This is my second time purchasing a Honda with Frank. There are numerous Honda dealerships in my neighborhood but we chose to drive over an hour to give the business to Frank at Sierra Honda. The reason we chose Frank was because he’s very honest, straight forward and great pricing. I have dealt with many dealerships through my life time and a lot of them likes to attract customers to come in with an attractive pricing and they didn’t honor their price at the end. It’s never the case with Frank and that’s why I have referred a lot of my friends to him! I do not like the car buying process... it’s very time consuming and hate going back and forth with dealerships. However, Frank made it very easy for us! We were in n out in less than 2 hours! In addition, we already negotiated the price in email prior arrival therefore no more back and forth between dealerships and us! The representatives are friendly and courteous. The mechanics have been very good! I have 3 suggestions:
1. There needs to be more obvious signage directing customers to the service drive from Brand Avenue.
2. It would help to have someone who greets each customer immediately upon their arrival, who takes the pertinate information re: the reason for their visit - a greeter.
3. The waiting room is much too cold! 71 degrees is too low for comfort - 73 or 74 is better for idle people waiting for completion of service.

My pilot had 213,000 miles and was running like a champ. The car was good to me and my family, but it was time to replace the car. Since I was on my second Pilot I decided to look at the pilot again.
The new pilot looks great, is the perfect size for me and my family and has all the bells and whistles I was looking for. I went to First Honda to buy a new pilot and I had a great experience. The sales consultant knew the car inside and out. He took the time to give us a great test drive and took great care to make sure my wife and I had a good experience buying our car. I highly recommend First Honda and plan to come back for my fourth Pilot.

After suffering two ordeals at two different Honda dealers, I decided to give El Monte Honda a try.
I arrived at the dealership’s service center a few minutes before it’s 7:00 a.m. opening time.
There were a several customers ahead of me, but once the spacious arrival area was opened up- the customers were promptly greeted and we were questioned about our reasons for being there.
A few minutes later I was greeted by Service Advisor, Ken Okimoto.
I was processed in, and I was given an written estimate for the oil/ filter change, and the tire rotation. I was told that I would be contacted should the mechanic find any additional issue that I might need to be made aware of.
I was also given an estimate for how long it was going to take.
I received a text message advising me that my car was ready. I walked over to Ken O’s office, where I was able to pay, as well as, pick up my car and drive home.
I was surprised that no mention was made about the cabin filter, and the engine air filter-
since the previous dealership recommended that both be changed during both my 30,000 and 40,000 mile service. (were both bad both times?)
I trust that this time, they were both inspected, and that they were found to be acceptable.
This resulted in a savings to me of about $100.00.
I plan to continue having my car serviced at El Monte Honda- I will ask for Ken Okimoto.

Had an appointment scheduled, went there about 10minutes early and two cars pull up after me, and
there was about two cars ahead and maybe a few more that were done and being moved.
My assigned advisor Gordon (nothing against him, he did his job) took the car in front, my appointment time is now here and gone, another individual approached and asked if I had an appointment in which i said yes, it was 5 minutes pass and he then tells me my appointment was with Gordon, which he just help another person right before me. They told me to wait for him, while waiting i see serval advisors doing busy work and a few on their phone (personal cell phones). no one helped me, so i kept waiting. But yet the two cars that pulled up behind me were now checked in. almost 30 minutes passed and now i'm finally talking to my advisor, the process took 5 minutes. By now i waited a total of 40 minutes and thats with an appointment. Wait not done yet, i was told 2 hours to complete an the oil change which actually took about an hour and something. i was in the waiting area when i saw my car pull in the completed spots. But at this time my advise has gone to lunch. and here we go again no one else took care of the paper work to get me out, nor any other cars that were done and paper work was on Gordon desk. There is no team work in this place.
This is the second time my car was here, the first time went smooth, i had an appointment then also. Again with Gordan, but he was busy then also, but i got help right away from Isreal.
For that i'm willing to give this dealership another chance before I go else where.

Rock Honda made it super easy to buy the new 2019 Honda Insight. We browsed the website and received the Rock Bottom Price. The Internet Manager, Tony, maintained good communication and offered some great options. We set an appointment with Tony and he had the car ready for the test drive and had the paperwork prepared as well. Once we got to finance, Cedric, was so personabale and made the glass office feel like home. He covered every document in detail and we knew exactly what we were signing.

I visited two Honda dealerships Friday Aug 3, 2018. I had a bad experience at Honda of Thousand Oaks and did not purchase a car from "T" Thanh Nguyen. Later that evening a purchase was made at First Honda in Simi Valley!
Here is what happened:
A phone call was placed to the dealership with interest in purchasing a 2018 Honda Accord LX and no one called back.
I went to the dealership and was greeted by "T" with a rude and immature greeting of "Talk to me." You are not professional sir.
I asked for a Honda Accord LX and test drove it. It is a great car! The advertised price range of this model is approximately $24,000 to $25,000. The sticker on this white car was $24,000 ish. This was well within the budget.
Then the deception begins from a very unethical "T." He proceeds to say the LX I drove has many local dealer add ons that actually take the car two levels up to a "Sport." I told him I wanted the base model LX. He told me they have none. I asked him why he told me I was driving an LX base model...he then proceeds to tell me how I will enjoy the "Sport" model better and that the price is $ 31,000" approximately. I told him I wanted a base LX and if HE wants me to have the "Sport" then who pays??? I told him he should pay if he wants me to have a car two levels up the ladder. I ask him to do a dealer trade...he says, "No, we don't do dealer trade on this car because the other dealership would lose money on the deal." "T" tells me they don't need to sell me a car and he had great reviews on Yelp. Guess what "T"....due to your less than ethical practices, you will have this poor and true review to remind you how you once treated customers poorly...I hope you learn from this and treat future customers with the value they deserve. Shame on you for lying! Shame on Honda for retaining you as an employee!
Needless to say, I left and went to First Honda in Simi Valley. They told me they would have done a dealer trade and they had an abundant supply of the Accord LX and they were professional and helpful and guess what? They sold a Honda Accord LX 2018 for their ethical work!

Bought a used 2016 gmc yukon xl. Took it in for a faulty brake light. It was replaced with a used one with scuff marks. Disappointed when I called and asked for a new light. I was told they usually replace lights with used ones. Big safety issue.

I started by search for a new car expecting the worst. Moss Bros Honda was my first stop because it was the nearest dealer to my home that didn't have a D- rating for the Best Business Bureau. I parked right in front of the showroom door and from that moment to the drive off, I only was treated with professionalism and respect. Moss Bros was not giving cars away, but we quickly found the right deal. The Sale Rep, Bill Mills was very helpful and the Sale Manager Joey Romero was reasonable. The F&I process with Casey was fast, friendly, and very high tech.
Ripping off Customers - Galpin
Don’t trust these guys. Twice I’ve taken my new car here and twice they charged for a tire rotation they didn’t perform. When I confronted them and told them I marked the tire to check if they actually did the rotation, they refunded my money. I also have a video camera in my car and the mechanic turned off the camera.
If there was a negative score, that’s what I would give them.
I also don’t trust that they performed the oil and transmission change I paid for but I cannot prove this because they turned off my camera in the car.
