My experience with Mannie was truly a great one. I was riding down I-10 Saturday went by their lot looked at a Buick Encore. I had dealt with several dealerships who told me the could finance may at 17% to 18% on used autos due to having lower credit score as I've have several identity thefts against me. I decided to call West Point after I left the lot and spoke with Mannie explained my situation he told me we definitely can help. In my mind Im like right will be the same high interest rate. I turned around went back to West Point met with Mannie and 2 hrs later I left with a 2018 Buick Encore and a 7.9 % interest rate. Thanks so much Mannie and David, finance you are guys are awesome. POSITIVE EXPERIENCES FOR SEVERAL YEARS - Jeep
We have bought our last several cars from Bounds. Knowing the family gave us confidence we were in good hands. Anytime there seemed to be a glitch, it was quickly tended to and corrected. All seven cars were well priced and we got good trades for our old cars. My husband died and I am about to embark on a new car search. Even though I now live in the Hill Country, I'm probably going back to Bounds. I know I can trust them and they will do me right.
GO TO SEWELL CADILLAC - NOT THIS SHADY PLACE - Cadillac Owner
They only care about selling you a new auto. Not servicing your existing auto. Have had Escalade in numerous times for multiple issues. They usually get it on the third try. Latest issue is they won't honor a warranty for chrome coming off my wheels of a 3 year old auto with $24K miles on it. $80K for an auto that has peeling wheels! Go Figure! My next auto will be a Ford or a Chevy. These are overpriced and not worth it.

I am not one to leave a review, ever. After the entire process of trading a vehicle at this place, I had come to the conclusion, that car buying, and selling can leave the consumer very vulnerable. Long story short, I signed a contract on 10-10-16, and the finance guy didnt get the deal done untill days before Thanksgiving. I was told they were waiting on tax return documents to come back. After doing some research myself, that was in fact untrue. My trade-in had a loan at a local credit union, and the loan was showing to be late due to the pay off not being received for almost 2 months. I took a big hit on my credit score with the payment not being made. Then, the icing on the cake was getting a call from the finance manager (Mr Herrera) that I needed to come in and sign a new contract, because the original numbers wouldnt work with the bank, and this time around I needed 1000.00 down to complete the deal. I said no, I just want my trade back and want to be done with this place. He screamed at me over the phone that they didnt need my money, and went on and on about how they lost so much money on my deal. Which he then later called and apologized for his behavior on the phone, Im guessing someone heard him yelling at me. Once again, not my problem, I just wanted my truck back. I went back up there the following day after work, (mind you, its quite a drive) with my small children to resign the paperwork. Not one apology, not one sorry for the inconvenience, but rather a confused almost rude finance guy. He was in a hurry to get me out of there. Finally after almost 2 months of driving a vehicle I wasnt even sure that I owned, I was done with this place. I wasnt someone going in with a bad credit score, or needed a last resort, I was shopping here because I had heard great things, so I went. It was a nightmare, and did I mention I went through this process 9 months pregnant? Needless to say I wont recommend any of my clients/friends, I cant imagine anyone having to go through that nonsense. On the flip-side, Khan was super nice, and not his fault the finance department was horrible.

I bought a used 2014 dodge 2500 from Gulf Coast Chevy. On the test drive the check engine light came on and they promised they would fix it so i went on and singed the paper work. 2 weeks later they told me it was ready. I picked it up and the check engine light came back on. I called several times and let them know even texted the sales person and got no response. Mean while i was left with a $1500.00 repair bill on something they assured me would be fixed.

I have no complaint with the salesman Michael Ballard. He only did what he was told by the sales manager. I traded in 2 vehicles, a 2005 Chevrolet ¾ ton crew cab w/ 4 WD, diesel that had less than 25k miles and in excellent condition. I also traded a 2014 Mercedes C250 sedan with 5k miles. After almost 2 hrs. of going back and forth the sales manager told my salesman they couldn’t give me more than 41k for the 2 vehicles. This process included at first not honoring the internet price. According to all trade in values I researched the value of both vehicles and found the value at the least 46k. A friend was interested in the truck and called in the AM on the 11th. After calling 3 times he was told the truck had already sold that morning. He asked the price and was told for 25k. I DO NOT like being lied to. I blame your sales manager. I know you are in business to make money, but I think 6500. on one trade is too much. I went in with trade in values I had researched and had online offers above what you allowed. I have purchased 8 new vehicles in the last 6 yrs. and this was the first time I traded. You got to me this time, but you will never get another chance. I told the salesman that that was the first time I had ever purchased a vehicle without pricing other dealers. Shame on me! Thanks for the worst auto deal of my life and I will let all know about this. Your reputation of being dishonest with customers will hurt you and your dealership.

Purchased A 2500 hd truck in April. First trip transmission cooler was plugged by Mayflies (love bugs) Complained to the Owner in Law (Darrel) and he promised the problem would be brought to a quick resolution with GM . Never heard from him again. November the steering became very loose . Took it to Laroche and they fixed the problem . Turns out GM had issued a bulletin to correct the problem. The dealer Laroche and General motors did not notify me or anyone of the safety issue.
Today my battery went dead and I charged the battery to take the truck into Laroche to save them from having to two me in. They tested the battery and said it was rechargeable so no replacement.
No more GM Chevrolet and laroche for me. I am so upset with them I am moving my church Membership to another congregation. (The Pews are full of Laroch people)

Made appointment on Thursday and dropped off our work truck. Called on Friday and they said they would look at it Monday or Tuesday. Called again on Tuesday. Service tech said he would start after lunch and call me back. Inquired about loaner. He used usual excuse they were all out but he would try. Never heard from him again. Called on Monday. Got put on hold. Left message for service manager. Second one. Called again got general manager. Service manager called me back in 30 minutes. Said he would be looking at truck and would loan us a service truck that had to be cleaned. Called later. Suddenly they had looked at truck and problem was not as bad as they thought. Got call 2 hours later and truck was ready. So unhappy with service. They said they had lots of repairs before me. Kept truck for 8 days. Lousy company. Bought truck there but never again.

We were looking for a truck and looked all across Texas. I found the truck we bought on ebay from this seller but i think they go by Gulf Coast Chevy now but the address is for this dealer off google maps. May be a name change.
Anyways after working through ebay with Todd Baker We did a surprise drop in since it was close to where we live. After taking a test drive we came back and made a deal that we just could not let go.
While we waited for finance to go through we decided to leave the dealer to go to Lake Jackson. I think they were worried we would not come back but they did not chase us down or try to keep us there (unlike some dealers i know). They called us while the wife and I were eating lunch and gave us the scoop and we told them done deal we will be back shortly.
Long story short this was the best and least hassle free buying experience we have had yet buying a vehicle. Everyone was was great to work with. If you check them out ask for Todd and tell him the Pennington's sent you.
