Outstanding - JessicaChung
Outstanding service. Always feels like I just had fun when ever I visit McKenna BMW. Arthur was great, explained everything and answered all my questions. The cashier was patient, seemed to enjoy her work and explained the initial & final invoice. The loaner car has me thinking about buying a new 2018 BMW. Thanks again for a wonderful Genius/Service experience.

Exceptional Car buying experience - Frank W
The Staff at BMW of Murrieta were exceptional from the start to the finish of our car buying experience. Carl’s knowledge of the BMW X5 and the BMW brand of motor vehicle was impressive to say the least. Carl and the staff went out of their way to ensure that our car buying experience was one that only a first class staff could provide. As a first time customer with BMW, but not a first time car buyer this was true pleasure, and will not be last time my family uses BMW of Murrieta.

First dissapointment - HoopDreams
I have generally had great experiences with this location, however, my last appointment left me both perplexed and frustrated. I scheduled an appointment after hearing a strange noise in the rear of my SUV. I thought perhaps it was related to some previous work that was done and asked if it could be looked at. The dealer associate assigned to me explained that the noise I was hearing was coming from items that were located in the front pockets of my door. Inside my front door were a CD case and a pair of sunglasses. I explained that the sounds could not be from those items, as I had heard the sounds prior to putting these items in my car. He then suggests that due to the rain, the diagnostician could not assess properly and suggested if I hear the noise again to return and they would take another look at it. He then proceeds to tell me that the charge from removing my CD and sun-glass case was 90$! He then say that my warranty was expired and I needed to make the payment for today's service. I explained that I purchased the extended warranty, to which he then suggests, "that doesn't apply to your CPO." I then explained that I was assured that the extended warranty covered my car from bumper to bumper, as per the BMW employees and manager that sold the car LESS than one year ago. He again responds that this information was not accurate and explained "They (meaning BMW employees) get people to buy those warranty's but they don't cover CPO vehicles." He continued, "besides, I have to pay my guys for looking at your car." I was furious and again pleaded my case that the cases in the front door of my car were not responsible for the sounds I heard from the rear and further more, if the rain impacted the assessment, an honorable associate would have suggested I come back when weather conditions were more permitting. He then agreed to lower the price and again suggested that the technicians needed to be paid. I did not argue, but did let him know that I felt insulted and taken advantage of.
And to top of my experience, my front license plate cover was bent and hanging off the bumper when they returned my car. He offered half of an apology and stated, "we have new workers up there..." Not sure how that is related to the damage done to my personalized plate cover. He says, they bent it back into place the best that they could...
Just not a good experience.
As previously stated, I generally had good service, but this last appointment left me concerned that I have been taken advantage, especially with regards to the purchase of my extended warranty.
On a positive note, the cashier was really nice and apologetic.
I'm not happy and this experience was so invalidating!

Unresponsive Con Artists - BobSmithBMW
I go in here for an oil change and I'm told that I need new tires and guess what you're in luck, if you buy a set of Four you qualify for a Pirelli refund, brining your price to a record low.
OK. Sounds Great. Lets do it.
That was 3 months ago.
They do not want to respond. I even contacted their General Manager for service department by phone and by email that I can show you confirmation for. Here, I'm thinking to myself, if. you have have the basic courtesy or decency to respond to a customer about your own claims, then what good are you ? Why should anyone trust you ?
I cannot recommend Bob Smith BMW to anyone.
Probably one of the worst service places on the planet.
Why are you selling me on things that are not true ? Is that how Bob Smith Rolls ?
By deceiving customers ? Not bothering to respond ?
By having General Managers who don't respond to emails or telephone calls ?
I recommend Bob Smith change its name to Con Man Smith BMW.

