Look, let us be honest. Shopping for a new car can be exhausting. The back and forth with the dealership and not to include credit checks, picking the car, and the test driv Shopping for a new car can be exhausting. The back and forth with the dealership and not to include credit checks, picking the car, and the test drive. I drove all over San Diego and to different Chevy dealerships and it was the same story. Then I walked into Courtesy Chevrolet and met Chad. His no-hassle approach was refreshing and let me look at the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer and I not only liked the car his customer service was better. The next day, I worked with Daniel Hernandez. His friendly attitude and easy customer service was great. They both helped me pick the car I wanted to pick and not the one the dealership was trying to sell. They even got me a military debate and thanked me for my military service. I know from this day forward that I am going to buy all my Chevy cars from Courtesy Chevrolet because the sales people, especially Chad, Jackey, and Daniel, are courteous and the best sales people I dealt with in 20 years shopping with Chevy. The sales manager Sergio was a complete jerk I put a $500 deposit down on a truck to order it exactly as I wanted, and then painted patiently for 12 weeks for it to arrive. Chad, the salesman called $500 deposit down on a truck to order it exactly as I wanted, and then painted patiently for 12 weeks for it to arrive. Chad, the salesman called me at around 2:30 PM on Saturday June 25th to tell me my truck was being unloaded right then and asked when I would like to come in. I told him Monday around lunchtime would be great for me and he he agreed that would be fine. Shortly after 3 PM on saturday the 25, Sergio called and demanded I come in to have the truck under contract before the end of the day Sunday. He didn't ask, he demanded. And suggested he might sell the truck to someone else if I didn't come in. I didn't have a problem coming in, but it would be nice to be asked, not told. And I didn't like him threatening to sell the truck to someone else if I didn't come in essentially withing 24 hours on a weekend, on a truck I paid a $500 deposit on and patiently waited for. I came in on Sunday afternoon and bought the truck. About 10 minutes later, I got a call from salesman Chad, and he asked me to come back because the finance guy made a mistake. I asked what it was, but he said he didn't know, and I returned to the dealership. At that point I met Sergio in person for the first time. He essentially told me how they messed up and they accidentally sold me the truck for less than they intended to, and that they wanted to redo the paperwork ( I already had an executed contract and took possession of the truck at this point). Since this was my first time meeting him, I told him how he really pissed me off the day before DEMANDING that I come in, etc. He did not apologize, but explained to me WHY he demanded that I come in within 24 hours. I told him " no, that's BS. I waited patiently for 12 weeks, and I didn't mind coming in. But would like to be asked, not told to come in, and I didn't like the subtle threat to sell the truck to someone else if I didn't rush to the dealership, and that's not how professional people act" Sergio AGAIN reiterated WHY he demanded I come in. All the dude had to do was to not be a jerk, and I might have worked something out with him. But he couldn't help it. He treats his customers like garbage. One day the car sales world will be more competitive again, and you guys won't be able to treat customers this way. The crazy thing is you have to sign a piece of paper that says once you sign and drive, the vehicle is yours, with no cooling off period. Yet they tried to get me to come back afterward, as if there is a cooling of period for the dealer. I won't be returning to Courtesy Chevrolet. Chad was great. Sergio stinks More

We had an appointment and was greeted by Solon Woodard to see who could assist us and luckily it was Solon himself. He immediately connected with my family and I, which really takes the edge off a fairly maj see who could assist us and luckily it was Solon himself. He immediately connected with my family and I, which really takes the edge off a fairly major purchase. Making us feel comfortable in the deal is number one from a buyer's standpoint, and I would have bought a 2-legged horse from Solon by the end of the process. I usually haggle for hours, just short of waterboarding, and end up feeling like I still came up on the short end of the process when I'd like both parties to feel like they had to lose a bit. We came in just to look at the truck, I spent a bit of time pondering the purchase, did a quick test drive, and after 3 hours from arriving I was driving off the lot in my new Z71. Usually during the in-house paperwork process in the many prior purchases, we sit there alone and very uncomfortable due to not knowing if they know we still exist, but not in this case nor any others looking for a purchase there either it appeared! He dealt with us and only us while we were there, ran paper when he needed to, then would sit and have great conversations. Even other dealers/managers would come up to say "Hi" to the family or a passing compliment on a baseball jersey I happened to be wearing (Thanks Ernie!). Even Chad joked with me outside with one of my random stupid questions while walking back inside. I have met with or contacted other local dealers' sales personnel within the month prior and none of them bothered to even call me back but Courtesy and one other, with the later eventually going cold as well. The entire staff made this a great experience and Solon was simply the best person I could have met with to bring it all together. I have already recommended, under very high praise, to do any future purchases at Courtesy to all others. More
