The service department is the best! They went the extra mile to get my Jeep repaired in a timely fashion. Kind and caring and kept me updated to what was going on at all times, even if it was not so good. Keeping me in the loop, so to speak, means the world to me and not just waiting not knowing about the progress of the repairs. My kudos also go the manager that has assembled such a caring and knowledgeable team in the service department.

I was taking my car in for a repair, and was approached by Dave, who the absolute best!!!! The damages to my car was a bit much more than I expected. I then walked onto the showroom floor, where I was approached by salesman Mr. Mark Ware. His attentiveness to my needs, just by observing me, was totally awesome, and left me speechless!! I was looking at a jeep, which he then advised me about the rebates on the 300's. He allowed me to test drive the car and i fell in love with it. I just did not want to wait the long time that it normally takes to purchase a vehicle, and was quite hesitant. However, Mark and Daniel moved in such a timely manner, that before I knew it, I was approved for the car, and was on my way home!!! THIS IS BY FAR, THE BEST EXPERIENCE THAT I HAVE EVER HAD WHEN PURCHASING A NEW VEHICLE!!! Mark Ware is the absolute best!!! I would recommend him to everyone!!!!

I would not recommend this dealership to ANYONE... This will be long but worth your time. First I would like to say the only good thing about this place was the sales man I was dealing with Dre, unfortunately we all know their bosses control everything. The first time I went in there the GM was chatting with me ( I did not know it was the GM until leaving) they matched a deal on a new JL rubicon for me and all was good, I was to bring my trade back in and the GM told me when leaving if they can't get the number I want tell them to come see him. Not only were they nowhere near the number but THOUSANDS BELOW KBB CASH INSTANT OFFER... (My car looks brand new still under factory warranty and other dealer had no prob offering me the KBB cash offer.)
My salesmen was nice, he was kinda confused at it. I ask him to get the GM per the GM's words, BUT I believe the appraiser was telling he not to. So I was leaving. When just inside of the double doors waiting for my keys, a man (employee there) was approaching from my left in passing says to me.... "I can tell you think you're the center of attention..." at first I didn't realize he was talking to me because I had NEVER seen him I look behind me to my left then to my right and I was the only one there... My salesman was coming with my keys and seen my face and ask whats wrong??? I replied "that mans an xxxxxxx.... he then sticks his head back in the doors chuckles and says "you misunderstood me, you're standing in the middle of the room"... I replied I'm standing just inside the door waiting for my keys, how is this the middle of the room??
The GM ended up calling and offing the true trade in for my car. I contemplated still giving the salesman my business, but thankfully I had already been in contact with Dennis Nevills with Dave Sinclair Jeep!
I ended up going to Dave Sinclair Jeep, I can not say enough amazing things about them, and I will post one for them!! Better experience and better deal all around!!! Please DONT buy from SOCO Jeep with out calling Dave Sinclair!!!

First, I've been a loyal Royal Gate customer for many years. My wife and I have purchased three (3) vehicles from Royal Gate in Ellisville, MO and love the staff and service. I, however, must write about my experience at the Columbia office. Natalie was amazing; she was the driving force to open the door. She was genuinely interested in what I was looking for (a new Ram 3500 Laramie with the Cummins), attentive to my questions, and enthusiastic about my potential vehicle-buying experience. Fast forward.......
My wife and I drove the extra few miles from Fenton to the Columbia branch. This is where we met Paul Mudd, the best sales associate I've ever met. Note: my wife and I have purchased many vehicles but this experience was, by far, the best. Paul was fantastic; he was kind, focused, and committed to "the experience." There were no pushy sales tactics, no disrespectful attempts to "pull one over on us," and no distracting "fine print" conversations. As stated, this was the best vehicle-buying experience we've ever had. Paul even exchanged a few texts with me on a Sunday (his day off and while enjoying his well-deserved free time).
In closing, my new 2018 Ram 3500 is the 4th vehicle we've purchased from the Royal Gate family. I, however, highly recommend you visit the Columbia, Illinois location and specifically ask for Paul; you won't be disappointed. Thank you Paul Mudd and Natalie for the experience. My wife went in to review warranty information and cancel some of them. The financing person & owner ( Brad Oliver) were very rude to my wife in the presents of my youngest child. I wonder how rude they will be when i go up there. Never the less was this was the second visit back up there. The 1st was an overcharge by the financing person and they expected us to trust their over priced warranties and coverage. They get an -10 and if you go there read the fine print. They have no exact answers on coverage info and offered one financing rate over 5% for A one credit rating.
Incompetent service department - JAMES
My insurance works with this place. When I lost the keys to my truck they towed it there so I could get new keys done. After I picked up the keys my check engine light came on. Service department was closed so I drove home and called them the next day. They denied all responsibility and offered to get it checked out for the usual fee. I denied since the check engine light was not on before I had the car towed. It got worse - about a month later my key did not work anymore and I had to call my insurance again and it went back to them. The service manager was rude - even so that I told them not to do anything until I got there to check out what's going on, they had already taken my truck apart so I had no choice but to pay for the installation of a new ignition switch. The way it is the key's were not done right, so the ignition switch went bad - so I paid over $1,000 for the ignition switch and the keys and I have still an issue with my check engine light that they caused to come on. I even went thru BBB and they answered them wrong. I can only recommend to stay away from this place - incompetent and rude.

