I absolutely hate car shopping and already had gone to one dealer and had a disappointing experience, and spoke to a few others who didnt listen or just brushed me off. I was stressed as my car was totalled due to a deer and the rental time was running out. I first spoke to jason the sales manager who from the get cared and got to know me to figure out what vehicles would work for me and my life style. He already had a few in mind and assured me they definitely would have something. I ended up seeing gladiator I wanted to test drive at their cortland location they went above and beyond and brought it to syracuse for me. Jason set me up with Preston who was very sweet. And they both made the whole purchase super easy and stress free and they never pushed anything like some of the other dealerships do. You can truly tell Jason cares about the people that come thru that door which is refreshing and rare. Even after the sale I called with and issue and he immediately got on it and it was taken care of. Even the service department people are super nice and keep you informed. They are truly understanding. I wish i could remember the guys name i delt with. They definitely have gained my trust and a returning customer. And I for sure will be recommending them to everyone. My truck was totaled in an accident and I had not been planning a new(er) vehicle purchase. Due to some recent issues I was also facing credit challenges, a budget crunch, and a downpayment tied up waiting for my insurance company to settle my claim. Honestly, I didn't have much hope for buying a vehicle outside of taking my chances on FaceBook Marketplace. I had decided that if I was going to buy a vehicle I wanted the vehicle with the features and options I had hoped for. I had an 11:15 appointment on 2/28/26, I was immediately greeted by Greg, our salesman, who took the time to understand the issues I was dealing with, and the vehicle I was looking for. Within a few minutes he presented me with multiple options and I was off on a test drive. He listened and the vehicle was a perfect fit for what I was looking for. He then worked very hard to get a deal that would make buying this truck a reality. Now all that may seem very "normal". Greg and James CDJR went above and beyond, not only getting me in the vehicle I wanted, but put dealer plates on so I could take the vehicle home while I waited for the insurance company to issue my settlement. I quite literally, drove away that day with the vehicle I wanted, at a price I could work with, on a payment that made it possible because Greg made it happen regardless of the challenge. Now, my claim is settled and I am enjoying my new vehicle. A few days ago I was sick at my stomach thinking about how I would be able to go forward. Extremely grateful for Greg's ability to listen and move the barriers that could have prevented me from owning this truck.

purchased a used Honda Pilot from Bob Johnson Chevy in Pulaski and I was pretty pumped at first, however, as my first month of ownership is about over I am finding my overall experience very lacking. For starters, I noticed a couple of issues with the car prior to taking delivery, Dylan said he would take care of it and neither was fully resolved. I ended up having to purchase a new license plate light (Honda OEM so it wasn’t cheap) as it’s a whole unit, not just a bulb as Dylan assured me it was. Also the front trim on the grill around the headlights was not seating into the grill. Dlyan reseated it but it has since popped out again. I’ve reseated it but I think it’ll have to be replaced, as I am assuming the clips aren’t catching. I also asked Dlyan about my registration (prior to signing anything) expiring within the next couple weeks and he said “Oh we just transfer it, even if it’s just a day away” and that I could just renew it anytime. After talking to the DMV and Maddie he should have selected a box to renew the registration and provide me with a temp. Got a temp but it was only good to the day my registration expired. I had to call Maddie multiple times to get this taken care of before my registration expired. She told me she would push it through the DMV and send me a photo of the registration so I had it since my temp expired on 10/7. Still haven’t gotten that photo and it’s 10/9. Turns out paperwork wasn’t finalized for the loan services, I had to call Nate to find out none of my deal was scanned into their system, so the loan wasn’t funded. My buyout payment was processed about 3 days after my car payment was due so hopefully there’s nothing there that’s going to ding me. I feel like there was some serious details missed on my deal. It’s not like I was buying a $10k used car….i spend close to $30k on this and really and dissatisfied with the experience. Not sure I would recommend Bob Johnson to anyone that asks. ***update…it’s now a month since I bought the car and I still don’t have a registration sticker for the car. Trim around the headlights is once again pulling away from the grill and I’ve discovered yet another problem…the upper radiator support plastics are missing. I truly cannot believe this is how a $30,000 car is sold, and all I’ve gotten from the dealership is a response here stating “they’ll look into my concerns”. Thanks for nothing Bob Johnson Auto Group.

Louie was phenomenal to work with in buying my new 2024 RAM 2500. I have never had a more pleasant no non-sense experience at any dealership anywhere and I have been to tons of them. This last time I visited more than 15 dealerships and called at least 25. I inquired at more than 40 online and when I finally called Wally’s and Louie answered he proved dealerships still do an honest business and want to sell vehicles. I made my 1 and only offer on the truck based on what I could spend. Louie presented the offer to management and they accepted it. I got an incredible deal and treated with nothing but respect throughout the entire process. Louie even went out of his way to make sure my every request was handled. Made the 6 hour drive from my home there 100% worth it. Even their service guys went out of their way to help me out as I had to tow my other vehicle home on an auto transport behind my new truck and I needed to have my ball flipped over so I could lower it to get a better tow for the 6 hour trip back home. I will be pleased to take my business to Wally’s CDJR when I need my next truck. They were fantastic.
