $150 later, I was told it was the brakes that definitely needed fixing (among other maintenance, however this was believed to be the core issue). Ok, so I got the brakes fixed and went ahead and to the spark plugs and "wires"...... (later to find out my car doesn't have wires, it has coils). Moving on - I got my car back and it WASN'T FIXED, LIKE DO YOU EVEN TEST DRIVE? (oh yeah the do, that story is for the 3rd time around) Second time around: Immediately turned around and brought it back. So now I'm told something to do with wires that were pulled out by the first fix. I was told they fixed that but when the technician went to test drive the car they BLEW OUT MY TIRE...and then had the nerve to call me and say "oh do you have insurance on your tires". Why should I BE RESPONSIBLE for something YOU did under YOUR care. At any rate, they ended up fixing the tire, rightfully so. At this point, I reached out to someone that I knew that worked in Management for Ford and when they got involved, I was told I was over charged and they ended up owing me money back. Ok tire fixed, everything should be fine now, right? WRONG. Third times the CHARM??: You'd think........ ok so got my car back the THIRD time and not even 5 miles down the road did my car start doing the EXACT same thing as when I initially brought it in. Ok this was a Friday, at this point I had to wait until Monday to bring it BACK in. This time I was told that another diagnostic would need to be run for another $150, told it was RATS that chewed the wires and it looked fresh because it wasn't there before (but was told they didn't check the engine before, WHAT... your telling me you didn't check the engine the last two times it was in your care, um ok) - I understand the rodent wiring can happen, but I live in the city and your telling me it happened in the 3 days it was at my home prior to back in your lot yet again, like are you kidding me, this is a joke. Well, after being told by the service rep that it was the rodents and that was the cause of the problem I'd need to pay more (HOW COULD IT BE IF THE CAR WAS INITIALLY DIAGNOSED AS NEEDED BRAKES AND SHOCKS? DOES THAT MAKE SENSE TO YOU?) Ok so now the root of the problem finally solved - THE IGNITION IGNITER. So, everything was fixed I was told and then I got a call that while the technician was test driving it, SOMEONE else rear-ended my car - COME ON, IS THIS A DREAM??! All this happened in the course of 3 WEEKS! Finally fixed and then I've got to go through the insurance company to get an estimate to fix my car. That took another 2-3 weeks!!!! It's still not fixed by the way... ON A POSITIVE NOTE: The individuals I knew in management that were helping me, I am very grateful for because I have a feeling I would have been charged 3 times as much as I was (and even over charged at that). The service rep does NOT know what they are doing CLEARLY and the technicians, your guess as good as mine. MORAL OF THE STORY - NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO BE FIXED AT JOE COOPER FORD LINCOLN IN EDMOND - I WOULDN'T EVEN WANT TO BUY A CAR FROM THERE NOW EITHER.

never really have had good experiences there but thought oh well it is so close to work and I need my Explorer worked on, it can't be too bad right? WRONG!!! The windshield pillar trim flew off my car! I call the Ford dealership service center, after all it should be an easy fix. I researched the part, which cost around 90 bucks and when I looked it up only takes a little bit to put on. I asked Ronnie and he said yea just take it in because we have a lot going on and at least this way it will be done. I call them, I spoke to John and made an appointment for Friday at 1. he asked me to call first to make sure the part was there. Friday came, I called and John said the part was there how ever there were so many guys out with the flu they couldn't do it but would set me up for Monday same time, no problem. I take my Explorer in on Monday and drop it off, I get back to work and they call me. John said I'm sorry I ordered the right part and it is in the right box but it is wrong. I said no problem I'll be there to pick my car up in a little while. I go back and get it and he said bring it back the next morning and they will get me set up. Tuesday morning came, I call to make sure they have the right part, yup , bring it in. I drop the car off and he said he would call me and they do. I go in at lunch to pick it up. Ronnie took me so I asked that he not go in because I was afraid he would loose his temper for all the hassle we have had so far. he said ok and told me to look at it first before I pay, he watched me from the truck The plastic piece was on there but it was loose and popped up so I Ronnie tells me I better go tell them, I was like you can, he said no you have to handle it. I go and get John and he said are you here to pick it up and I said yup but first I need you to come look at it, he saw the issue and Ronnie walked back in with us. John said Mrs. P. I really appreciate you being so nice thew all of this and if you bring your car back tomorrow I will fill your tank up for you for all this hassle, Ronnie said well you needed to do something this is ridiculous. Wednesday came, I take my car in before work because I don't want to miss anymore time and leave my car again. this time it was almost 2 before they called. John said your car is ready. I said great, John can you do me a huge favor and go and look at it yourself just to make sure it is good and really ready to go. he said Oh I did and it looks really good. I said great I'll see you after work. Ronnie takes me back, for those that are counting this is 6 trips to Roberts auto center, I asked Ronnie to just take care of it, he said no you wanted to handle this, just look at it real good before you go in. He watches me from the truck, I look at it for a second and head inside, he hollers is it fixed, when I turned to look back at him I was about to burst into tears! He bailed out of the truck and looks, it it on there and it broken...... I cried I just want my car fixed. Ronnie went straight to red and said I will get it fixed for you and this place can xxxx off, we go in and there is no one at the desk then a man walks in and Ronnie said we need her keys, we are leaving and are not going to give you a dime. the man looked confused and then we went back out to my car and he glanced and was like I'm so sorry, this is not right we can get this done right and took some pictures of it. Ronnie said this is our third day and sixth trip, we are done. He said a few other things then ended them with I need her keys now I'm done. The guy said I understand lets go get them. I stayed by my car and after a few minutes Ronnie came back out and we left, I'm sure Ronnie gave them an ear full. He gets in his truck and I get the Explorer and we head out. He called me as we left and asked did they fill your car up like they said they would, I looked down and was like nope but they didn't fix my car like they said they would either! NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!