*Buyer Beware* I started my search for a New 2017 Ram on Auto trader, like most Americans searching for dealer incentives and driven by prices, I looked some 300 miles from my home. If it's a good deal, then why not? I came across Dave Sinclair's vehicle on Auto Trader for an astounding $29,948.00 for a loaded Big Horn Crew Cab 4x4 SLT, normal price at other dealers was $36k, so I called down to Sinclair's to make sure the vehicle was still in stock. The internet manager, Jane, whom answered the phone was pleasant and easy to work with. She did inform me the vehicle was still on their lot and since we had only 2 days left before the incentives were no longer valid through Dodge, I should make my way to their dealership, sooner than later. As I was starting to figure out a time to drive 6 hours one way I happened to look on their website only to find the exact same vehicle priced at $34,200.00. Keep in mind, Jane had said nothing about the price. So I told Jane we would be down to purchase the vehicle and I had already been pre-qualified through my bank and Dodge, but they would have to honor the $29k price.
"Well, I'm sorry but that must be a mistake made by Auto Trader." Jane tells me. "Our price is what is listed on our website."
"So what would have happened if I never would have looked at your website and I would have drove all the way to your dealership to buy that vehicle?" I asked.
"We would honor our website price." She stated.
The reason I tell this story is because I would like everyone who reads this to understand that this looks like a classic Bait and Switch. The pricing stayed the same reduced amount on Auto Trader after I brought the mistake to their attention. Members of Sinclair's staff called Auto trader to adjust the price, or so they told me, but no changes were made to the price until the vehicle was sold. Also, I was informed that AutoTrader had the wrong price for quite a few of Mr. Sinclair's vehicles. The whole process seemed fishy.
After speaking with Jane twice she informed me the dealership would only honor the $34K price tag because it was Auto Traders fault the price was different. Regardless, of who put the wrong price on Auto trader, they are still representing Sinclair's. If a company hires a third party to do their advertising ultimately, the hiring company still has to take some responsibility and to make it "right" when a customer calls them out about it.
I made a few more calls to the dealership that afternoon; a few to Dave Sinclair himself. He informed me they would not move on the $34K price tag. I informed Mr. Sinclair about the Auto trader mishap and how false advertising is in fact illegal, but "accidents" do happen and since their key slogan is something to the effect of "we will do everything to make it right-even if its free" I didn't think there would be any issues. However, I was mistaken. Mr. Sinclair told me to wait for his call back and he would get me a "new number," suggesting a lower price than the $34K. So I waited... and waited... and waited some more, realizing I had only a few hours to make sure this deal was going to go through because the Dodge prices were done on 01/31/18.
Mr. Sinclair called me back at around 8pm to inform me the truck had sold. (not to my surprise) I guess the fact I had told him and other members of his team that I wanted to buy the vehicle and had pre-approved financing already, truly meant nothing. Mr. Sinclair did offer me another vehicle, "to meet his numbers he was willing to take off $1000.00." However, that vehicle was not what I was looking for so I declined.
The moral of the story is always check into a dealership before you spend your hard-earned money. Good thing I called before driving to see the vehicle!
The advertised price should be the correct sales price. I will be filing a claim with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission), an organization who clearly frowns upon false advertising, and the BBB.

I found this dealer on the internet and gave them a call expecting the same story about how great the car is and I better hurry. However, when I called I spoke with Tom Gillum and was amazed at the low sales pressure and his straight forward honesty. I drove over two hours to this dealership and found the car just as he described. All the personnel working there were very friendly and honest and NO GAMES with the general manager. I was so impressed that I wanted to get the word out that there are honest dealers still out there. You can take them for their word on the phone or in person. Their pricing is very reasonable and they are great to deal with. Never thought I would give a car dealer a good review, but I was impressed!
