Best dealership ever!!! - Sioux Cutright
I purchased a slightly used Mitsubishi Outlander Sport, from Shirley Slack and it was my best experience ever. From Sal my salesman to finance to service, everyone really went out of their way to make everything easy. As a woman I especially appreciated the respect given me.
Poor customer service from beginning - RONALD F MOODY
Purchased 2 vehicles from renn Kirby on same day in December. Noticed one vehicle had a crack in the windshield and pointed this out to the dealer(even though they supposedly had conducted a Maryland state inspection) and they agreed to fix. After leaving noticed a bottom brake light had a small chip(they would not fix). A month later had to get a twin turbo(was still under Audi warranty) replaced and the second vehicle rear brakes and a brake sensir replaced a it was faulty. After scheduling service my vehicle was dropped off at the dealership for repair I was told that it was ready in the afternoon on Tuesday. I leave work to pick up my vehicle to arrive to a note stating the entire dealership was closed due to weather. I did not receive a call informing me hey would close. I the look in my vehicle and see parts scattered indicating work was not complete. I then called back on Thursday to see if my car was ready to be told yes only to be called back five minutes later stating that it was just taken in the shower for repair he had made a mistake. I finally was able to get my car Thurs after dropping it off on a Monday. From start to this point (approx 4 months) it has not been a great experience and I'm not sure I could recommend anyone purchase from renn Kirby and I definitely would not trust them with my business again.
Both service and sales are the worst I've ever dealt with. - jimsrod
I can't say one positive thing about this place. I have bought and sold at least 20 cars and I don't mind wheeling and dealing. I was shopping for a new Mazda 6 and they would not budge on the sticker price and my car's trade in offer was a slap in the face. They wouldn't budge on the top or bottom end. Then they berated me by implying that I was stupid for thinking they should give me a better deal. I went to a competitor after I laughed in their face and the same brand new car cost me $5,000 less. The other dealer gave me $3,000 off the price of the Mazda 6 and gave me $2,000 more for my trade in. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STEP FOOT IN MALLOY !!!
I previously had a 2003 Mazda 6 and had to take it to Malloy on numerous occasions for service under warranty. I won't even go into how inept their service department is. The front brakes took 3 visits for them to repair and that occurred even after I told them the fix was to power bleed the brakes when I first took it in. When they finally did as I suggested ... BOOM ... it was finally fixed. They'd call me at other times to say a repair was completed. I'd check before I left the dealership and "NO" the repair had still not been done. I would actually bypass the service reps and go straight into the service manager yet I still had the same results. NO WAY WOULD I EVER RECOMMEND MALLOY !!! I can't see how this place is still in business.

I can't believe this place stays in business. With such lousy service and attitude it is no surprise that they relocated to College Park so they can avoide their bad Darcars Silver Spring reputation. If they had done their maintenece job correctly the first time, I wouldn't have had to put in so much money later to fix problems they had caused. My car broke down on the highway shortly after their service because they didn't properly put things back together. When I complained to them, they had the nerve to try to get me in their shop and charge me for more service. I will never use them and I strongly urge everybody to avoid them like you'd avoid a sick bird in your back yard.
Professionalism at its finest! - CBradley1151
My wife and I were in search of a mid sized SUV and heard some good things about the Mitsubishi Outlander. We were a little skeptical because we had never owned a Mitsubishi. After spending only 40 minutes with our salesperson Bobby Linthicum he was able to show us great value in the Outlander without pressuring us and we were extremely impressed with his knowledge and the overall friendliness of the staff. It has been a bit over a month and we are loving our new car! Bobby has even contacted us a few times after our purchase to make sure we were satisfied. I would certainly recommend this dealership and product to anyone looking for a good car buying experience.
This is a relatively "new" Mitsubishi... - alfarooq1393
This is a relatively "new" Mitsubishi dealership in the Silver Spring autopark. Actually, they have been around for a very long time as a Lincoln-Mercury dealer, but recently switched to Mitsubishi. I think this works in their favor, as they are very used to treating everyone like VIPs, since Lincoln back in the day was really your "upscale" type of car (and thus had very upscale clientele). Whatever the reason, this dealership has a great staff that is very friendly and attentive. Above all, what I really like was the lack of pressure. I mean, there was literally almost NONE. They simply did their best to show me what I wanted, and worked hard to make it a reality. I wanted the best financing rate (0% at the time), and they got it for me. I wanted it on a certain car (EVO or Ralliart) and they showed me several options. They never pressured me to look at or take anything I wasn't interested in. I have had that happen at SO many dealerships. I also needed to trade in my current car, and even wanted some cash back in the deal. They worked that all out no problem. Even the time with the finance guy to sign the contract was a breeze (normally, that is the part I dread the most). I was expecting to be back there for 2 hours while they tried to sell me a million different extended warranties, rust protection, or whatever else was the gimmick of the week. NOPE! They simply showed me a few quick options (like gap insurance) and that was it. It took just minutes. I can't really say I was sitting there more than 15 minutes total. The whole experience was just fast and painless. And just to qualify myself, this is my 5th new car purchase since around 1999, so I go through this around every 4-5 years or so, so I know about the new car buying experience. This dealership (at least the sales dept) is great. I have not had any service done there yet, but if the sales staff is any indication, I won't mind giving them a try. I would recommend Safford to anyone looking for a car, and especially anyone looking for a Mitsu. I am now rolling in my 2011 Ralliart and loving it.

Ahh... where to start? Should it be why I never bought my car there (salesperson wanted me to put down a deposit to test-drive the vehicle)? Is it the 3 times I had to have my mass airflow sensor replaced? Or what about the time I had my car towed there, called them to ask if it was ready (and they said it was) only to get there at 5:00 pm and get told that they had actually never looked at it? Or what about the check engine light coming on after getting their service? Or the trunk light coming on after they did the 50k maintenance? And when telling them it was working when I dropped it off, getting accused of saying that they had sabotaged my car? The service has never been friendly toward me. I wouldn't recommend them for anything.
