I called the dealership to schedule an oil change and tire rotation and to have a recall done and spoke with Mike Weinstein and explained to him my situation that I could only have service done on the weekend so he told me that I could drop my car off on Friday so I could have my car to take my husband to Chemotherapy during the week. He told his coworkers my situation and they took care of my car immediately and I had my car back in an hour he told me that he did not want me to worry about not having my car for the weekend in case of an emergency. I feel the dealership went above and beyond for me. Mike even gave me a hug and wished me well with my husband who has terminal cancer.

Well originally found the car on the internet. Cannot remember what site it was but that don't matter. What matters is a service that I received after contacting them. I was debating going look at it or not it was a hundred miles from me. And I happen to check the Carfax which stated it was done by a local car dealer which is only about 5 miles from me. Lou Ricci of Taylor. I was greeted by a gentleman named Joe sitting at the first desk. And I inquired about the car he says yeah that's a car from one of our sister dealerships cool I said. So we handled all the paperwork and transaction rate at the Taylor store. Between communication with Joe and Dwayne at Marlette Jeep and Chrysler dealer in Marlette Michigan. They managed to get me a fantastic deal into play. So I took my trade to Marlette Michigan which was a nice long Cruze about 2 hours. And met Dwayne there at 8:30 in the morning we finish the transaction. I got to drive my new ride home I cannot think of a better way to test drive a car. Been bringing my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan here for service since I bought it new, and as a 10 year old car with 200,000+ miles, it needs its share of work. Everytime I've brought it in, the service advisors and mechanics have been thorough, fair and have provided quality work.
I highly recommend and would only buy Chrysler vehicles with the Maximum Care Warranty package, google it. It gives you lifetime unlimited miles mechanical coverage.

LaFontaine personnel takes the time to go over all the "bells and whistles" of my new vehicle and has always been courteous and very professional. Nightmare Experience - PissedOff
2015 JK got damaged in a bad accident. Took it to this dealership and they took about 3 times as long as they said they would. Go to pick it up and the fenders and rocker panels weren't even tightened down. They tighten that up, and after 1 day of driving we notice it wobbles and squeaks and rides horribly. Oh, and the roof got smashed up in the accident and they stored it outside without a tarp, so it was mildewy and gross when they returned it. And the door doesn't close right. So I bring it back and say it wobbles and squeaks, etc. They replace a control arm and give it back. It's still really screwed up so I take it to a shop, they immediately tell me the axle shaft is bent to ****. And they told me the door wasn't even tightened at all, and that's why it wouldn't close properly or stay closed. I wouldn't let this dealership fix my bicycle wheel if my life depended on it.

I've taken my car to Cueter for about 8 years and after my last experience, I will never return and I will never recommend them.
I needed my front wheel hubs/bearings, control arms, and swaybar endlinks replaced. Since I wanted to replace my bushings with performance polyurethane bushings, I had to order them myself and bring them in. My service advisor told me it would be no problem and they would just charge me for labor. I had all the parts in last Monday. On Thursday my advisor called me to tell me it would cost a bit more in labor to replace the bushings instead of the entire control arms. I told him I already figured that and told him the same thing on Monday. He said ok it should be done that day. Friday I call him and find out the mechanic doesn't think the bushings are the correct parts for my car. I looked it up and they were indeed the correct parts according to the manufacturer. I told my service advisor and he said he'd have a chat with the mechanic. I never got a call back. Saturday I tried calling a few times and never got a call back. Monday I call and finally get a hold of someone. Apparently my service advisor went on vacation, leaving me completely in the dark about my car. I asked my new service advisor if he knew what was up with my car. He said he'd have to find the paperwork and call me back. Never did. Tuesday I finally got a hold of him and he told me the mechanic doesn't feel comfortable putting the bushings in. I asked him if he could go on the manufacturer website and see that the parts are indeed correct. He said ok and never called me back. Wednesday I called and he told me the manager said they won't do it because he called AUTOZONE (NOT the manufacturer; just the supplier) and they told him they didn't think the parts were right. Even though it does say even on their website that the parts are right for my model car specifically.
Friday I went in and talked to the manager directly. I asked him if he remembered me from about a month prior when my girlfriend was also left in the dark about her car being looked at. He said he remembered me. I asked him why I was left in the dark by 2 separate service advisors. He didn't even apologize! Chad was a total xxxxxxxxx to me and acted like I was the burden on them! After the conversation went absolutely nowhere, he offered to take $70 off my bill. I told him I'd have to consider the situation and he threatened me with a mechanic's lien as if I would take my car back without paying. I've never been treated so badly by a manager like that. I didn't even receive any kind of apology.
I left and returned later to get this all over with and pay my bill. I told the cashier he offered to take $70 off the bill and I showed her a coupon that was mailed to me that would take 15% off. I also had rewards points to use from a credit card that I applied for FROM THE DEALERSHIP. The cashier said she'd have to check with the manager. My service advisor came up to me and told me the manager wasn't going to take more than $70 off the bill, even though the 15% off coupon would've taken off more than that. He also said my credit card rewards points could only be used for parts; not labor. I looked this up and this was not true. They finally used my points but would not accept my coupon.
Unbelievable and completely unacceptable. Cueter's service department has gone way downhill over the past few years. They used to have a very considerate manager that always made sure I was taken care of. The master mechanic that worked on my car since I started going there is no longer with them, even though they still have his certifications displayed in their window. They didn't have the certification of the current mechanic that worked on my car this time.

