Easy to Wrok With! - Spaceydistress
Crystal Sanders has worked with me for a long time getting the right deal that works for me! Our schedules did not match up and John Little ended up helping me to finalize all my paperwork! These two are a dynamic duo, and will get everything to work out just right for you in the end!
Finance took a LOT longer than expected on a Monday, but make sure to get the representatives to help out when needed!

Another excellent car buying experience with Melanie - SDG
I called Melanie prior to our visit to the dealership to have the car we were interested in buying available and as in the past she had it ready when we arrived.
Melanie has been our salesperson for the last several cars we purchased for a reason. She knows her job is to make the customer happy, comfortable with the purchase and have everything in place.
Make sure to ask for Melanie when you want to buy your next car or truck.
Make sure to ask for Clay Young or Garret Tidman to be your Service Rep.

Walked in just to look. Walked out with a new Explorer! - Lynn and Monte
Sometimes, things just come together. This first visit to Bill Utter Ford, we were greeted by Kim Payne. Chatted a few minutes, mentioned we liked the Explorer Limited but had never even sat in one. Kim immediately brought out a brand new vehicle and my wife took the wheel for a test drive. That was it! Signed a few papers for Kim, did the same with finance officer Kenneth Carter, chatted with Carl "Butch" Anderson about Denton 'back in the day' and we were done. No high pressure to buy. No stress. No strain. Even got a nice deal on our Cadillac SRX trade. Bill Utter Ford gets our Five Star stamp of approval.
Great Experience! - paigelauren
I came in needing a larger vehicle for my job. I have purchase or leased my last 2 cars here. I had exceptional service and didn't feel the typical pressure to buy. Eric was a great salesman and helped get me in a big enough car and keep me within my budget! Patrick in finance was quick, and extremely helpful in giving me all of my options for warranty, gap, etc. Will definitely come back when I am ready for a new car! Referring these gentlemen as well! Thanks guys!
Transmission problems - Pete paupee palacios
Took our 2017 focus in for second time(1st time 7 months prior), George Barclay in the service took care of us. Never in our history of dealing with service dept. of dealerships have we experienced such outstanding treatment. George was attentive, explained everything that would be done, how, why, when it would new ready, etc, etc. He made our stay(wait) very pleasant. When we returned to pick up our vehicle a couple days later, George explained everything that was done, and any other questions we had.
We would like to say to Mike brown Ford that mr. Barclay is an asset to the company, great people skills, knowledgeable in his field.; knows how to treat customers, not like just a number. He is what quality service treatment is, thank you for having this gentleman in your employment.

2014 F-150 engine light cane on - James S
I had my 2014 Ford F 150 engine light come on at 122,000 miles. Worried it could be very expensive to fix I took my truck I took it to Town East Ford. I worked with Josh in service had my truck diagnosed and came up with a plan to get it back running smoothly. Josh took his time and worked with me to help save me money and make sure my truck will drive for another 100k Miles. I had oil changed as well. These guys at Town East are professional. Yes Josh had to tell me news I did not want to hear but he had a plan to help me figure it out. Great experience.

Excellent - hbraden
A top notch dealership worth the drive no matter where you are in DFW. You just aren't going to get the level of sincere service this dealership provides in the inner metropolis. My wife loves her Expedition Limited, thanks Darin Cooley and gang!
Top of the line!! - JOHN TADLOCK
I have been dealing with an awful service department over the last couple of days. And it reminded me why I love Texstar Ford so much. Sam, Brett and everyone person you deal with at that dealership is first rate.. It just doesn't get any better! To bad they don't sell Jeeps, my life would be so much easier.
Great Experience - Phil
I visited this dealership at the recommendation of two people I work with. They both told me I would be treated well there and I would like the dealership. They were correct, I was treated very professionally and I was treated like a family friend quite honestly. I want to thank Robert or Roberto and Mark for helping me. I suggest you go see them.

Dealership is very nice. All sales and finance staff are centralized and easy to locate.

