Very sad to say that we purchased a brand new Yukon - NUTMEG250
Very sad to say that we purchased a brand new Yukon Denali XL from Wyatt Johnson (Of which we paid Cash) , at 2600 miles the engine went out and left us stranded on the side of the rainy interstate. We are a mobile surgery practice so we rely solely on our Yukon XL to haul all of our equipment to each hospital. Roadside Assist towed it to the nearest dealership in Dickson where that dealership informed us it could be months before they could replace the engine. Besides that they had another Yukon in for the same problem and they had been waiting 7 months for an engine for that vehicle and supposedly only make a couple of replacement engines a year?!?!. I reached out to Wyatt Johnson, told them the situation and that Roadside Assist has to tow to the closest dealership. I asked if they could help us to get a loaner Yukon XL since the dealership that has our vehicle doesn't have anything that large to accommodate us. Our sales guy stated that since the vehicle wasn't at their dealership for repair they really couldn't help us. (DON'T THEY ALL WORK FOR GM???) They suggested we PAY to have it towed to them where there could access the "Internal Engine Failure" Then they could probably have us a new engine in 3 days. They also said they couldn't provide us with a vehicle of equal size and value because they had nothing available. I asked about them paying for a rental. (Suppose to be part of the GM promise) They said it only pays $25.00 a day so we would be required to pay the difference. After much aggravation and phone calls back and forth, Wyatt Johnson agreed to pull a vehicle from their used car lot and bring to us. They were suppose to have it to us yesterday but called late last night and said sorry it would have to be today. Then when it does arrive it's a regular Yukon, Not an XL. So we are no better off than we were.
The reason for the long review is this. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Find out what customers are really saying about the dealership. We have a multiple doctor practice and run a fleet of Yukon XL's so although our salesperson got commission on $100,00 he will be missing out on the other $400,000 that we would have been spending on the rest of the new vehicles. PLEASE TAKE NOTE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
