This dealership understands customer service. I own a new 2017 suburban that had a few issues that the dealership I bought it from said "too bad so sad" its as is. I took it to John Megel, and they covered everything I wanted under the sun in the warranty. The repairmen are smart and resourceful too. One of them went and removed a fog lamp from a new suburban on their lot to replace mine just so I they could get me fixed the day I brought it in.

Purchasing a vehicle from Clay County Automotive was by far the best car buying experience that I have had in my 30 years of of buying automobiles. All the employees that we met were extremely friendly, they were helpful, and were easy to work with. The dealership had the RAM 1500 that I wanted on their lot and after working with them over the phone, I traveled two hours in hopes of coming to an agreement on the price - I was not disappointed. I purchased the truck I wanted at a great price. I would highly recommend Clay County Automotive without hesitation to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
2018 Tahoe - Satisfied Customer
I'm not an easy customer, I have bought a new vehicle every 2-3 years my entire adult life, so I know I think I know the ends and outs of how dealers jack customers around. I dealt with a good sales rep named T.J via email for about two weeks....first about ordering a specific model of Suburban, equipped the way I wanted it as opposed to the way a dealer orders them for the masses. I just couldn't pull the trigger on ordering one, because you WILL pay very, very close to MSRP on it. (If someone knows a way to order one and get a deep discount on it, please let me know!).
Anyway, I decided to go a different direction and hold off.
A couple of weeks later, I was driving by and thought "what the xxxx, let's see what's on their lot" and pulled in. This is where it get's good....I parked my RAM 2500 and got out and walked around for 20-30 minutes looking at their inventory and not one person accosted me. I liked that. In fact, being jumped as soon as I pull on a dealer lot is the one thing that makes me get out of there ASAP. I hate aggressive salesmen. So I see three stunning 2018 Tahoe's....black, 4x4, Z71 package, Midnight Edition. (I would love to see this in a Suburban). I check them all out, still not being accosted. So I walk inside, ask for TJ and we proceeded to go look at the Tahoe's. It was good timing on my part, so let's just say that TJ and Day's Chevy made a sales offer I was very comfortable with.
So just for giggles, I asked them to make me an offer on my 2015 RAM 2500 (which was VERY nice...Cummins diesel, leveled, 4x4, Laramie, Crew Cab, 8 foot bed, Warn winch, Fuel rims, Micky T 35" off road tires and only 10,300 miles on it). Well about 30 minutes later, Days made me an offer on my RAM I just couldn't turn down.
So I got a great deal on a new Tahoe and a more than fair price on my RAM 2500.
Aside from all of those good things I've mentioned, the facilities were immaculate and I only had to speak with two people.....TJ and Chris (the paperwork guy).
Days Chevrolet has the right business model for a modern dealership in my experience.

Just about every time I bring me car in for a grease & oil change I have had to bring my car back in before I even leave so they could put air in my tires. No one has checked it. This time they did not even reset my oil gauge to 100%. I am just wondering what else they did do. I thought this was a 6 point inspection. I never got a sheet for one.

I went to a another dealership and received a diagnosis and an excessively large quote on repairs. I received a second opinion from Goodmark Chevrolet and they discovered the real problem which was ultimately a much cheaper repair. I am thankful that they did not try and up sell me repairs that were not necessary.

This dealerships' coalition department is unprofessional and, staff lack proper pro tidal when communicating with customers. If I had read the terrible review on another site, I would have ever taken my car there. This dealership has had my 2015 Trax for nearly three weeks to repair a very minor bumper problem. My insurance company sent to adjusters out to approve the.damages. The first inspector quoted a price of approximately $594.00. However, mechanics took the entire bumper off and found additional damages. The second adjuster approved it, insurance submitted payment, both stating that it is a two day job. The first and second weeks, I was patient, giving them the benefit of doubt. Even though, staff never reached out to me to inform me of the process. I am always calling them to get, it will be ready on a specific day and never is. When I read the negative reviews, I noticed the owner "Terr Cullen" replied to each one with contact our service manager. He, just like his staff is not interested in customer satisfaction. This was my first and my last dealing with Terry Cullen Chevrolet. I will make certain that all dealership organizations and The BBB are aware of the service and unprofessional staff at Terry Cullen. Laura, Falicia and Jeremy are very nice on the phone and I appreciate that. However, they still have my car and I feel that they have caused problems with it, as one customer reported they did to is. The owner should be ashame of its staff and, how customers are treated. The competition in this industry is high with dealership staff that knows how to treat first time customers to have them become life timers.

I bought a used Silverado some years ago at another dealer. I went in for an oil change and was told I needed to replace my oil pan gasket for $300 and some dollars. I looked at the oil pan and it looked like someone had smeared oil on it--not seepage. I watched it for the next five years and never had a spot on the driveway or needed to add oil. I never went back until today. I called about replacing my airbag igniter and was told the part was there and scheduled appointment for the next day. When I showed up at the dealer they did not have the part and had no idea who made the appointment. They are 0 for 2 and will never have another chance with me.

I purchased my Chevy Cruze at Athens Chevrolet and didn't really have any complaints. The sales manager was one of the sleaziest pushiest and stereotypically dishonest salesman I've ever encountered, but I've dealt with these types before and see right through their tricks. Anyway, my complaint is that their service department takes dishonesty to a potentially criminal level. Or maybe they have a different interpretation of the word "service". Either way, they will tell you that they did work that was never done.

We took our car there to have them run it through a fuel pressure check, check codes, check battery, and then change spark plugs as we had an occasional slow crank starting. After 24 hours without hearing anything back from them, we called them, and we were told that the technician took it out for a drive, and could not replicate problem. My husband was upset that they did not do as requested. He told them to do as requested first. They then started to do our request. My husband complained about this to their service Manager, who argued over the phone with my husband. After getting our car back after 28 hours, we then found out they drove the car for 42 MILES!!! Complained to the General Manager, who said "it's normal for our service department to test drive cars 42 miles, we even drive some up to 300 miles"!! What??? Either that's the poorest excuse I've ever heard or somebody doesn't know what the xxxx they're doing! 42 miles equates to about an hour of driving! So, they drove my car around for an hour the first 24 hours of it being in their shop and then did what we requested in the last 4 hours of having our car, great business model Ginn!! They will never get our business again!

We were a long way from home returning from vacation when my check engine light came on. I found this place which was closest to us, and spoke with Martin breig. He told us to bring it right in. He did the diagnostics and gave us a price. He then proceeded to call our warranty company to hash out their coverage. They fixed our car, gave me a coupon for a bit of discount and were on our way, safe and sound. I cannot say how grateful we are for the fabulous service and treatment we received at this establishment! If we lived anywhere near this location, it would certainly be my go to! Thanks from a couple of weary travelers!!!!