Do not recommend - Jenna75754
I would give them 0 stars - I should have done this months ago but I got busy and am just now getting to it. As I go to file a complaint about Brinson Ford - Athens, I see that their ratings are already pitiful. Now it makes sense, they just don't care. My complaint is that they are very unethical and be sure to check your mileage of your new & old car before signing off on it. I don't see where they did anything illegal (or at least can't prove it because I was not there at the time of purchase). My 80 year old grandma with the help of a daughter purchased a used car from them in May. Several people pointed out that the car had a damaged frame (as if it had been wrecked and repaired). The dashboard lights would randomly come on, low tires/gas cap open/engine warning light/inaccurate cruise control setting. After repeated visits to Brinson Ford, the only suggestions the service department gave here was to trade it in for a price much lower than her purchase price. (Shortly after she purchased it, she went into the hospital for two weeks and then couldn't drive for another two weeks.) She went back 6/10, alone. She was talked into trading the used car that she owned less than two months for a new car. The paperwork says she drove over 600 miles in that short time. There is no way she even went 200 miles. She went in to speak with her salesman, Scot, and he convinced her that the Focus was not enough for her, she needed a Fusion. The owners manual was not in the car and after repeated requests, she said Jarvis Coper was very helpful and got that together with her plates and spare key. I went over all of the paperwork and went in to talk to the finance manager. The sale was done, we were not asking to give the car back and get our money. I wanted to know their side of the story before I posted her side on the internet. I asked if they told her how much she would be losing if she traded it in. Mike or Mark (whoever the finance guy is) said that they go over the numbers in detail. A typical "little old lady" isn't going to understand your "details" but she would understand if you said "you are about to lose $8000". These guys lack then ability to put themselves in the place of anyone else. All they are seeing is $$$$. My question was "how would you feel if your mother/grandmother/wife/sister/daughter felt like someone took advantage of them all because they didn't want to 'bother' you?" The guy was either flustered or didn't understand the policies that he is selling. He wanted to argue about her needing GAP insurance. I read the contract, we can call and cancel so that does not concern him. I had to correct him on how GAP insurance works. Hopefully he knows and was just caught off guard. As for the extended warranty, I wanted a refund for that. He did show me where they pro-rated it and applied it to her down payment on the new car, which is fair but was very rude and hostile about the entire situation. He then continued to argue the extended warranty sale on the new car and refused to refund that. He said it was not possible for the way they created the loan. When you choose 0% interest, you are losing out on other rebates. The dealers will push it but it is not always worth it. That was the case here. She bought a brand new car, got a $1500 rebate... so paid 1500 less than sticker price. When it comes down to it, they made a lot of money off this little old lady. Talking to him was like talking to a programmed minion, almost like he was reading a phrase it out of a book, repeating it over and over. He doesn't know anything but what he was told.

