A good experience buying a new GMC truck - GaryL
After seeing a truck in the lot I was interested in I went in and met Shelley Barr who immediately found it on the computer, got the keys and took me out to look at it. I was in a hurry that day because of leaving for out of town for a week but returned to meet with Shelley and take the truck for a test drive. I never felt rushed because she said she wanted me to like the truck. Having always had Chevy trucks I wasn't familiar with GMC trim levels and options but what ever questions I had she found the answers quickly. So anyways Shelley with the assistance of Dan, Lou and Mike went out of her way to put a deal together to make me happy. I needed a tonneau cover on the new truck for a trip and Jim the parts guy made sure it got ordered and arrived the next day and Geoff the service advisor made sure it was installed right away. When I picked the truck up it was all detailed and looked great. A lot of sales people would have just said goodbye at that point but Shelley spent an extra 2 hours helping me set up the OnStar, GMC and Sirius radio. And finally thanks to Kate for setting up my GMC rewards program online saving me the time of doing it. I would highly recommend this dealership. I'm sure the servicing of my truck will go well too.

I decided to checkout Gary Lang bc of its very large inventory and figured I would be able to find the pre owned vehicle I needed at a reasonable price. I was very surprised at how well all the vehicles I looked at were in such great condition. I’ve been to other dealers where it looked like they just threw a vehicle on the lot after being traded in without even detailing them. My wife and I were thinking about a bigger car. I have heard of a dealer, just 6 mi. away.that a lot of my friends have bought from. We met a salesman named Roy. He didn't seem like your ordinary salesman, so Friendly and no pressuure. We talked for awhile about what we were looking for. He showed us the exact car loaded. We drove it, in different situations. Next he showed us two more, all with different options. We were just looking today. One of them was what we wanted. I have bought over 25 vehicles in my 70yearsold. I had done my home work and knew what was a GOOD DEAL. He had been vary vary friendly. He came with an offer in the ball park.I have never bought a car when I had to. We talked and I gave a counter offer. He asked if there was anything else he could help me with. I said a hitch and a second door opener for may wife Linda. He said he would We talked some more, and instead of running back and forth asked if we wanted to talk to the owner. I have been with 2 salesmen at i time before. Martin introduced himself and still No pressure. He offered more to the deal. Still SO FRIENDLY. we talked as if we were FAMILY. Hours have passed and I was enjoying the dealing. I said I never bought a black vehicle because the show the dirt. Martin said he would give me free car wash for the rest of the yr..I knew that our last money offer was the best deal.I think we will be seeing a lot more of these two. Elmer and Linda Schutt

My daughter took her Chevy in for repair, and they said she needed all new parts and they were burned out, We took it to another auto repair they said parts were fine , fixed a wire. This dealer tried to get $ 1150.00 off my daughter for parts that were in good working order. I believe they call it Fraud??No one could be that incompetent. Then tried to charge her $ 99. 00 for there lie of diagnosis.

I purchased a used truck from here on Sept 1. After all the necessary paperwork was done and my plates were transferred I was ready to go. I then asked for the spare key since there was still only one given to me and they informed me there was no spare. This was never mentioned during the negotiation process. A spare key ended up costing me $215 so I reached out to the dealership to see if they could cover this cost. They responded and asked me to get a copy of the receipt. I brought it in today and was treated with the utmost disrespect from Rick the used car sales manager from the moment I walked in. He was argumentative and combative throughout our entire conversation. He told me there was no way he was going to pay for the spare key since it was a used vehicle sold "as is" and that I should have negotiated that while making the deal even though I had no way of knowing. I guess their integrity and character isn't worth a couple hundred dollars. It was the worst car buying experience I've ever had. I would strongly suggest you buy your vehicle elsewhere
Deplorable Treatment Of Established Customers - Angry Customer
I purchased a vehicle from the dealership. It was a 2005 Dodge Caravan. Unfortunately, It was not without problems. I was told that someone at the dealership took a check that I had written when she left. I had to put a stop payment on it and when I came back to make the final payment on my car, it was agreed that I could pay the final amount less the stop payment check fee. Interestingly enough, I received call about a balance due for that amount for at least a week after the sale was finalized. This should not have happened. Even so, I was still pleased with my vehicle so I decided to keep an option open for another car purchase.
I came on November 23, 2016 to look at a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer. After being given assurances that it was still in inventory, when I got there, the sales people claimed that it could not be located – which should have told me something. Even so, I was shown and drove a 2002 Mitsubishi Lancer instead. I admit that it was a nice vehicle and I was interested in purchasing it. However, the salesman Walter was new and he said that he “needed to get one of the more experienced sales people involved.”
An African American man came over – I believe that his name was Kevin. I had dealings with him with the previous vehicle. However, what happened next was absolutely ridiculous. Please keep in mind that I intended to be a repeat customer. However, he “took a look” at my vehicle and told me that it was only worth somewhere around $500.00. he started to talk down to me because I told him that my wife wanted to look at the car that I intended to purchase first. He stated all of the work that would have to go into taking in my vehicle as a trade in, and could be worth more to his “friend” at another dealership,” but they would want my car right away.
I was SHOCKED! I told him that I could not commit to a purchase without my wife looking at the car and that I wanted to know how much my trade in was
worth – telling him multiple times that I never had a car before that I owned free and clear for a trade in value. He was further condescending by asking me repeatedly how much I thought it was worth. When I told him that I had no idea and he realized that HE was not going to make a sale – even though Walter was the assigned salesman – he just got up and walked away to another customer. Quite frankly, I am disgusted with this whole situation.
Extra effort should have been put forth because I am an established customer.
There is no way that my car is only worth $500.00 because I was intent on trading in a newer car against the older one that they wanted to sell to me.
The 2003 Lancer that I originally wanted is still listed in your inventory and a price difference should have been considered on my behalf because the 2002 car was not the one that I wanted.
And finally, they have shown me just how you treat established customers. Therefore, I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM THEM AGAIN
