The service at this dealership is great. I get the appointment I want, and they do the work in a timely manner. Also they get it right the first time so I do not make repeated trips. And I love that they clean my car. Ghita

I had my vehicle towed to Allen Samuels after it died a... - tpbailey
I had my vehicle towed to Allen Samuels after it died a few days after having it another VW dealer for some recall work. Allen Samuels discovered the remnants of a plastic glove in the fuel tank among several issues related to the work done including the recall not being shown as completed. After I explained what happened to the service director Robert, he assured me that they would work with Volkswagen to get the repairs covered or do it out of pocket as a good will service. I can't begin to thank him and the entire team at Allen Samuels for helping me out in this nightmare that was should have been a simple recall job. They completely room care of me and returned an nice clean vehicle. I will never make the mistake of taking my vehicle to another dealer no matter how booked up Allen Samuels is. After my experience it's easy to see why so many others are taking their cars to get serviced here.
Stay away or you will be sorry - James, Bob123
After a wreck our insurance company suggested Bill Knight collision repair as it was one of their "preferred" shops. Ignorantly, we followed the insurance carriers advice instead of doing research and selecting a shop on our own. The repairs were first promised to be complete within 10 days. It actually took 23 days, a lot of frustration, and serious bouts of high blood pressure, before we finally got our car back. During that time we were promised six different completion dates, followed by a multitude of excuses for the various delays. We had issues over the parts that were used, the promised "life time" warranty that actually does not exist, and an issue with painting. Our experience over this three week process is best described as a nightmare. The level of incompetence was simply staggering. Had it not been so frustrating, the multitude of delays would have been comical. It became my habit to wait by the phone, on the date(s) the car was supposed to be finished, to see what the next excuse would be for another delay. On the final day, after we were told the car was ready to be picked up, we traveled to the shop to find the replaced wheels on the car were not correct. The wheels on the driver side of the car were dramatically different than the wheels on the passenger side. Needless to say, my opinion about Bill Knight Collision could not be worse. We are a "Ford" family, but we will never step foot on Bill Knight's dealership again. Not to buy a vehicle and certainly not to have repairs made to any vehicle.

Brought car in for hail damage repair in July. Still cannot get any answer when I can get my vehicle back. Going into 4 months now for $7,000 repair-something is seriously wrong with this horrible shop. This has created an untenable hardship on me to not have my vehicle for this long. May lose my job if I continue to miss work because of no vehicle. I will tell everyone I can about my unbelievable bad experience.
My two year relationship at Don Thornton VW service &parts. - Mitch
Let me start out by saying that I do not trust many dealerships. I usually prefer a local garage if I can’t fix something. I own three VW turbo diesel vehicles. Over the last two years I have developed a relationship with the service department that is very important to me. John the service manager and Matt the lead tech have more than earned my respect and trust. My early experience at don thorton led me to believe I was being lied to. I was not happy. After all nothing is cheap about a VW repair where ever you go. The service manager and the lead tech Matt took me back to the car and proved their case. Contrary to my impression They had gone out of their way to make my situation work! Then given the entirety of the information I realized the type of folks I was working with. Just hard working, honest, customer oriented service professionals. I not only was was happy but I return again and again. John is an excellent service manager. Who’s views on customer service is what I think we all wish everyone’s was.
I once had traveled out of town in a remote area and after a VW of America upgrade caused a fault in the system Doss from service and a tech on a Saturday helped me to figure out what was going on and how to compensate for it. They didn’t have to do that. Some may say they shouldn’t have but my wife and young kids sure appreciated it.
I love my VW TDI’s and John let me know on one of my service visits they were fixing the TDI emissions buy back cars and they were for sale again. I bought another VW TDI I. January.
I have had great experience with parts, service and sales but if were not for John, Curtis, Doss, of service I would never have given sales or parts the chance.
Just to follow up my yesterday's appointment to let you... - Alexandre
Just to follow up my yesterday's appointment to let you know that the recall service that I was scheduled to do WAS NOT done and the alignment service that was also scheduled to do made my car even worst than it was before.
I waited there for seven hours and nothing was done in my car or was poorly done.
I have been a loyal customer since 2018 and the last two times I was there the service has decreased in quality. My situation yesterday was a tremendous disrespect with a customer. The employee who assisted me yesterday was really rude and impolite. I will looking for another dealership to take my business from now on.
The employee, I believe his name was Jacob, lied to my face at the end trying to convince me that the recall was a two day job. It was NEVER brought to my attention before, it is not in the appointment email or on the text message I received confirming the appointment. In the email, it even says that the "the client will wait while the service is performed", unless someone expected me to sleep in the dealership, it was never a two day job.
So I lost trust and confidence on Fowler VW Norman and I will not go back there and I will make sure that none of my friends make the same mistake that I did.