Matthew Hoopes worked hard at getting a deal for me. He seemed to cares about his job and the customers need. I would recommend taking to him when buying.
The worst experience after the sale of my truck - Anglinrb
I purchased a new f350 limited on Thursday and y’all were supposed to make delivery the next day to me it has now been 3 days of constant excuses from Aaron Melton
On why he can’t deliver
I have taken off work several days to receive this truck
And now he will not responded
I’m not sure this is how you treat a customer who spent 80k on a truck
But I can say I’m not impressed
Maybe this will get y’all attention and I will get a response
Owner Beware - dt480
This is the experience I had with Rockwall Ford, and the response that I emailed back for their customer survey...
Well, I can say one thing about the service that I received... I won't be back.
I scheduled a service appointment to have a recall performed on my 2016 Ford Fusion Monday 11, 2018.
While I was there I also wanted to have the transmission service performed (drain & fill not a "FLUSH").
When I came in and spoke to the Service Advisor about the recall, I told him verbatim "I want the transmission serviced, drain & fill "NOT A FLUSH" I was very clear. The Service Advisor, at that time gave no inclination that he didn't understand what I was asking for. I left and walked down the street to grab something to eat while I was waiting.
At about 30 minutes after I left, I received a call from Rockwall Ford, but now message left.
I returned the call, and spoke to someone in the service department, and told them that Rockwall Ford had called but didn't leave a message and I assumed it was from my Service Advisor and I was returning the call, I am assuming there is an issue or questions. The person that answered the phone stated that the Service Advisor was on the phone and he took my name and number and said that he would have the Service Advisor return my call back.
Approximately 2 hours go by and I received a call/voice mail stating my vehicle services was completed and ready for pick up.
I went to the Cashiers office and paid for the transmission service (drain & fill) that I had requested at the time (so I though) when I dropped off the vehicle. And that is where I noticed on the receipt that a "FLUSH" was performed, which I didn't understand, especially since I was very clear in my request and at the time the Service Advisor gave no indication that he didn't understand what service I was asking for.
So my first stop was with the Service Advisor, and asked why a "FLUSH" was performed and not the requested "Drain & Fill" that I requested.
He stated at that time, he miss understood me, when I told him I wanted a "Drain and Fill, not a FLUSH". During the discussion, I was very specific in not wanting a "FLUSH".
He then stated, "well, I called you because I wasn't sure and I never called him back"
So now I have a Service Advisor that is flat out lying to my face.
1. The Service Advisor stating he didn't understand what service I was requesting.
2. Then after the fact saying he called me, but I didn't call him back, which I can prove I did, by my phone records and time I was on the phone with the Rockwall Ford Service Dept. after I dropped off my vehicle.
I then discussed the flush procedure with the service manager, and how I don’t agree that it accomplishes what it accomplishes. He did show me the procedure, which I still don't agree with. There is several documented issues with using transmission flush machines at garages that can cause issues down the road...i.e left over incorrect trans fluid in the machine which then gets put in the car causing issues down the road, or don’t get the transmission up to temp (which only flushes the trans cooler), etc.., with several others. Which your Service Manager says is what happened, which I don’t believe based on the integrity issues I have already experienced with "your" Service Advisor.
So after the discussion with the Service Manager I was so furious that I left. I promise to "NEVER" be back. Which the funny part is, that I bought my Fusion from Rockwall Ford , and had all of my vehicle serviced at Rockwall Ford. Because you see, I am a Ford Family guy. ALL of my vehicle are Ford as my family has a long history working for Ford, but that’s besides the point.
But what literally pisses me off is that a service was performed that; 1. I didn't request (Flush instead of the drain and fill) 2. Nor did I authorize the Flush, your Service Advisor without confirmation, on which service I requested, because he apparently doesn’t understand the difference in the two.
3. I walked out, paying for a service that I didn’t request in the end.
4. So because of paying $165 for a service I didn't authorize, I will no longer purchase or service my 3 Ford's (Fusion,Taurus,F-150) with Rockwall Ford.
