We needed to buy a truck, as we were nearing a lease end on one of our vehicles (which we didn't want to keep). We had a horrible experience at a Chevy dealership down in Parkland, and it almost turned us off to buying a Chevy in general. But - we decided to try a different dealership! My husband got in touch with Cole one evening, and when we made our way to Lee Johnson the next morning, Cole greeted us outside, and had already pulled a truck up to the front of the lot, that "checked all the boxes" about what my husband had told him was on our "wish list". Cole also knew we were in a hurry, so could only spend a short amount of time with him that morning. Within two hours, we were driving off the lot with a brand new - amazing - Chevy Silverado Redline. Not only did Cole listen to what it was that we wanted/needed - he did everything that he could to meet our expectations, and also get us going quickly. There wasn't a single point in the interaction that felt forced, and didn't even feel like he was trying to sell us something - all he ad to do was listen. He even helped clean out the car that we traded in:) If you're looking for a no-hassle, real person to work with when you're looking for your next car or truck - ask for Cole Landes! I normally hate the car buying experience, and with all the horror stories about pushy salesmen and sneaky sales tactics, I was really anxious about buying a new car. But my experience was very positive. No hard sell tactics. Very low key and comfortable. They tried to low ball my trade in value (I guess you have to try and maximize the profit) but after pointing out the true value of my trade in, they came up considerably. I got the deal I wanted on a new Chevy Bolt EV, with no hard negotiating. The transaction took a lot longer than I would have like, lots of sitting around waiting, but that's par for the course, I think. Salesman - Bob, his manager - Chris, and the finance guy - Tom were all great to work with and I would definitely recommend this dealership.

I bought a used Acadia from them about a month ago. Car has only been in my possession less than 2 weeks. It’s been in their shop the rest of the time. When I got it back last time, it even said on the receipt “did not fix oil leak”. That was one of the big reasons I took it in. It also said a huge list of things leaking or needing fixed and they didn’t even tell me in person. They refuse to fix it and now I have a car that I paid $20k for that needs thousands of dollars worth of work. I had to cancel my plans to drive to the beach for vacation because I don’t even know if it will make it. The 2nd car we bought the same week had the tires blow out while on the freeway.
I will never buy another car from these guys and am sick that I’m stuck with a car I don’t want to drive.
The only reason I give that one star is because they did give me a rental car and the parts department got all my ordered parts in quick and without any hassle
*Editing to add that I reached out to my sales person and the GM 3 days ago by sending an email. I haven’t gotten a response from either. This shows me they just don’t give one single xxxx about their customers or my situation. Bad form....

I literally went to every car dealership in Auburn, Puyallup and Tacoma (ok, I admit it. I went to Olympia too...). But, even after all my I-5 driving, Auburn Chevy had the best price (by far!) and were the easiest to work with, and those two things are really all I was asking for.
They let me test drive probably too many cars, and all with no pressure. These guys just made it so easy!! Even the financing was a breeze. Not only was the car the right price but the payment was exactly what I needed!
I love my new car and I can’t say enough great things about this dealership and how well everyone there has treated me. I just wish I had saved some time on I-5 and just come here first! (But Olympia is nice...)

I drove to Grey's from Yakima, WA for the Used Pickup I had wanted. I traded in my 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 for a 2008 Chevy Silverado Vortex Max (a beefed up 2500 w/ a 6.0 L V-8). I dealt with one of the owners, a very fine man, Joel Grey. Joel treated me very fairly through out the entire process. When I returned home I had my mechanic inspect the entire truck from top to bottom. The inspection was not the best news I had ever rec'd. So I called Joel and we negotiated until we reached an agreement I could live with. For that effort, I commend Joel for being a man of his word. By law once you leave the lot with a used car, the seller is not responsible for fixing anything. You have the right to take the used care in to your mechanic prior to purchase for inspection. However, I was not able to do that. Despite that, Joel & Grey's Chevrolet stepped up to the plate financially. They worked with my mechanic here in Yakima to help correct issues found in the inspection. I feel they went above & beyond.

