There are not enough words to describe how awesome Scott is and everyone else at Shottenkirk. I calledd ahead to see if the car I was intested in purchasing was still there, they informed me that it was and was going to call if it sold before I arrived. Thankfully it didn't. Scott aka Duck was very very friendly and an all around good salesman. He didn't force me to buy it. The process from start to finish was very pleseant. I returned to my home in Austell, after 3 months in North Carolina caring for ailing parents, to find that Thornton Road CDJR was under new management, Atlanta West CDJR. I went over for the Express Service and was professionally, pleasantly greeted by Express Service Manager, Mr. Brian Brinson. He sent me to Soli Jatta (great CSV rep) who had remained on staff from the prior owners and I knew well. After checking in I waited in the lobby for my usual, "Mrs. Klein, we have you ready?", call. It didn't come. What did come was a solemn faced Mr. Brinson. I had that gut feeling that something additional was found and braced for the news. It was the feeling you have when the Dr. comes in and sits down with their, "We need to talk." intro. Brian began explaining the technician, Nolan Hay, discovered a serious issue. Quote from Work Order, "Upon multi point vehicle inspection found busted right front CV boot, bad ABS sensor and noisy front brakes. I understand "some" about cars but couldn't imagine a busted CV boot and what "that" meant. I asked Mr. Brinson if I could go into the work bay to see exactly what he was describing. What I saw chilled me to the bone. I had to take pictures. In fact, the CV boot was nearly three-quarters off the axle, the ABS sensor looked like it had rubbed against something until it was severed and dangling AND there was a thick buildup of grease inside the right front tire, axle and chassis. Mr. Brinson actually said he was so happy to see me at their dealership because this issue could have caused a catastrophic accident. (1) Should that tire have dropped into pothole or sustained another type of hard bounce , I could have potentially lost my right front wheel. (2) Should I have had to suddenly engage my brakes HARD, needing the ABS to do it's job...it wouldn't have. My car would have uncontrollably veered to the left, into oncoming traffic. When Mr. Brinson learned that I had traveled over 1200 miles, mostly highway, from April 15 through July 16, he said, "It's is only by the grace of God you are still with us. You must have a guardian angel." I'm sure I do and I am so thankful. What really steams me is not with Atlanta West, but with prior technicians who serviced my car under Thornton Road CDJR. I'd had my car in for MANY services/check-ups in the year prior to today's discovery...proof was in the computer where my service records are kept that I had reported noises coming from the right front wheel on SEVERAL visits but no one ever heard the noise and no one saw anything wrong. From the buildup of grease, this had been going on for quite some time. Enough about prior management. Mr. Brinson and upper service management stepped up in full fashion to right a unbelievably gross oversight. I won't go into detail regarding costs, let's just say they were MORE THAN gracious and accommodating. I am so grateful to the technician, Mr. Nolan Hay, for recognizing the damage. I am very grateful to the kindnesses extended by Mr. Brinson and his manager. Atlanta West CDJR IS my dealership of choice!

My fiancé and I had been looking to buy a SUV, and had our mind set on a Durango. We didn't get the Durango, but our salesman, Donald Bentley, introduced us to the 2017 Dodge Journey. At first the Journey was out of the question( for me anyway). But Donald refused the let us leave unsatisfied. Long story short we bought the Journey, and Donald made it so easy!! We've had our SUV for about 3 weeks now and we're in LOVE! I highly recommend Athens Dodge, not only Donald but the whole staff was AWESOME! We will be purchasing our future cars from them.

Disagreement on value of trade in - MJ
Mar 3 2017 sales man Cornelius Robinson was excellent. Unfortunately did not purchase vehicle could not reach agreement on trade in value with management and was the way too long. Would recommend Cornelius though. He apologized about the extremely long wait and even called to make sure we made it back to Columbus safely

I bought a used Ram 3500 from these guys. So many things wrong that they intentionally covered up. The GM knew about it and offered me a peanuts settlement which I declined. Then he was able to get the BBB complaint released. Do not buy anything used from this dealership without having it inspected by a third party. No kidding people, these guys are a disgrace to Dodge!

I purchased a car recently from this dealership that I am very pleased with. However, due to the service and overall experience with this dealership, I wished I could take it back. First of all, when I purchased the car they slipped an gap insurance and an extended warranty in on me without asking, on a car that had a 100,000 mile warranty with 17k on it, 2 years old. I understand it was partially my fault for not reading completely over the contract while there. However, when you are at a dealership for over three hours, you are just ready to go. I think this dealership took advantage of that. A week later I called to cancel both. Once it was finally cancelled I was told it could be up to a month before I received the check. A month later I called and was told that only the extended warranty had been cancelled and that it would be another before they received the gap. A month later I called back and was told they had it and that it would go out on Tuesday. I live in the same state as this dealership by the way. So a week later and no check I call back and am told that "they just got so busy" and that it would be in the mail the next day. Sure takes a lot of effort to put a check in the mail. Anyways I finally get the check over three months later. $3400 worth of charges for services that I didn't even get asked that if I wanted them. Needless to say I cannot recommend them.

Saw a new 2016 Promaster City Wagon (passenger) on the Internet. Made an appointment with Rob for a test drive. Had an older model trade-in. Negotiations took a while. Rob was very helpful and patient through the whole process. Didn't need financing. Drive in to drive out, took about 3 hours,.
As I was headed back home in the new Promaster City, I realized that overall it had been an enjoyable afternoon. Rob was pleasant to work with, I got the vehicle I wanted at a really good price and I got a fair price for my trade-in.

Called next day and told price is $43,000. and salesperson showed us wrong vehicle- VERY UNPROFESSIONAL to say the least.