And what pisses me off even more is for your Service Advisor lied to my face, and I caught him in the lie, and just not fess up and say I made a mistake. Or how about get confirmation, before authorizing the work, which he must of because he made a phone call to me, after I dropped it off. But, he continued to deny it till the end, and say he miss understood me.
Because in the end, I'm the one that gets screwed with the service I didn't want/authorize but actually ended up paying for it.
Wouldn't that be like coming in for a flat tire, and walking out with a new car that I didn't agree too, when you specifically ask just to have the tire fixed?
So please explain to me, what you would of done differently....
So feel free to call me, but it better not be a Service Manager or Advisor, I have already been down that road and we can discuss this service call in more detail.
Great Price, Amazing Staff, Outstanding Car Buying Experienc - Dustin
We (my wife and I) were in the market for a new Ford Fusion. We must have contacted 10 dealerships in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area trying to score a good deal. Platinum Ford was the only one that shot us straight and didn't try to play all those shady car dealership games most of them like to play. They were willing to get us the car we wanted at a price we liked. Our sales guy Pete was amazing. No pressure, no hard sells, just friendly service. Thank you Pete! We handled the whole transaction via email and they had the car, and all the paperwork ready to go when we arrived. It was a quick in and out with a free bottle of water for the long drive home =) They definitely earned our business for life.
I've purchased 5 vehicles over the last 20 years and I have to say this is one of, if not the best car buying experience we've ever had. We drove over and hour and a half from our home to do business here but after the experience we had I would gladly drive from Houston or Austin to do business here. Its worth the drive! Shop them first and you won't need to shop anywhere else.
Excellent - Gary Stephens
Dealt with Eric Nelson the Internet Sales Manager for Ford. Started on the internet, then talked to Eric and went to the dealership. Eric was knowledgeable, answered all questions promptly and ultimately made a good deal. See Eric, you won't be disappointed.
SMOKE AND MIRROR'S AT ITS BEST : NOT THE SAME PLACE : - Colt
WOW TO SAY THE LEAST. NOT UNHAPPY AT ALL WITH ANY SALES REP. , UNHAPPY ABOUT SLOPPY COMMUNICATION . WASTED TIME AND ENERGY THAT COULD HAVE BEEN USED HELPING FEED THE HOMELESS @ THE LOCAL SHELTER . DO NOT WANT TO LIST NAMES NOR WHAT TRANSPIRED , AS THAT IS PRIVATE. IF A CUSTOMER MAKES A SPECIAL REQUEST FOR SPECIAL NEEDS IT SHOULD HAPPEN ACCORDINGLY BY THE BOOK . I KNOW THIS PLACE VERY WELL. SINCE 1975-1976 , TO CURRENT. HAD BEEN RIDING AROUND FOR DAYS IN A LOANER WAITING TO TAKE DELIVERY OF BRAND NEW CAR. CALLED THE SUPPLIER TO ASK HOW THINGS WERE GOING. IDENTIFIED MYSELF AS GRANDSON OF CARDEALER WHO FOR YEARS , TRUSTED A SUPPLIER FOR THIER WORK . WAS TOLD THAT THERE WERE NO CURRENT OPEN ORDERS FOR MY MAKE AND MODEL . WENT IMMEDIATELY TO AUTONATION / BRYANT IRVIN ROAD ; AND SEEMS LIKE THEY FOUND A WAY TO USE SOMEONE ELSE AND POCKET SOME MORE OF OUR FAMILYS MONEY . ABSOLUTELY WAS IN MELTDOWN MODE WHEN THE BOTTOM DROPPED OUT OF THIS CARDEAL . IF YOU ORDER YOURSELF A DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER WITH NO MUSTARD.....THAT MEANS......NO....MUSTARD...! ! THESE FOLKS SPREAD MUSTARD ALL OVER MY CAR DEAL. I WILL SAY A GOOD THING ABOUT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT...SUSAN LEE SURE KNOWS HER WAY AROUND A DIESEL ENGINE....MAYBE THEY CAN ELEVATE HER TO DEALERSHIP MANAGER...OUR FAMILY LOVES HOW SHE HAS HELPED US , MANY , MANY , TIMES.
Horrible - chris
I attempted to buy a truck here, the sales guy tried to argue with me and tell me a rear locker was the same as 4x4. Then they offered me an insulting price for my trade well below what other dealers had offered. When I asked for my key so I could leave the salesman left and came back with a manager and no key like they were holding me hostage, Would NOT recommend.
Worst Service Experience - 00000
Went in for an oil change tire rotation and balance after keeping my truck for 3 days overall (several trips back for problems) I now have 4 scuffed rims and 2 with huge gouges in them and my oil light is now back on. The service manager and Johnny Murray will not do anything to resolve my issues. Not to mention I was treated very poorly by the service manager this has been the worst customer service I've ever experienced! Very disappointed in the local ford dealership
Bad service - Truckman1225

Best Ford Dealer EVER!!! - Jacque Reese
This dealership is the absolute best!!! Chris Stroud went above and beyond on this deal. They started out $2k higher on my trade than anyone else. Worked with me to get one car sold and the other traded in. Searched tirelessly to find the exact vehicle I wanted and went to get it! Put me in a loaner vehicle while they looked. Very professional. Very friendly. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone. We are customers for life!!! BUY LOCAL!!!
