I have had problems trying to relieve myself of an unreliable car for well over a year now. I am starting a family and the money being invested was more than I should have especially because of my long work commute. THEY MADE IT HAPPEN. And more specifically, Chuck Freeman made it happen. I finally left with a brand new car all by myself and it was thanks to them, the finance guru that they have with them, and they’re management. Definitely will always be going back to recommending them. Although a spontaneous stop in, I left with a new car within a few hours. Truly an amazing dealership.
Inoperable Vehicle - Fixed very quickly with regular updates - bk
My car was have a lot of issues and was inoperable. I had my car towed to this dealership and they walked me through everything. They explained the issue and provided a firm timeline for it to get fixed and stuck to that commitment. They regularly sent me updates and did a great job ultimately solving the issue. I will definitely return for any car problems in the future.
Had better days at Hawk - VALINDA NEELY
Went to Hawk on April 7th had a 9:30 appt. arrived accordingly. Asked to have my steering column boot replaced as previously instructed by Hawk at another appt., The part was ordered. Was told that the mechanic had to look at the car. I sat and sat waiting for someone to get back with me . 2 and a half hours later went to desk to ask if he had looked at the car was told that he had brought the car in and was working on it. Says its going to be more than the hour previously quoted. I showed him him the paper work showing the price of the part and labor, Boot $95.00 labor $140.36. Also told I had a coupon. He informed me that he could not accept the coupon because he did not charge me the cost for 3 hours work. Informed him that I know it did not take 3 hours because I kept getting up looking to see if my car had been bought in and the fact that I still paid the amount included in the cost for the coupon amount to be deducted. He says well I cant accept the coupon. Since you have the quote from previous service adviser and you been here so long I'm not charging you for the 3 hours work and will charge you what the previous advisor quoted you in error. Upset because I've been here since 9:30 its not 12:50. I leave and my signal is now not working does not cut off after making a turn. Turned right around and came back and had to wait another 45 minutes for the mechanic to reconnect the turn signals. Very upset my whole day spent waiting 4 hours for a hour job. I usually go home and wait until job complete but left waiting for the mechanic to check the car first.... misinformation...... Their were a lot of young men there on this day working on cars not the regular workers. Could this be the problem?

I went in to the dealership to purchase a truck, not looking for a new one , maybe a 2014 or 15 . Michael Willock was the seller that helped me , wonderful man very patient. We must have test drove 5 different model. He answered all my questions and showed me a lot of fecures the truck had. I bought a 20018 Grand Jeep, luving it to death!!!! Repair not done after they've been paid - Dissatisfied Customer
South Chicago Dodge was paid to repair my mirror on my car as a result of a PACE bus hitting my car. PACE issued a check directly to them to have the repair made. When I called to schedule the repair appointment ir made they claimed they hadn't received the payment. I then obtained the cancel check and a letter from PACE and sent to the Manager per her request to prove payment was made. I have since been given the run around. Each time I call for Jamie the Manager she was either in a meeting or gone for the day (even at 12:55pm today). I have left several messages on her voicemail and with the receptionist over the past month and a half. The only person that seems to be willing to help is Russ the service Manager who I spoke with yesterday and resent the documents to today. I'm hoping for the best!
As for the other staff including Saby the receptionist who kept transferring me to random people who could not help and repeatedly delivered the messages that the people that I needed to speak with to resolve the issue were not available for one reason or another there has been poor communication and zero concern for a customer that purchased a vehicle from their dealership.

Worst dealership ever!!! We purchased a used car from here a few days ago. We were told the car had new brakes and was in great condition. After driving the car for one day the check engine light came on. We took the car to our mechanic and found out the car needed more work than it was worth. My husband called and spoke with one of the owners, Dale. He told us to bring the car in and we could trade it in for another car. He drove two equally problematic cars neither of which were ever inspected by their technicians. Dale told us point blank that the used trade in cars are never really looked at by a mechanic. This dealership is selling used cars that have never been inspected by their mechanics even though their website boasts that every used car has a thorough inspection by their expert technicians. I'm here to tell you that is not true. That is false advertising on the part of Benoy. Do not buy a car from here. The salesmen are liars, have no morals and do not sell quality cars.

