2015 Chevy Silverado 2500HD - chriscaldera
Top of truck was scraped as dealer employee drove under canopy. Tiny damage on fender was spray painted to cover it up. Paint colors didn’t match. I was not made aware of these things when I picked up the truck. I had to bring it to their attention. Other than that, everything else was good.

Excellent Customer Service - Carole
I was so impressed with my treatment at Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove. Yobani Graciano was very apologetic that the item I needed replaced was not in stock. He suggested keeping the car at the dealership, but I needed it that day. He said the part would be in between 11:00 and 1:00 that day, but I chose to make another appointment for the next day. He said he would personally make sure the part was in the next morning. Yobani set up an appointment for me, filled out all the paperwork so I wouldn't have to wait, and was extremely courteous. The next morning I arrived for my appointment, and Fernando Trejo took care of me. The paperwork was ready, the item was in stock, and before very long my car was serviced and I was on my way. Fernando was very helpful and polite. He even had my car washed before he returned it to me.
The cashier, Ursula Ramos, was extremely courteous. She even gave me a bouquet of flowers to thank me for servicing my car at their dealership. Simpson Chevrolet of Garden Grove will continue to be my service shop of choice.

I purchased a 2014 Cadillac SRX at Community Chevrolet in Burbank. They showed me right to the vehicle I was interested in and took me for a test drive. Lawrence Rettig helped my wife and I out with the purchase. He was knowledgeable and courteous throughout the process. I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family without hesitation. NO PRIDE IN WORK!!! - Chevy lover for life
Let me start by saying I’ve been coming to this dealer since I was in high school for parts. My first car was a 68 camaro and the best project ever growing up. Rotolo always had oem parts or could have it faster than anyone else. Since then I’ve attended their car shows with it. I’ve purchased a truck through them. Great salesman Chevy Evy!! So many good experiences until I had to leave my truck there for a cv axle leaking oil at only 20k miles. They changed the seal and I had my truck back next day. A couple months went by and then my suspension came apart on the freeway. I went across all lanes and then back over off the freeway into the dirt. I was safe and no damage to the truck. The nut on the ball joint had warped loose, because it was NOT “torqued to specs” from the assembly after they replaced the seal. I had it towed back to the dealer on a windy day and the service writers wouldn’t even come outside to assess it and know what I would need for a loaner vehicle. Also this is my work truck that I rely on. The service writer said he doesn’t know if it will be covered because I “may have just hit a curb” I was beyond upset! Anyway, the manager Ron took over and finally came outside to assess the truck and see what I needed for a loaner work truck. That’s when everything went from bad to absolutely horrific. I brought my truck in scratch free and meticulously maintained by myself and only myself ever since I left the dealer. I get a call that my truck was hit on the fender, so I went in immediately to find my fender damaged and greasy hand prints all over the truck. I look underneath and everything is still broken and apart. Gets even better, the parts were never ordered after over a week had went by. I was promised my truck to be kept inside and safe in their hands with the best care, to not worry. Now I have a truck less than a year old with a replacement fender and paint job. Most important, I bought a brand new work truck for safety and reliability. Which was compromised, due to incompetent mechanics not torquing one nut and risking my life among many others traveling at the time it happened. I will never ever go there again, I have lost all faith and trust in this dealership. Disappointment is an understatement. Thank you Rotolo and all workers involved for this horrific experience. You have proven to show NO pride in your work. You are the exact reason I don’t let people maintenance, wash or work on my vehicles. I am truly glad you made it right, but is not justified. Rotolo WAS great, but times have changed.
fulfilled commitment - kg66
The general manager, Dave, went the extra mile to make sure commitments made were commitments kept. We had initial issues that were resolved when brought to the attention of the right people.
Great dealership. - Swredding
Great place to buy a car. Very easy to deal with the people there. Fast and very good experience. No pressure if you didn’t want to deal. I new what I wanted and got the deal I wanted.
completingthe sale. - Proud Buyer of a previously owned Tahoe
I dealt with knowledgeable professionals that easily walked me through the sale process. I did pay cash but still was introduced to a gentleman in the finance department that completed the sale documents. Overall it was a very smooth process that went quickly because I felt comfortable and worked with diligent individuals that were ethical.
Only go if you want to be robbed - JohannaQueen23
The Sales Manager Robert Fernandez is a liar. All he cares about is making the sale. Even if that means promising 2 free oil changes and free gap insurance. Which FREE in his vocabulary actually means $1,500. Once I went in again to fix any issue Steven from financing is a racist jerk.
Service for Cruze - Peggy123
Cruze was in for oil and filter. Had a great discount and a free car wash. Thank you for all you did for my car.
Lies and cheats - Pv spanish teacher
beware. I bought a brand new car off the showroom. Had problems. I kept bringing it to Chevy Martin service for over a year. They kept telling me that they "could not replicate the problem". Then, as soon as warranty was up, they said I needed a trnsmission. Crooks. One star is one too many.
Great sales team - Andy

