Not Good - Angel
Upon leaving the undercarriage was left hanging and it took my husband a 1/2 hour to chop it out, and the maintenance window was never re-set, so now it looks as if nothing was ever done. Work supposedly done Sat the 12th of this month January, and to go back is 64 miles round trip.

The atmosphere is fabulous and comfortable! Very accommodating to what I was looking for and need. All sales people were kind, talkative and actually funny. Not once did I feel anyone was pushy! I love these guys and wont go anywhere else!

Was dea and ing with their internet sales manager for a few days. He wanted to know when I was coming in and told him Friday morning when they opened. Emailed him Thursday night to make sure its still not available and he said yes xxxx have it clean and ready to show. Friday morning come get a email 2 minutes before I pull in that it sold last night. He said it sold after he left and he would have a truck comparable around the same price. Well he didnt and didnt want to come close t ok the price. Wasted time. Bought a new truck somewhere else

Do you like to have your time wasted by salesmen doing the "Let me talk to my manager" bit for hours just so you can get the price they posted online? Then this is the garbage dealership for you. They also can't figure out how to complete an out-of-state sale, sending the title to the wrong place twice and taking forever to do it. The worst. Avoid.

He showed me my many options and out of heart I know he tried his best. I will bring all my friends to him, I know he will honestly give them the best deal. The dealer didn’t even have the car I wanted since I was a little boy. He then went on and picked up the car for me to finalize the deal. Very pleased with the service I got. I bought a new car that had a major scratch on the hood. They said they would fix it, and they did. Cody was my service tech and he did a awesome job. He reviewed the finished product and made them do it over until it was perfect.

Went to see a used Bmw they advertise on Facebook called in the morning asked if the car was mechanically sound of course like every new car store that sells used cars they said oh yeah it’s a nice car. So after 40 min drive I arrived. They don’t even have computers at their desks and the place looks like it was never cleaned since 70 s . Long story short they take me to see that car couple blocks away to their grave yard and of course the car had a bad head gasket and barely drove it. The manager what a joke the sales guy Dawid very nice guy.

Bought a "certified" Jeep and within a month battery died stranding my wife in the brutal cold, tires need to be replaced, transmission not working and brakes grinding by time of the first oil change. Trusted them to provide a dependable vehicle and very poor experience going with a local dealer.

The Worst Used Car Buying Experience I've Ever Had - JAG
James Motor Sales is the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. I understand their reviews are really good and that’s why I shopped them. However, my experience was definitely not the same as everybody else’s on here. I traded in my baby a perfect 2005 Chevy Corvette and they have me a decent price on it, however the truck I bought on the trade was anything but. The day after I bought it a CEL came on for spot plugging of exhaust components. The truck ended up being very rusted out underneath when I actually put it up on a lift and had it inspected for a possible undercoat. The steering on the interstate is like driving a school bus from the 30’s and wanders heavily. The transmission Ian leaking and shifts with clunks (and not the normal firmness of a 1 ton truck) noticeable clunking, the diesel emissions system is sooted up hence the code. They reset the code before delivery and I didn’t see it. The truck has scratches all over it once the spray on wax or whatever they used rubbed off, and the door pillars have a plastic material coming off. Not what I expected for a $35,000 truck. After the sale was a nightmare. I told them I was misled on the truck and they blamed it on me and said I should have inspected it better. I asked for my Vette back and to unwind the deal, but of course, nobody wants to give up their commisions like the greedy salesmen they are, so they basically tell me tough luck The Vette was nowhere to be seen, probably the owner or some salesmen taking it home for the weekend on a joy ride. The dealership is horrible, and to do it to a Veteran, and someone who lives nearby in the local community down the road. There was no harm, no foul, but they wouldn’t make it right so here I am, stuck with no transportation because I returned the truck it was so bad. Guess it being for sale for over 6 months should have raised red flags but I just expected a dealership with ratings of this caliber to understand...wrong. Oh well, I’ll make sure everybody in Willis Tower and O’Hare International doesn’t make the same mistake...word of mouth travels extremely quickly in the truck and aviation world. In Sept 09, my college daughter Ashley Lynch purchased a 2003 Saturn Vue from you. A few month's later she received a recall notice on the transmission. She and I both contacted you, with no favorable response. We had hoped to resolve this issue before anything happened. She was advised by Saturn that they would pay 50% of the transmission replacement, which would be $2,400 out of her pocket - money that a college student doesn't have. I believe you knownly sold her the Vue with a faulty transmission. On Easter morning the transmission went out leaving her stranded, without a vehicle and out $7,400. Shame on your dealership for lacking honesty and integrety. What would I rate your service problem on a scale of 1 to 10? ONE

Right from the start my online inquiry was answered. by Jacob Packley. I went to the dealership to see the 2012 Lincoln MKZ., travelling from Joliet. Jacob met with me, he was very nice and personable. We went for a test drive he was very knowledgeable about the features of the car. Later we talked numbers, I met Bob the sales manager, he also was very nice. Jacob, Bob and I hammered out a deal and had a pleasant time doing that--no stress !!!! We agreed to finalize the deal on Mon. 12/7/15 as this was Sat. 12/5/15 and was getting dark. I don't like driving at night. So, Monday it was very foggy, Jacob, out of the kindness of his heart offered to drive to Joliet to get me. I am 65yrs. old and had concerns about the weather. I thought his coming to get me was so kind and considerate. We finished the deal, saw Bob again, met Mike in financing, had a great experience @ Greenway Automotive--thanks GUYS !!!!!!! TERRI LOUTOS
