Our technicians and Service Manager went above and beyond to program the keys you provided. However, despite our best efforts, the key fobs could not be successfully programmed, even after testing and reprogramming attempts. We understand that this can be frustrating, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. It's important to note that the key fobs you brought in were not purchased from our dealership or from Ford. When parts are sourced externally, we have limited control over their compatibility with your vehicle's system. Had the key fobs been purchased through us or a Ford authorized dealer, we would have been able to provide further assistance and support, as we stand behind the quality and compatibility of the parts we supply. In an effort to help you, we did not charge you for retrieving and programming your door code, which you requested. We understand the importance of this service for your convenience, and we were pleased to assist you with it at no additional cost. While we strive to provide comprehensive assistance to all our customers, we must acknowledge that when non-standard or third-party parts are involved, it can be challenging to ensure their compatibility. In this case, we advised you to seek assistance from the source where you obtained the key fobs, as they may have insights or solutions specific to the products they provided.
