I discovered Sunshine Kia, only after filling out an inquiry about my car’s value on Kelley Blue Book’s website. I was in the market for a hybrid, wanting to trade in my truck. After filling out the form online and receiving an instant cash value, I received a few e-mails from local dealerships who are affiliates in the KBB program; one being Sunshine Kia.
A week later, I had all forgotten about my online search, as had many of the other dealerships - except for Sunshine Kia. I had a voicemail from Cherris Lynch. It wasn’t pushy, but very friendly, wanting me to come in for them to look at my trade-in, even if I wasn’t planning on buying from them. Two weeks later I called and made an appointment to swing by.
My thought was to at least get a written offer to take with me to Toyota, to help in negotiating for the value of my trade-in. Once there, I was greeted by Daine Rosswess, whom I immediately liked; very personable and knowledgable on Kia, Toyota, and Hyundai. While my truck was being appraised, they offered a test drive of some of their hybrids. So glad I did!
Since Daine knew so much about the other make/models of Toyota and other hybrid competitors, he was able to point out key features Kia had done differently. We went on a short test drive, and later a longer one that better replicated my morning commute (turnpike, etc). Daine was very patient while I considered such a big decision as purchasing a new car.
In the end, it was meant to be. I look forward to working with Sunshine Kia of Miami for all of my future needs with my new Kia. Ask for Daine (pronounced Dane)

Brought car in after vehicle needed to be jump started before heading to work. Was able to drive to Dealership, turned off the ignition and battery completely died. Was told I had to wait 2-3 hours to get a new battery....then service technician came to desk and said, I can do it right now! WOW!!!

Have been doing business with this dealership for over 6 years now and never had a complaint until this last year. Traded in two cars and was told I wouldn't have to make any payments or pay any fees after trading in and leaving with two new cars, BOTH WITH HIGHER MONTHLY PAYMENTS. And two months later got hit with notices about "late payments" on the car I traded in, and "damage fees" on the second car I traded, which had no apparent damage when I traded it. It has been over 6months now and I am still dealing with both of these cars and stuck having to pay "late payment fees" AFTER I NO LINGER OWNED IT, Because they didn't pay the auto loan company the full payoff. After my new contract is up, I will be taking my money elsewhere.

My car under warranty had ac problems.I was suspicious it had a freon leak. they "tested" the system and found no leaks and refill it with freon. A few months later had same problem . They refill the system again.Now my car is out of warranty
and another shop told me the evaporator is being leaking freon for a while.Also previously had alternator problems. My car had to be towed twice to the shop and only the alternator was replaced the second time. My original battery had to be replaced and I was given another after paying a pro-rating fee. The second battery lasted less than a year. I am sure I was given a used one. The shop staff is more concentrated in listening to the radio and horseplaying on the job than doing their work.One of the shop employees said to me they don't have all the necessary tools to do the job the right way.I had my timing belt replaced at another KIA dealer for $ 399.00. They wanted $ 599.00 !!. I believe Maybe Kia has the policy of avoiding repairs or the dealer is very unproffesional.Don't recommend this place to anyone. I believe Kia make good vehicles; but this place sucks !!!

Lilliam Smith is a con artist!! She lies just to get you in the door!!! The new management at South Miami Kia is even worse than the former. They are deliberately lying to people just to get them through the door! Also Their sales management including is so unprofessional and full of tattoos you don't want to do business where the manager looks like he just got released from prison!!
the sales manager is a crook. Never buy from this dealer, they have terrible customer service! And they suck you dry. One you agree to buy they keep making up excuses to raise the price!! And the dealer fee is ridiculous and then they add a ton of hidden fees at the end! Avoid this dealer, these guys are sharks and crooks with a license to steal!!!!