Neither Negative nor Positive Experience - Don't Call Me "Kid"
Attempted to purchase a used vehicle through Brooks Biddle. The salesman seemed nice enough, but kept me waiting hours and was not responsive to my questions or concerns. Further, the salesman was extremely condescending. If I weren't a young-ish woman (in my late 30's), I suspect I would be paying less, but I wasn't willing to haggle very hard since the salesman spoke to me as if I were a particularly stupid child and I knew the price to be in a reasonable range according the KBB values. It turned out to be slightly high using NADA values; be sure you check both.
Salesman was not knowledgeable about the vehicle. Sure, it's a "really nice car," but that gives me no information about the vehicle. I would expect some basics, such as gas mileage, knowledge of braking system, etc. Would not give me any paperwork after we settled on a price, and in fact, did not seem to know what paperwork was required in the sale of a car. Turns out a different guy handles all the paperwork. That gentleman was quite nice and respectful. Salesman said multiple things that were factually inaccurate, such as telling me the car had all wheel drive when it has front wheel drive (thankfully I came having done my homework), telling me that CarFax reports were guaranteed accurate (they are only as accurate as their information sources; a CarFax report can't actually guarantee much and only shows records from certain sources), not seeming to understand what a certification of emissions is, otherwise hemming and hawing and ultimately seeming slightly incompetent. Perhaps this is a sales tactic of some sort, but it had the effect of causing me to want to take my business elsewhere rather than wait for the salesman to get it together, but I really liked the particular vehicle I was purchasing and stuck it out.
This dealership very clearly prioritized service to people who were using their financing (to be expected), as well as middle-class, older (50's and above) couples, to the extent that I constantly felt they were trying to put one over on me in some way, but couldn't really put my finger on how. I know there's some bias because the salesman was constantly assisting another (older, white) couple while I was waiting and when he returned to me he had forgotten what we'd previously talked about. Perhaps they just don't have enough staff? Perhaps "bumbling, disorganized dad" is part of his sales strategy? However, I'd guess that based on the majority of the positive reviews of this dealership being from older white people, and because all of the staff seem to be older white people, there may be some inherent bias happening. I certainly didn't enjoy the way I was spoken to and felt there was a severe lack of professionalism in treating a customer like a child.
The salesman thoughtfully had the gas tank filled up when I came in to finalize the purchase, but the windshield wiper fluid reservoir was bone dry. This dealership is connected to a service garage. The lack of attention to detail was somewhat concerning. Not a deal breaker, but proceed with caution. I appreciated that his heart was in the right place, but there is room for improvement.
The dealership could vastly improve the customer experience by using more respectful terms to address customers (ix-nay on the "young lady" and "kid," I'm almost 40) and by being more transparent about timelines and documentation. You have to expect a certain amount of B.S.-ing with car sales, but there are more savvy ways of presenting it to the client. Salesman told me he was "proud of me" when I purchased the vehicle. What??
I received a "survey" call after my purchase. When I expressed my concerns, I was told I was wrong and the "majority of people" enjoy their experience, then the caller quickly ended the call. Why call to get my opinion and then tell me my opinion is wrong?
I'd like to say it was a wonderful experience because the people at Brooks Biddle seem very nice and probably mean well, probably aren't aware that their mannerisms are even remotely problematic, but "inter-sectional feminism" is definitely not a term they're familiar with and they are decidedly not politically correct. Proceed with caution if you are female, under 40, or a person of color.
I did not have any experience with the service side of the business, only sales.

Classic bait & Switch - Broadview car customer
Just visited them on 5/26/18. Two cars were advertised at reduced prices strangely were not available when I showed up. The dealer had promised to get them ready to test drive on the phone just prior to my visit. After testing substitute car that was not discounted. ,I told them I wasn't interested in that vehicle. Wonders of all wonders, one of the vehicles I originally came to see was suddenly available.
Spent 2 hours arguing with the Sales Manager over the terms and trade-in amount.They advertised a $1,000 increase over blue book on trade in but only offered $1,000 total which in effect was zero value for the trade in vehicle.
They insisted on a full $150 document fee which they advertise is subject to reduction.
Got so fed up,I just walked out. 2 hours wasted. Don't go there

We were an out of state purchaser and had one of our best purchasing experiences at Evergreen Chevrolet. Kyle and Rocky were excellent and did exactly what they said they were going to do. Communication was excellent in preparing us to consider the 4 hour drive to the dealership to look at the vehicle. When we got there, the vehicle was waiting and ready. It was exactly as described. The team worked to move us thru the process efficiently. Thank you Evergreen Chevrolet! We would recommend you any day!
$2500 in deferred maintenance - Ack!
Bought a used BMW X1 and discovered $2500 in uncompleted maintenance after the sale. I expected more from a "family dealership." I was offered a free battery and repairs at their cost -- funny how their cost is $150 more than retail at my import mechanic.
Ripped off by service center - I hate titus will!
My running lights would not turn off on my hummer. Took it in to be diagnosed. The service department said they changed my light switch but that wasn't the cause and that they had to keep trying to replace different things until they figured out what the issue was. My light switch was never replaced. I know this because it needed to be replaced, it didn't light up anymore. So I was happy that they "replaced" it. They LIED! It STILL doesnt light like it's supposed too! My insurance was charged hundreds of dollars and so was I for a switch that WASN'T replaced and my trucks initial problem was still a mystery! I was so upset that I had them put my dash back together and took it home. I googled the light problem, and I am by NO means a mechanic or mechanically inclined, and in about 5min I found out that it was the bcm (body control modual) that went out hence the light issue. I ordered the part from Amazon and had it put on and programmed by a real mechanic at Fleet Service in Napavine. Titus Will's service center said my issue would cost over $3,000 to figure out and fix. I ended up paying less than $700 for the part, instalation and programming. I am completely blown away that a dealership service center said they couldn't figure out the problem and just started replacing whatever they wanted too to try to figure it out, while all I did was google it, and charging me and my insurance company over $500 for a light switch that had nothing to do with my trucks running lights. The service manager, I believe his name was Steve, had a terrible attitude and said, well too bad that's how we do it. The sarcasm was unprofessional and rude. I called to complain and was informed I'd be contacted. That was over 11 months ago. No call yet. When I try to call about it I get left on hold forever. I will be contacting GM, the owner of the dealership and the better business bureau about the terrible service and the light switch that was paid for but never replaced. I would recommend to anyone reading this to BEWARE and DO NOT GO THERE FOR VEHICLE SERVICE OR MAINTENENCE! Unless you like be talked down to and robbed.

Like a 21st century car buyer, I knew exactly what vehicle I wanted, but we realized that the ordering window had already closed, so the folks helped me locate one that was scheduled to be built, and commandeered the order for me. They kept me informed throughout the vehicle's journey from factory to showroom floor. They know their car aficionados, and were willing to accommodate my special requests on how I wanted the car delivered - I've had many experiences where dealers drill the front bumper even though I told them not to. The entire experience was very positive.
