I really appreciate his ability to research, listen, and think outside the box. He answered all my questions and made sure all my car's technology options were set up to my preference before I left the dealership.

Nothing as promised - Camoman
After a three week advanced appointment for a 2 hour estimated repair turned into over 5 hours of waiting and a 2.5 hour wait on a promised shuttle to the shopping center just 2 miles away. So we declined when told it would be another hour til car was done ...2.5 hours later we're told only 15 minutes more....OMG this is the worst expierence ever...empty coffee pot, no snacks and waiting for people to go and get back from lunch had to reschedule our lunch plans and work day ...just very frustrating when people don't do as promised or respect your time...I'll find another Kia dealer to get my business.

DO NOT BUY HERE!!! Finance/Tag Service (Still not Resolved) - RP
DON'T BUY HERE!!! I cannot get anyone to actually send off my tags (as they said they would) in a timely manner or to the correct depts. Come 2.5 months later and I still have no tags. The guys in "finance" said he was "too busy" to handle though he was the one who assured it would be done, and done in a timely manner. Now I am having to get creative and possibly drive 8 hours to let the DMV inspect my car. All because they took 1.5 months to send it out. Despite me asking while I was available in town and offering to go down to DMV myself, which they assured was not necessary. Only good parts were Linda Muhammad in Sales and Krystal in Customer Service (so far). I would take the car back in a heart beat. These people at Parkway Family Kia (mostly DAN) are unprofessional and have no working knowledge of processing tags nor customer service. But to be fair I have been passed to the next person for so long I believe I am being passively "handled" by the sales manager Muhammed. Also the individual responsible for tags is instructing me to register the tags illegally. In full summary, they don't care after they get you to sign on the dotted line. Mostly 2 hour lunches and not being able to get the AL DMV office phone number (that took 3 weeks...hint you can look it up online; but he was busy so I gave it to him) and trying to register the "easy" (but illegal) way is in their interests. Don't do it! Don't Do It!!! DON'T DO IT!!!! If you were thinking the sales group is great and it would be a great fit - DON'T DO IT!!! After the sale they don't follow through or care at all. Check out Yelp reviews and they have a horrible history. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone, not even worst enemy. I will have to take my vehicle elsewhere for service because if this portion is taken with so much care I can only imagine how long they will keep the car running.

Do not buy from Demontrond - dealerrater
Do not buy a vehicle from Demontrond. You should not be disrespected and lied to when giving a business tens of thousands of dollars for a brand new vehicle. You are much better off going to a dealership that specializes in their one brand of vehicle, not a megahub like Demontrond where they sell Volkswagen, Kia, motor homes, etc., and run you through their impersonal facility like cattle.
Do not be fooled by their "Warranty Forever" program, as the requirements are strict and easily broken.
Do not buy a vehicle from George "Country" Hobbs. He will call to arrange for other dealerships in the area not to have your desired vehicle available to you just so that he can be the person to make the commission. He will become visibly angry when the negotiation process is not to his liking. He will talk down to you and blame you for long wait times in front of other employees and customers. He will have you wait two additional hours just to pay for the vehicle because he failed to tell the finance office that you are paying cash instead of financing. Mr. Hobbs will take the keys to your vehicle to his home and have you waiting again at the dealership for him to arrive and fill the gas and attach the temporary plates before you can finally drive away with the vehicle that you signed paperwork for and that he has had in his possession since two days prior.
I have never been in the position to spend this much money and be treated so poorly and I will not ever recommend anyone attempt to have their needs met by Demontrond.

I just bought a new Mazda CX5 from Joe Meyers Mazda this past week and this is by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. Brian and Mike went above and beyond to give me everything I asked for including having the interior changed out to give me exactly what i wanted. I was never pressured and they were honest and upfront about everything. They made buying this car a very fun and pleasant experience. Also they have the best prices around. Even the dealer where I bought my previous mazda said he couldn't match their price. I will defiantly be back.
