I found a great price online and knew I had wanted to downgrade from my truck to a mid-size SUV since I was commuting so much. My concern was with the trade-in of my truck since I had been hit in a parking lot and was unable to find the individual. This left my bumper pretty dented and needing repair. My trade-in was valued extremely fairly and met exactly what I wanted for it. LaRay was easy to work with throughout the entire process. As someone who also works in the financial services industry, I appreciated the directness and getting straight to the point. This enabled me to get in and out very quickly. I went there and dealt with them for 2 hours, I was surprised how little knowledge they had. I was more informed about available financing, and rebates. I found a better deal elsewhere, but it had a rebate with farm bureau. I called and asked my sales person if my “out the door deal price” included this and was told no. I asked if it was able to be honored. The salesman (brand new guy Glenn) put me on hold and asked his manager (Thomas) and was told yes, the $1000 rebate would reduce my sale price by $1000.
I left the dealer I was at, went back to Cleburne Ford, and after being there for an hour, they said “they made a mistake” and even though the told me it would be $1000 less, the rebate wasn’t compatible and would not apply. I asked why they wouldn’t honor their word, and they said they just can’t. They let me walk away disappointed and frustrated.
Fortunately I have a relationship with another dealer an hour away, they got me an even lower price on the identical vehicle, and found other rebates with USAA that we’re compatible, so I got my vehicle at an even lower price.
Shame I. Cleburne Ford, in my business when I say it’s a deal, I honor it, unfortunately Cleburne Ford will just life to try to close you, and then try to stick it to you if they can.

All I wanted to do was a tire rotation and an oil change . It took hours . I watched techs put my truck in the air and then just walk around . It does not take that long to drop oil . The tire rotation I can see some but if your busy and moving not that long also . Skinny jeans and vans is not my idea of a uniform . No one in that shop looked uniform .

I drove 4.5 hours from Oklahoma to look at a used 2014 Silverado they had for sale. After getting there they pull out the bare keys. I asked where the key fobs were. They tell me they don’t have them. I ask how do you use the remote start with no fobs. They tell me it doesn’t have remote start. The ad on Autotrader listed remote start. She goes and talks to someone and they agree to add remote start. I tell them if the truck has navigation, it came with remote start, they just need the fobs. They go to the truck and bring in the original sticker from when it was new. Plainly written on the sticker “Remote start”! I shoulda turned around and left! They disappear again and comeback with one fob. I asked where they found it, they say it was in someone’s desk drawer. They proceed to start the truck and it sounds like it has no exhaust at all. I test drive it, we get back and they asked what I thought. I told them it was too loud. They agree to reimburse me to fix the exhaust( which they did 3 weeks later). After I get the exhaust fixed I notice a vibration which I thought was the exhaust being dumped in front of the axle. I take it in to get the tires balanced. I notice it still has a vibration. I take it back to the people who balanced the first time. They do a road force balance and discover two of the tires are bad. I’ve since called my salesman and they told me to talk to Don Bailey, which I have left 3 voicemails for and has yet to call me back! I’ve called numerous other times to only be transferred to someone else’s voicemail, with no return calls!! I did finally talk to someone named Steve whose response was to me “Did you make it home”! Not a place that sounds like they take care of their customers. All this after their 125 point inspection!
My advice is to NEVER step foot inside any Autonation dealership!!!
I’m now in the process of taking the truck to a GM dealership to have the rough idle looked at. I’m hoping the Powertrain warranty will cover that.
This has been $1,000 out of my pocket and I haven’t even owned the truck a month. Their 125 point inspection is a joke!

30k service on 2016 Explorer, over $1000 - Explorer2016
Came in asking for just an oil change and multi-point inspection, vehicle had 29k miles. Claimed several items were required as part of 30k service "because that is what the iPad says" on a gently driven 2016 Explorer (e.g. several fluid changes, cleaning, alignment). I said ok but only for work that is required, service advisor looked me in the eye and said "absolutely". I later learned from Ford most of the work was not required. Should have been less than a $500 service. Even for the work done, seems grossly overcharged, service took them about 3 hours to complete and cost over $1000, materials were probably $100. Invoice total did not make sense relative to quotes provided for individual services performed.
Was promised opportunity to discuss necessity of work performed with technician upon pickup, when I arrived was told technician did not want to speak. Service advisor was unable to articulate why extra services were necessary. Fourth or fifth visit in 2 years and will be the last.

I wanted a new vehicle. Drove many cars suvs and trucks at many dealerships. Waxahachie Ford was unsurpassed. No pressure, just answers and suggestions. I am turned off by salesmen who want you to do everything they say instead of trying to find what I want to do and who don’t know how their vehicles work. I wanted adaptive cruise control and many test cars didn’t have it. Also some salesmen told me where to turn and got back to dealership before I could experience the cruise control even if it was on the car I was testing. Many didn’t know if it was stop and go cruise. Many didn’t know which cars had it.

Went to the dealership 2 Saturday’s ago. Told them what I wanted and told me no problem. Said we found your truck and it will be here Monday. Signed paperwork got into a loaner and drove off. Monday comes around no truck. Tuesday comes around no truck, all the way to Friday. Demanded my truck back and after refusing to leave the dealership they finally said it’s coming around. I hope the owner of this dealership gets to read this and somehow makes it right. John Boyd is nothing but a liar.

Brought vehicle in to address loud, reproducible, and acknowledged noise under truck. Service contact was able to hear noise and reproduce. Was told that there is a diagnostic process that would take place upon drop off. Was contacted shortly after drop off and informed nothing will be done for my issue. Was told that sometimes on other trucks, he has been able to repair noise and sometimes the repairs do not address the noise, but that for me, nothing will be done. Was told that all Ford trucks make this noise and that I need to deal with it as Autonation will not be addressing noise. At check-out received bill for diagnostic time of under warranty visit. Check-out attempted to call service contact to front and he never appeared. She agreed to not charge me for diagnostic time that was billed to me. I no longer enjoy my vehicle and feel that it is unsaleable for no one surely would be satisfied with an ever present knocking sound that I am told is unrepairable and told that every Ford truck has. I have not been able to find another Ford truck or speak with another Ford truck owner that has this noise present.

We came in to get a recall done on our mustang we strolled through the used cars and found a Fusion that we liked. Wifes Mustang came from this dealership back in 2006 when it was Texan Ford. So ours was 12 years old 177000 miles. It was time. Our sales person Mike Halasa was awesome. He was not the pushy salesman that we have had in the past at other dealerships. He made it a awesome time. He found some trim pieces broken and is having them replaced along with window tint. Now our finance person Kim Harris was the best. Made signing the papers fun. Very helpful and very good at her job explaining all the warranties and all other questions. She gave me a nickname as serial trader since I have had the 5 new cars since my wife has had one. She had me laughing and enjoying our time. This is how car buying should be. Got our payments where we wanted. AWESOME DEALERSHIP!!!!!!! As we were about to leave the check engine light came on.
