Wonderful experience - Quangn
My mom and I have gone to different dealerships to browsing vehicles that met our budget and understand our needs. But none of them Are promised like what they said . I have to say that my experience that I had with Mr Andy Tran was phenomenal. We both end up purchased our CR-V from him becuase of his sincerity and passion product knowledge of the vehicles which persuaded us to purchase a vehicle from him . I hate going to dealership but he make us great buying experience and the process more efficiently. Im truly appreciated his passion and enthusian .
Superior Express Service - William18023
I purchased a used car from a competitor and today realized they did not perform a service before selling the car to me. And yet a different dealership who promised a complimentary oil change, did not come through,
This is the dealership that I will be coming to for service from now on. All the worn parts on my car were professional discussed with me after the oil change. Instead of waiting, I decided to take the advice of Joe. His professionalism, concern, and honesty was welcomed. I can now see why my brother and his family have used this dealership all their lives. My next car will be purchased from this excellent dealership.
Being in customer service myself, it is always a treat to discover honesty. One cannot be honest to others until they are honest with themselves! Thank you, Joe, for helping me today!

I'll Be Back! - Ti Thor
I went to Gillman first and had a horrible experience - I felt hustled, pressured, and when I chose to walk I had to ask for my trade-in back seven times before they gave it back to me. Seven. Totally different experience at John Eagle. They were friendly, helpful, gave excellent all-around customer service and didn't for even a second make me feel rushed and hustled. It sounds silly, but while I was signing my paperwork I was given 3 bottles of water in addition to what I was offered when I arrived; at the other dealer I was there for 4.5 hours and never even offered 1, so those water bottles became very symbolic of my entire car-buying experience. Bottom line: John Eagle is the way to go if you want to be treated like a human and not a number.

My experience was fast and easy my husband had been dealing with Ryan over text and he was wonderful. When I arrived he was not in so someone else helped me out. When Ryan arrived he went far and beyond to make sure they had taken good care of me.
Dont stand behind defects in service department - Isbellan
Brought my car to Sterling McCall Honda after the Glass sunroof spontaneously exploded. Nothing has hit it and there weren’t any issues with it. In looking this problem online others have had this problem too and it is attributed to either a manufacturing error in the safety glasses or a problem when it was installed too tightly. This dealership knows of this issue and kind of shrugged their shoulders and won’t take care of it. They want you to submit it to your own insurance even though it’s through no fault of yours or anyone else’s except theirs. I was about to go buy a Honda Pilot for myself. I will not buy from a dealership that won’t stand behind a defect in its own vehicles.
Best sales team! - George fullen
I went in to buy a honda ridgeline. But I was way upside down on used car I was in already. Was told other dealer I need $5,000.00 down with trade. Did not get ridgeline. But salesman got me out of bad car and into a 2014 nissan frontier with $0.00 down out of my pocket. Best sales man Brett Bailey and manager team I ever worked with. Would recommend anyone to buy from streater smith honda!
SCAM ON CERTIFIED VEHICLES - Luis Rondon
I bought a "Certified" used Honda Accord in September 2017, only 4 months after I almost crashed because 3 out of 4 tires were in worst possible shape, they sale you a vehicle as " Certified" and is not because is not safe to sale a Vehicle with tires in that condition. I am filling a complaint in the BBB because it cost me almost $700 out of my pocket after purchasing a $20.000 vehicle. The used car Manager is the worst, not helpful, very bad attitude toward buyers. Not happy at all with these people from Honda of Katy
Experience with new car purchase - Anonymous
I had been to many dealerships around League City & Cleae Lake Area. Each dealership had pressured myself into purchasing a car. However Honda Dealership in Clear Lake never onced made me feel pressured to purchase a car. I never intended to purchase a Honda but after the test drive I was sold!. The overall experience was very professional, the purchasing was simple, and the staff was greatly professional. I LOVE my Honda!
Above and Beyond Service - RMorris
We've been a customer of Spring Branch Honda for about 20 years. 99.99% of the time, everything is smooth. Recently we had an on-going problem with a tire. Neither Discount or NTB could find the problem, and Spring Branch just kept filling up the tire with air every month or so. Spoke with Mr. Ali Bharwani about the issue and he was very understanding and told me to bring the vehicle in the next morning. They found a pinhole size leak in the tread. Fixed the issue, refilled all the tires with nitrogen and provided courtesy transportation to and from work. Did I mention they didn't charge us for the non-warranty work? Now that's customer service. So in the long run they will benefit from our loyalty, but I wanted to share that this dealership and service manager really do care about their customers. Many thanks.
AMAZING! - Ace & Tonia
Just wanted to let everyone know that this has truly been the BEST car buying experience we have ever had hands down. This is truly what buying a car should be like. I have already recommended them to a couple of my friends!
Terrible business practices and severe phone spam. Beware! - D. Martinez
I have so many bad things to say about this dealership. I will start by saying that soon after I left my info online so that I could receive a quote for a new vehicle, Gillman was the first dealership to contact me. Their prompt reply made me want to go and deal with them, based on my belief (then), that they were good at providing customer service.
It was not until I went there, that I found out they have terrible business practices. They quoted me a car significantly higher than the published sticker price. They tried to justify the high purchase price based on some accessories and upgrades that they had already included on the car, which of course were not requested by me. Simple items such as window tint and wheel locks, were in their minds enough reason to cheat me out of a few thousand dollars more.
That made me feel bad and thought on going out to a second Honda dealership, but they still asked me to leave a deposit down for them to separate my car before leaving. Something which made me feel even worst about such experience.
I ended up going to a second dealership the next morning, and after receiving a very good treatment and a completely transparent offer at such place, I ended up buying the most equipped car in that segment for a better price than the one quoted by Gillman a day before. If you are interested in a Honda and live around Houston, I recommend going to Honda Cars of Katy. They give you more than what is promised and for a much better deal. I suggest avoiding Gillman even if you live next door to their place.
Finally, even though I informed the salesperson and his manager, which by the way called me not less than 10 times within 24 hours, that I had bought the car that I was looking for at another dealership, they still call me every day and leave a message on my cell phone offering me a great deal and asking me what is required for them to get my business. They guy who calls has left several (exceeding 20 messages) in my voicemail and I can barely understand his messages.
I have bought several cars during the past 8 years, and this visit to Gillman Honda in Houston has been by far, the only terrible experience that I have seen. I wish they would stop bothering me right away!
I wonder if other clients have suffered with the same terrible customer service at their store and the extreme phone harassing techniques after that first visit.
