We first went into the dealership to test drive a vehicle. We had made an appointment which was honored with no delays. After going over the vehicle with us, the sales rep, Ryan Hart let us take the vehicle out on our own. A week or two later we set up an extended test drive. Having completed that, we visited two other dealerships to get prices and trade-in appraisals. We went back to Ryan and agreed on a vehicle price and trade-in with little fuss. The vehicle was delivered that day with zero hassle. The entire experience was pleasant and without drama or problems.

My husband and I would give our experience at Classic a 5 plus if possible. Less than 3 years ago we leased a CX5 and we were more than pleased. Not just with the vehicle, it was Phil Albert that made an impact on both of us. What a kind, knowledgeable gentleman. Phil does not rush or push you into something. Although we couldn't close on the deal due to a significant dealer incentive out of the Cleveland area, I still feel a need to share my dealings with salesman, Steve Novak.
Steve was about as professional as they come. He kept me in the loop without going overboard and pestering me (there is a fine line there). He was honest, friendly and knowledgeable concerning the CX5 that I was punching.
I sure do recommend Steve if you are shopping at Eastside Mazda.

First time buying a Mazda. Worked with Tyler through all of the process. Tyler was great, active communication, pro activeness, and friendliness. Things hit a bit of a bump at the very end of negotiations though with Patrick, the Used Car Manager, who needed to sign off on the deal.
We're at the very end of negotiations, just fractions off from a deal. Patrick came over and said "I'm the only one who can sign off on this deal and I need to leave -now- as I'm late for an appointment so do we have a deal or not?" Didn't really like this as it rubbed me the wrong way in how he came over and put his personal needs ahead of mine, the customer. Find it hard to believe that it couldn't have been passed along to one of the other sales managers at the time to complete the deal that wasn't as rushed.
Not really a good customer moment as far as I'm concerned and the only blemish on what was an otherwise good car buying experience, but also one that is lingering with me since it happened at the very end.

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation but forgot the coupon. They gave me the coupon price anyway. Was very happy with the waiting area with a play place for kids and computer with internet to check email. I leased my car there, and they gave me a fair analysis of the advantages of leasing versus buying the car.

For the past year I have made several mentions of our CX-7 battery dying after 3/4 days of not driving it. I was told everything was fine. They finally performed diagnostics on the electric system and noticed a parasitic draw on the battery from the stock radio in the vehicle. Their response was try try and sell me on an $800+ head unit versus fixing their own workmanship.
Now I have an unreliable (and potentially unsafe) vehicle due to a faulty head unit in the vehicle. Was very disappointed they did not take responsibility.