Great customer service - San133
Loved their customer service from the beginning til the end. Jennie & the team took the time to make sure I purchased the car I really wanted. I love my 430i! The team made sure I got the best deal. I highly recommend this dealership.
Vas is the man!! - Johosta
We just leased a new BMW 340i and we are delighted to be driving it! Our client advisor was Vasilis Hronas who was highly recommended to us by our son-in-law, We found him to be very personable and he gave us great service! When you call Irvine BMW be sure to ask for “Vas!”
Technical job well done. Everything else = ZERO - MathieuC
The entire service staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. I have no idea how BMW can allow one of his dealerships to have such a bad customer service culture - it reflects poorly on the brand:
- the Concierge does not greet people, does not smile, does not talk, barely does her job
- 2 service advisors gave me conflicting advice for the same thing regarding alignment vs tire change (I mean seriously? how incompetent can you get?!)
- service advisor did not call me and instead sent a series of rude texts in a very unpleasant discussion about fixing my car
- salesman was not helpful to fix a car key and wasted my time. when my wife called him, he ended telling her that "I have no brains". insulted by a salesman via communication from my wife, how nice is that!
I am sending a 5 pages long complaint letter to the branch manager because this is totally unacceptable. I am never ever stepping foot at this dealership and recommend others do the same.
Israel in Service - mackkkkkk
Israel is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to servicing my car. He is very precise with his work and makes you feel like a friend at the same time. Definitely recommend seeing him when you want to bring your BMW in. Side note: he kept me updated while my car was in for service.
the worst service I have ever had！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！！ - ZSY
the worst service i have ever had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Don't go this stupid bmw car shop to buy any car or do any service!!!!!!!!! they did bad job and bad service!!!!!!!!!
Fraud - Ricajones
Zero stars! Do not buy a CPO vehicle from this dealership. I have spent the last year trying to get them to right a "Wrong". I love the BMW certified pre-owned program and I was looking to purchase a second CPO from BMW. Steve Thomas had a X3 at a good price so I drove 90 min to check it out.
Once I arrived they said it was being worked on (the door panel) and we had to wait. Once it was ready we test drove the car all seemed good except for a few scratch marks and interior marks.
I wanted to return at a later date when the car could be detailed. I was convinced to stay and they would make sure the car was perfect.
I did. The reason I like CPO is that everything is checked out and guaranteed. So maybe I did not scrutinize the car in the way I should have. Well less than 6 months later I was told by a Valencia BMW when I took the car in for routine maintenance that I needed new tires.
I was shocked. I contacted Steve Thomas immediately and they did not stand by their CPO car and said the tires are just made poorly.
I contacted the DMV about this case of fraud.
They could not help but they did say I had a case against the dealer and I could sue. (Please see attached photo.)
I believe there are two scenarios that are possible. One, they made a mistake and missed the damage to the tires because a CPO would not have such damage or two they are being fraudulent and sold me a car with bad tires.
Unfortunately, after all of the back and forth I believe they were being FRAUDULENT.
I guess I will see them in court.
Took my X5 for recall - Bob
My car was in perfect condition with no issue at all. After I take this car for recall, they created several issues with the car including power steering leaking pump and several other items where never was exist. They asked for about $4,000 for these items that never exist. So they damaged my car. Never, ever take your car over there. I also file a claim with BMW USA for these issues.
Failure to Complete Required Recall - loyalbmwdriver
I sought out this dealer for a mandatory airbag recall, long ago having left this dealership service center for its inconsistent work. The first time, I was kept waiting 45 minutes, but agreed to come back a second time for the "final" replacement of the recalled item. On the second attempt, I left the car for five hours. The part was not replaced; in fact, I was told that the part was not in stock. Furthermore, the dealer found $3000 worth of repairs they recommended, and then offered to give me a loaner car while those repair were to be completed. The car, that had no obvious trouble when I drove it in, was returned prior to the repairs mis-firing, and almost impossible to drive. I did take it one mile to my service station that found some damage done to the ignition and spark plugs. These were replaced and the car drove without issue. I made repairs, and replaced the tires, radiator, thermostat for $2000 and the car is fine, but without the mandatory airbag.
This service center at BMW is disorganized and chaotic. Also, I was never called to rate their "service."
Beware of Mazez Sales Consultant & Ryan Sales manager - alimaaz
On March 2, 2018 I Ali Maaz leased a vehicle from BMW Valencia. After a few hours with finance a contract was generated and signed by the dealer and my self Ali Maaz. I have the contract present, and, in my hand, the dealer informed me the car would need to be detailed and would not be ready until the next day. I was offered to take the vehicle on the spot, however I did want to get my brand-new car detailed. I came in to the dealership the next day to pick up my car, the sales rep was very vague and unclear on where the vehicle was. I went to the sales manager, he informed me he needed to revoke a discount, because they were improperly trained, and the discount is not applicable. The dealer voided this contract based on improper training and discounts they applied incorrectly. The dealer informed me there was nothing they could do and asked me to leave the business. I have an executed and signed contract by both parties, the sales manager Ryan and Sales rep Ryan need to be held accountable.
Poor customer service - Christopher J.
Service department customer service experience has deteriorated. Phone calls do not get answered. Operator is impatient on the phone. Cashiers do not make eye contact or greet the customers. This is not up to BMW standards. I will take my vehicle to Monrovia for future service.
