If I could go below a 1 I would. I never write reviews, but I was furious about what happened at this place. We went in for a vehicle that was listed at 16,500 ish. When the sales manager came out he told us with the added fees of basically having a mechanic look at the vehicle and a xx 6 month warranty the price would jump to a little over 20,000. I’m contacting the BBB and I highly discourage anyone from making the trip to this place. I would like to say Aubrey was very kind and seemed to be genuine. I don’t know if he’s inexperienced or what the deal was with my situation, but it left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. More

Late in the evening time of day didn’t matter at all. Helped me find what I was looking for and made me a great deal on my trade in. “I made that review after the sale”. After the sale and at the point where I started trying to schedule getting upgrades installed, that I had paid for upfront, things really went to xxxx. I found out that service after the sale is sorely lacking at this dealership. At least it is from sales rep. Cody Blackwell. Also received poor service in my first visit to the service dept. for my first complimentary maintenance provided by Toyota for the first 2 years. If this is what you get for complimentary service, I would rather pay for it. More

I went in for the first of my 2 years of complimentary maintenance provided by Toyota. They had to take the wheels off to rotate the tires so I asked them to check the balance because of a vibration. I DI maintenance provided by Toyota. They had to take the wheels off to rotate the tires so I asked them to check the balance because of a vibration. I DID NOT ask them to do it for free. When they turned the vehicle back over to me I asked about the balance. I was told by the service advisor that the service tech had refused to check balance and said it was probably my tires, that are BRAND NEW from the factory. They did rotate the tires but didn’t bother to adjust the air pressure. Toyota specs specify for more air pressure in the rear tires than in the front. After I got home and checked the pressure I found higher air pressure in the front tires than the rear. This is just not good customer service. I also want it known that I have seen a poor level of service from this dealership that started right after I signed the paperwork. I paid upfront for a leather seat upgrade and a bed cover that I had multiple problems getting scheduled through my sales rep. Cody Blackwell. It took about a month after the sale to get my upgrades installed. Cody Blackwell wasted my time not once, but TWO TIMES he scheduled me to bring the truck in for the leather installation BEFORE the leather had even been ordered by the installer. Cody Blackwell assured me that the installation of the leather AND the bed cover could be done in 1 DAY even after I questioned it with skepticism. I later found out that the leather installer usually needs the vehicle for 2 1/2 days minimum. Cody Blackwell gave me the impression that he just didn’t want to be bothered after he made the sale. I’m sure to buy another Toyota in a few years, but it won’t be from Shottenkirk Weatherford. I’ll shop in Ft. Worth or Dallas for my next one. I’ve had several Fords before this Toyota. I purchased all of them from Southwest Ford, across the street from Shottenkirk Toyota. If I was this Shottenkirk fella I would do whatever I could to copy how Southwest Ford serves their customers before AND AFTER the sale, but he better hitch up his belt because he has A LONG LONG WAY to go. More
