Marjorie Mroz is the Best!! - J and D
Marjorie Mroz helped us find exactly the truck we were looking for. She was professional, caring and very helpful as we lost our vehicles in the flood. We appreciate her dedication and expertise in showing us around the dealership, introducing us to the service department, and making us feel comfortable in our decisions concerning our purchase. Please know we will be referring anyone who needs to buy a vehicle to this dealership, and to ask for Marjorie Mroz. This is how car buying should be!! Thank you!

Bart Dunn and Chris Easterling made the process so easy. Bart even drove the vehicle I was interested in to me to pick me up to come in and finish the paperwork. It was the best car buying experience ever. Whole process took two hours. Thank you Chris, Thank you Bart. You guys deserve a raise.
Bad experience! - Lawrence Duncan
When I called to make a service appointment I was placed on hold for a few minutes during which time I heard about the Friday Special Oil Change for $12.95. When my call was answered I asked for a Friday appointment but was advised that Friday's are very busy and hectic days but since I purchased the vehicle from Finnegan my oil changes would ALWAYS be $12.95. I then made the appointment for Thursday.
I also told the service adviser that I had received a mailer last week from GMC/Finnegan with an oil change coupon..one minor problem, it had expired the first week of September. I received no explanation for this but was again reminded that my oil changes would ALWAYS be $12.95.
Imagine my surprise when I looked at the bill. When I questioned why it was not $12.95 I was told that the Yukon needed more oil. Finnegan knew it was a Yukon when I made the appointment but still told me $12.95.
And just to make sure my experience was a bad one my vehicle was returned to me unwashed.
If a dealership wants to sell me new vehicles in the future hen this is not he level of service I expect.
My truck - Bfish123
Kevin was excellent and upfront with everything. My truck was completely taken care of and returned clean. Great experience and I highly recommend! I will continue to do business with them.
Fantastic experience - wing66
Found the unit I wanted to purchase on the internet. Made a cold call to the fleet dept. as per my company rules. Mr. Gary West delivered everything he said he would when I arrived in person. Great Experience
Dishonest on trade values! - JCS1
I have no complaint with the salesman Michael Ballard. He only did what he was told by the sales manager. I traded in 2 vehicles, a 2005 Chevrolet ¾ ton crew cab w/ 4 WD, diesel that had less than 25k miles and in excellent condition. I also traded a 2014 Mercedes C250 sedan with 5k miles. After almost 2 hrs. of going back and forth the sales manager told my salesman they couldn’t give me more than 41k for the 2 vehicles. This process included at first not honoring the internet price. According to all trade in values I researched the value of both vehicles and found the value at the least 46k. A friend was interested in the truck and called in the AM on the 11th. After calling 3 times he was told the truck had already sold that morning. He asked the price and was told for 25k. I DO NOT like being lied to. I blame your sales manager. I know you are in business to make money, but I think 6500. on one trade is too much. I went in with trade in values I had researched and had online offers above what you allowed. I have purchased 8 new vehicles in the last 6 yrs. and this was the first time I traded. You got to me this time, but you will never get another chance. I told the salesman that that was the first time I had ever purchased a vehicle without pricing other dealers. Shame on me! Thanks for the worst auto deal of my life and I will let all know about this. Your reputation of being dishonest with customers will hurt you and your dealership.
POSITIVE EXPERIENCES FOR SEVERAL YEARS - Jeep
We have bought our last several cars from Bounds. Knowing the family gave us confidence we were in good hands. Anytime there seemed to be a glitch, it was quickly tended to and corrected. All seven cars were well priced and we got good trades for our old cars. My husband died and I am about to embark on a new car search. Even though I now live in the Hill Country, I'm probably going back to Bounds. I know I can trust them and they will do me right.
Worse than Third Rate Used car dealership - CherylD
They did not honor their advertised price, did not perform their 172-Point vehicle inspection and recondition check, then wrecked my SRX the day they were to deliver it and do not want to completely repair the body work. "Attitude reflects Leadership!" resonates Extremely poor customer service and poor service repair all the way to the top, General Manager K. Cooper.
