My son's car was towed in from another local dealer, Subaru, won't mention the name, talk about bad service & communication, the car sat there for a month and nothing was accomplished, they sent car to Advantage without notifying me, which turned out to be a godsend. Service Advisor Erin was phenomenal, within 2 hours the engine was torn down and pics sent to warranty company, within 8 hours, authorization for repairs was approved. She handled everything and was SO pleasant to talk to. I have nothing but good things to say about Advantage Hyundai service . 5 stars for me.

Bought a 2018 Elantra from Island Hyundai 2 days ago, and it couldn't have been a better experience. We had been in touch with Mike for about a week over the phone talking about competing prices and some out of state tax issues. We went into the dealership on Saturday and found Mike to be a delight to work with; he gave us a great deal and went out of his way to confirm that I did not owe certain taxes. PA - my home state - has different tax rules than NY regarding incentives and rebates that other NY dealers *insisted* that I would have to pay. He was a joy to work with, and even headed out to Tim Horton's to bring me a coffee while I waited for my car to be brought over from the remote lot. :) It was the best experience I've ever had buying a car. I highly, highly recommend them. When I'm ready for my 3rd Hyundai, I'll be back, for sure.
Hyundai Santa Fe -Hard Starting in the morning - ernie123
We were having difficulty starting our car in the morning only. It could take up to several minutes to start after pumping the gas pedal, then a fitful start before engine caught on. Replaced the air sensor and we still were experiencing the problem to a lesser extent.Left car overnite at dealers, our great service advisor(Mark Z) was able to get us a courtesy car (over the weekend!).They checked vehicle on mon and it worked. Excellent customer service!

I just leased a car at this dealership with John D. this past Saturday. I rarely, if ever, write reviews, however I felt my experience there had to be shared. This was the most professional and friendly dealership I have been to. Everyone went out of their way to make my wife and I feel comfortable, and John was an exceptional sales person to deal with. Even though it was our first in-person interaction, he made me feel at ease and like I've known him for years. He was upfront and direct with his pricing, car availability, etc. (which in my previous experiences with other dealers, was not the case). John is a tremendous asset to this dealership, and as long as he is there I will be sending all of my family, friends, and anyone that is looking for a car to him and the folks at Curry.

I knew that I wanted another Hyundai Tuscon so I did some research online for dealer stock. I found the model I like and emailed the dealership. I was contacted within 10 minutes via email. I had some correspondence with a salesman, told him I would be in the following day. I made an appointment time with him, He said he would have the car ready. When I arrived, the car was upfront running and heating up for me. The whole experience was amazing! My salesman was extremely thorough and answered EVERY question I had. The whole team there was very attentive. Previously I had a very bad experience at another Hyundai dealership in the NY area. But I love the Tuscon and really wanted another one. Danbury Hyundai righted all that went wrong at the other place. I will HIGHLY recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new car!

We met Luis Olivier and run through roughly 6 different models and options we were considering. Luis showed great patience and impressive listen skills to weed through all the options we put in front of him. His carefully and respectfully showed us each option we were considering, allowing us to test drive whichever vehicle we wanted to help us narrow our choices. We just leased out third Sonata from Plaza. In this go-round, our sales associate was Kevin Crespo. My wife and I found him to be most helpful and knowledgeable, and would recommend him if you’re looking to buy or lease a Hyundai. He was very familiar with the dealership’s inventory, and was quickly able to locate the car that met our specifications. He was also diligent in keeping us informed with updates when out-of-town weather issues delayed the arrival of our new car. It was then delivered when promised, and he has since followed up with his offer to help with any subsequent questions or problems. His enthusiasm and good humor were most appreciated.
There are two areas of the process that need some serious attention. The first is the back-and-forth between the salesperson and his managers as the terms of the lease are being negotiated. The multiple “back office” discussions that played out while we sat patiently in the showroom seemed to go on forever…and when we finally agreed on the terms of the deal, along came Phase Two -- the meeting with the Finance Department to entertain and weigh some available, optional coverages, and to complete the paperwork (including credit check, insurance documentation and DMV issues).
When we finally left the dealership, we checked our watches and were horrified to discover that we’d been there for more than five hours! There must be a better way. Past experience tells us that this time-warp is probably not unique to Plaza Hyundai -- it seems to go with the territory…but it shouldn’t have to.