This dealership had the car we wanted at the price we wanted. Our salesman was very nice. The guys in the showroom were not friendly or accommodating. No one here seems to know how to greet a customer. I’m standing here waairing for a plate and no one has offered me a place to sit, even though I was told it would be 10 minutes. Not to mention the loud and unprofessional conversation happening as we were working out the details with our lovely salesman. Lastly, the finance guy was up selling to my husband and me and we weren’t interested. But he pushed, and tried to make us feel foolish for not getting gap coverage. My husband got the car he wanted at a fair price. But the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. We will not be returning.

Scheduled to bring our vehicle in for a repair (second Town and Country to have the same issue so must be pretty common problem). Had to wait a week for a date to bring it in. Even after having an appointment, it took 2 days for them to even look at the vehicle only to discover they needed a part.
This is the same part (a simple switch) our previous van had needed and it would take 3 days to get the part in. Frustrating that it took days even with an appointment for them to look at the vehicle and then not to have the part and it takes 3 more days to get it. I've never had good service from this dealer but this was about as bad as it gets. This was towards the end of our lease and I ended up getting my next vehicle from a different Chrysler dealer - won't go back to Southfield again.
Extraordinary experience - PapaWiz
After destroying my beautiful Ford Hybrid in a head on crash I began the arduous task of finding a replacement. Since my needs were specific: must be capable of flat towing behind an RV, the choice came down to three vehicles. The search began as I compared specs, safety, options, reliablity, and appearance. I thought I had found the perfect vehicle (NOT the same manufacturer) but the salesperson left me questioning why I couldn’t get a better deal than they offered for a 2018 vehicle. So I went to the next vehicle on my list and searched Jeep dealers within 200 miles for that perfect match. Meanwhile the other salesperson texted and called me to say his ‘manager’ had okayed additional savings on the former vehicle....hmm.....sounds like that ‘other interested party’ wasn’t all that interested. Well, I saw this 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk at LaFontaine in Fenton.....it was a little more than I wanted to spend but my wife and I decided to check it out, along with a Jeep Cherokee Overland. Our salesperson, John, was attentive to our needs, asked important questions, and actually had a great working knowledge of flat towing and he showed us both vehicles. As I always to my research I thanked him and told John I would come back for a test drive (it was after closing on a Saturday but John said it didn’t matter). We drove both vehicles and decided on the Trailhawk. John began crunching numbers and we received some nice rebates. John also ran comparisons between rebates and 0% financing to see which better fit our budget. We worked out a deal and he told us we could come back at 16:00 (it was 13:00 at the time) to sign papers and take our new baby home. When we arrived at 16:00 everything was ready. They even had the paint and windshield treatment done. It took us until 17:15 to complete the paperwork, vehicle introduction, and necessary licensing. I drove away with my new 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk 4x4 with a full tank of gas and a satisfied feeling. Shappa, her name from the Lakota tribe which means Red Thunder, is sitting at her new home and I anticipate years of use. Thanks John, Jarred, and the entire LaFontaine team. I trust every salesperson is as attentive as John.