8 Days before they looked at my vehicle - James Farrell
8 days and a $450 Hertz Rental Car bill later I get a call to let me know that the issue with the vehicle is not covered under warranty. The service department was so busy it took going down to the dealership a second time to even get them to look at it. In 20 minutes they diagnosed the problem, fixed it and charged me $90 for the work. That is reasonable and understand, but the fact it took 8 Days to even look at it is unacceptable and the fact they knew this and put us in a rental car is even worse (Just because its not covered under warranty. I have called multiple times to explain my case and the service guy is nice enough but says there’s nothing he can do. I would not recommend using this dealership for any service work as they think 8 Days is a reasonable amount of time for your vehicle to be parked before being looked at. Never in my 30 years of dealing with Car dealerships have I ever heard of or experienced this type of service. Even if this was covered under warranty GM is going to pick up the cost? I doubt they would have covered all those days.
used truck - William
I bought a used 2014 dodge 2500 from Gulf Coast Chevy. On the test drive the check engine light came on and they promised they would fix it so i went on and singed the paper work. 2 weeks later they told me it was ready. I picked it up and the check engine light came back on. I called several times and let them know even texted the sales person and got no response. Mean while i was left with a $1500.00 repair bill on something they assured me would be fixed.
Headache to say the least. - Brandy Riley
I am not one to leave a review, ever. After the entire process of trading a vehicle at this place, I had come to the conclusion, that car buying, and selling can leave the consumer very vulnerable. Long story short, I signed a contract on 10-10-16, and the finance guy didnt get the deal done untill days before Thanksgiving. I was told they were waiting on tax return documents to come back. After doing some research myself, that was in fact untrue. My trade-in had a loan at a local credit union, and the loan was showing to be late due to the pay off not being received for almost 2 months. I took a big hit on my credit score with the payment not being made. Then, the icing on the cake was getting a call from the finance manager (Mr Herrera) that I needed to come in and sign a new contract, because the original numbers wouldnt work with the bank, and this time around I needed 1000.00 down to complete the deal. I said no, I just want my trade back and want to be done with this place. He screamed at me over the phone that they didnt need my money, and went on and on about how they lost so much money on my deal. Which he then later called and apologized for his behavior on the phone, Im guessing someone heard him yelling at me. Once again, not my problem, I just wanted my truck back. I went back up there the following day after work, (mind you, its quite a drive) with my small children to resign the paperwork. Not one apology, not one sorry for the inconvenience, but rather a confused almost rude finance guy. He was in a hurry to get me out of there. Finally after almost 2 months of driving a vehicle I wasnt even sure that I owned, I was done with this place. I wasnt someone going in with a bad credit score, or needed a last resort, I was shopping here because I had heard great things, so I went. It was a nightmare, and did I mention I went through this process 9 months pregnant? Needless to say I wont recommend any of my clients/friends, I cant imagine anyone having to go through that nonsense. On the flip-side, Khan was super nice, and not his fault the finance department was horrible.
We were looking for a truck and looked all across Texas.... - Rarshaiz
We were looking for a truck and looked all across Texas. I found the truck we bought on ebay from this seller but i think they go by Gulf Coast Chevy now but the address is for this dealer off google maps. May be a name change.
Anyways after working through ebay with Todd Baker We did a surprise drop in since it was close to where we live. After taking a test drive we came back and made a deal that we just could not let go.
While we waited for finance to go through we decided to leave the dealer to go to Lake Jackson. I think they were worried we would not come back but they did not chase us down or try to keep us there (unlike some dealers i know). They called us while the wife and I were eating lunch and gave us the scoop and we told them done deal we will be back shortly.
Long story short this was the best and least hassle free buying experience we have had yet buying a vehicle. Everyone was was great to work with. If you check them out ask for Todd and tell him the Pennington's sent you.
I had a very easy time buying a car. There was no back... - uhsigep96
I had a very easy time buying a car. There was no back and forth. I called Robert, he gave me a pretty good price that was within a few 100 dollars of a couple of other dealerships but he answered all my questions in a non carsaleman kind of way. Just a friendly guy. I showed up and he sold me the car for the price he quoted. I had no haggle. I paid cahs and they showed me warranty info and other finance things and when I declined them they were okay. They didn't threaten me or take my car away. Just a stand up guy.
