I had been to the other Rusnak dealership in Westlake village for my first car and this was the second time I am came back to Rusnak with my family to check out Volvo in Pasadena. I really like their easy approach and friendly environment which I have not found in any other dealerships.
They even have kids play area to make kids engaged and happy (very thoughtful) Helps when you are with your family.

I came in for service on a battery issue which required my car to be towed. I also needed my 20000 mile maintenance service which I had been putting off. I was lucky enough to be assigned Ivan. He was very professional and courteous. He explain all of the service my car was going to receive. Because of the service I received from Ivan I will change to Volvo of Ontario as my choice of a center service for both of our Volvos.

Just leased an XC90. The man who helped me, Christopher White, is by far the most professional, most helpful, least pushy sales professional I've ever dealt with while buying or leasing an automobile. I recommend using him, and, more generally, I recommend Volvo Cars of Santa Monica. I've been to other Volvo dealerships and Santa Monica is the best one out there for people living in Los Angeles. I've leased three cars from them and have always had a great experience.

Took my Volvo XC90 in for a recall. They provided a loaner and then charged me $17.50 for 1 gallon of gas upon return. What kind of dealer gives you a loaner to fix THEIR issue and charges you for gas? Horrible dealer. Stay away!

Service has had my vehicle for 7 days.for seat warmer repair and leak in exhaust manifold. Was called by CS after making appt that they don't have loaners and would not provide one. No problem. Took in my vehicle anyway. One delay after another. I have to follow-up because my service advisor can't seem to communicate other than when he is ready to leave for the day. Now out for the weekend. The service advisor he turned my file over to hung up on me because I told reception I would hold for him to return to his desk. When I did get through it was obvious I wasn't important. I asked to speak with General manager and all I received was excuses as to why I couldn't speak with him. Long story short, been 7 days and I still do not have an answer as to when and if my vehicle will ever be completed, meanwhile, without a loaner. Poor service. I will not be coming back and will tell everyone I know about the poor service I have received. On a side note, I have never left a poor review. Only reviewed a couple of things in it life and only because they were amazing experiences. This has been such a bad ordeal I need to let everyone know who they are dealing with.....

I was there for repair service. I was quoted a price that was very high ($900) for the repair (which I know should cost around $600). But I left the car for repair anyway. I was thinking, I probably won't come back again. Upon completion of the car, I was told that the quote was high and there were parts that did not need to replace/repair as originally thought. My cost bill was reduced to a very reasonable cost of $600 without me asking.
Or course, the better will be that it was quoted right the first time because it could have driven business away.

In March, 2017, I paid Volvo Cars Mission Viejo (California) $52,000 for a 2017 Volvo S90 T5 four door sedan.
The car is O.K. It has a weird little habit of killing the engine when you are stopped for a few seconds, and then starting up again. Presumably, that is to extend gas mileage. You can get used to that.
The dealer, however, is a very different story!! I have purchased twenty-five new cars over my life from twenty-five different dealers from New York to Los Angeles, and Volvo Cars of Mission Viejo is the absolutely worst dealer I have EVER dealt with, anywhere, anytime!!
Let me explain. The 2017 Volvo is a very, very sophisticated piece of machinery and it requires a HUGE amount of learning to operate properly. The Owner’s manual does not begin to cover what you need to know, so you turn to the sales team for help.
In this case, that would be Dennis J. Winkler and Kyle Palmer. They are the two most indifferent, inept sales people I have ever encountered in an auto dealership. They do not answer email, they do not return telephone calls, and when you do manage to schedule a meeting, they don’t show up, or bother to tell you they are not going to show up.
If you want the whole long list of questions and problems, send me an email and I will try to answer it. In the meantime, I am trying to work through all my problems with my local garage since I am never going near Volvo Cars of Mission Viejo again!!!!