Bought a "certified" Jeep and within a month battery died stranding my wife in the brutal cold, tires need to be replaced, transmission not working and brakes grinding by time of the first oil change. Trusted them to provide a dependable vehicle and very poor experience going with a local dealer.
Dwayne in sales told me he didn't sell me a poor vehicle, I bought one.
The Worst Used Car Buying Experience I've Ever Had - JAG
James Motor Sales is the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. I understand their reviews are really good and that’s why I shopped them. However, my experience was definitely not the same as everybody else’s on here. I traded in my baby a perfect 2005 Chevy Corvette and they have me a decent price on it, however the truck I bought on the trade was anything but. The day after I bought it a CEL came on for spot plugging of exhaust components. The truck ended up being very rusted out underneath when I actually put it up on a lift and had it inspected for a possible undercoat. The steering on the interstate is like driving a school bus from the 30’s and wanders heavily. The transmission Ian leaking and shifts with clunks (and not the normal firmness of a 1 ton truck) noticeable clunking, the diesel emissions system is sooted up hence the code. They reset the code before delivery and I didn’t see it. The truck has scratches all over it once the spray on wax or whatever they used rubbed off, and the door pillars have a plastic material coming off. Not what I expected for a $35,000 truck. After the sale was a nightmare. I told them I was misled on the truck and they blamed it on me and said I should have inspected it better. I asked for my Vette back and to unwind the deal, but of course, nobody wants to give up their commisions like the greedy salesmen they are, so they basically tell me tough luck The Vette was nowhere to be seen, probably the owner or some salesmen taking it home for the weekend on a joy ride. The dealership is horrible, and to do it to a Veteran, and someone who lives nearby in the local community down the road. There was no harm, no foul, but they wouldn’t make it right so here I am, stuck with no transportation because I returned the truck it was so bad. Guess it being for sale for over 6 months should have raised red flags but I just expected a dealership with ratings of this caliber to understand...wrong. Oh well, I’ll make sure everybody in Willis Tower and O’Hare International doesn’t make the same mistake...word of mouth travels extremely quickly in the truck and aviation world. In Sept 09, my college daughter Ashley Lynch purchased a 2003 Saturn Vue from you. A few month's later she received a recall notice on the transmission. She and I both contacted you, with no favorable response. We had hoped to resolve this issue before anything happened. She was advised by Saturn that they would pay 50% of the transmission replacement, which would be $2,400 out of her pocket - money that a college student doesn't have. I believe you knownly sold her the Vue with a faulty transmission. On Easter morning the transmission went out leaving her stranded, without a vehicle and out $7,400. Shame on your dealership for lacking honesty and integrety. What would I rate your service problem on a scale of 1 to 10? ONE

We purchased a used 2009 Ford Escape XLT last Saturday and had one of the most pleasant car buying experiences we have had.
When we arrived we were greeted by Tyler who was very friendly and helpful with locating the vehicle we came to see, without being pushy, During the purchase process we received a fair price for our trade-in and also the vehicle we purchased.
Harold was very helpful with the final paperwork and for getting us a very competitive rate on the financing.
While the vehicle was being prepped for us, we were introduced to the service manager who promptly gave us a coupon for a free oil change and told us of the free loaners available should we need one.
After having a bad experience at a different dealer the week before, we were pleasantly surprised with Coronet of Peru creating a atmosphere where you can feel comfortable and relaxed.

Right from the start my online inquiry was answered. by Jacob Packley. I went to the dealership to see the 2012 Lincoln MKZ., travelling from Joliet. Jacob met with me, he was very nice and personable. We went for a test drive he was very knowledgeable about the features of the car. Later we talked numbers, I met Bob the sales manager, he also was very nice. Jacob, Bob and I hammered out a deal and had a pleasant time doing that--no stress !!!! We agreed to finalize the deal on Mon. 12/7/15 as this was Sat. 12/5/15 and was getting dark. I don't like driving at night. So, Monday it was very foggy, Jacob, out of the kindness of his heart offered to drive to Joliet to get me. I am 65yrs. old and had concerns about the weather. I thought his coming to get me was so kind and considerate. We finished the deal, saw Bob again, met Mike in financing, had a great experience @ Greenway Automotive--thanks GUYS !!!!!!! TERRI LOUTOS