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! - KERRIVR
DO NOT BUY FROM WM L. MORRIS in Fillmore!!
Traded in my car for $1000 and got a used 2012 Chevy Captiva on Jan 24, 2018. This car had 71,827 miles on it at time of purchase.
On May 1, 2018 an engine check light came on (91 days, since time of purchase). Car was at 74,656. And warranty was expired now, by ONE DAY!
Oil was 2 quarts low after driving 2,829 miles, and my oil life was at 67%. Dealer added 2 quarts to the car. I confirmed, that when my car was purchased, the oil life was at 100% & was showing full on the dip stick.
Service report said to come back every 1,000 miles for check ups as there might be an oil consumption problem.
Owner of dealership's son Grant advised me that if this turns out to be an oil consumption problem that they will take care of it that they will either pay to fix the car or do a car exchange so that it won't cost me anymore $ in payments.
I literally had my baby the next day, so for 4 1/2 months, my car hardly was driven.
In June i checked my oil level and thought it was low, so at only adding 800 miles, I came in to the dealer, turns out it was 1 quart low. They said to come back at another 1200 miles since I came in 200 miles "early".
In September I came in again, this time I came in at 76,574 miles. It was was just under 2 quarts low. Said to come back again. At this point I can see a trend that there is excessive oil use, yet the mechanic said it was "boarder line".
Fast forward to Nov 21st 2018- I now have 78,148 miles on my car (added a total of 6,321 miles since time of purchase). My engine is making funny noises, & since I am going on a long distance trip I call & make an appt to get my oil changed. I was advised previously that when i check my oil, the car needs to be sitting for 20 minutes to make sure all the oil goes back in the pan. When I show up for my oil change appt, i ask to see the oil level before they change it. Mechanic A says OK, lets check it. I advise that i just got here and it needs to sit for another 15 minutes. He insists I do not need to wait that long and proceeds to show me, in front of the service check in receptionist, my oil, and says that its 4 quarts low. Again i insist he wait longer, but insisted that we do not need to, and even "proved it" by showing me the oil level on another car that just pulled up saying "if there is oil in the car, it will show up on the dipstick".
Now I go inside and speak to the dealer's son Grant about this issue. That driving the car for a total of 6,321 miles, the car has consumed 6 quarts of oil, there is clearly an issue and they need to pay fix the car or give me a new car entirely (a lateral exchange where i can have the same car payment amount). Here is where I get kick back. They say that because I didn't come in at exactly every 1,000 miles, they have to RECHECK my car at every 500 MILES!! I argue that miles is miles and that it shouldn't matter. Clearly if the car consumes 6 quarts of oil in under 6,500 miles, THERE IS AN ISSUE! They also said I should have come in at 500 miles, (even though my paperwork FROM THEM, says to come in at every 1000) They argue "the car's last oil change back in Dec of 2017, 1 month before I purchased it, so there could be "mystery miles" added to the car from when I purchased it, so that would make the oil level lower than you thought it was at time of purchase". I said to check the miles from the last oil change & add it to when i purchased it, so there really is no "mystery mileage added", and again, MILES IS MILES. So then they tell me, after 3 hours, that "Oh the last service was done in 2016, so that could be why it's looking like there is a problem. So i ask "WHY DIDN'T YOU SERVICE IT THE CAR BACK IN MAY?!" They had no real answer.
Bottom line, after wasting 5 hours arguing that there is an oil consumption problem, proving that the mechanics are incompetent, Grant and the manager on site, refused to acknowledge there is a problem. Grant also said I am liable for making the repairs.
My father works for LAPD, & all his friends WILL SPREAD THE WORD, & will they not to buy cars from this place!
Best buying experience I have ever had! - Benjamin Desko
I worked with Greg Crigger and he was fantastic! He was very easy to work with, was straight forward and to the point. I was literally in and out in less then 30 minutes. It was by far the best buying experience I have ever had. I had stopped by because they guy I was working with at Guaranty Chevy was a mess. He couldn't even figure out which truck we had looked at the night before. Working with Greg solidified that I had made the right choice in sopping by Connell. I will go back for my next truck, that is for sure!
Best customer service at any dealership - Steven S
I recently stopped into Chevy of Irvine to pickup some new DEF for my truck. I was outside looking at my truck and was greeted by James. He asked if there was anything he could help me with. I explained that there had been a noise coming from the truck. He offered to take a look at the truck. Less than a half hour later the truck was brought out repaired I couldn't believe how fast they were. The truck was still under warranty so he said it's no charge. I couldn't be happier with the level of service from James at Simpson Chevy. It's hard to find good service these days. But James customer service is world class the best I've ever had at any dealership. I will recommend all my friends and family to go see James if they ever have any needs for Chevy.
False advertising - PaulJ
Dealership advertised their 2017 used Chevy Cruze for $14,888.00. This price was confirmed over the phone and before I took a test drive. Dealer obtained my personal and insurance info and ran my credit which is excellent. After waiting for about 45 minutes, the manager approached me and said the price is about $4,000.00 more than advertised. They offered me to see if there is another car I might like, saying the price was a mistake. After an argument, I left the dealership without a car. While on my way home, I received a text message telling me that the dealership is willing to give me the car for $15,513.00 plus tax. I did not take their new offer as it was above their advertised price. This must be the way this establishment lures customers in and then tries to get more money than what they advertise.
