I bought a 84 El Camino over the internet, car unseen. A purchase like that is full of unknowns, but Rocky made the transaction smooth and explained everything, both good and bad, about the car over the A purchase like that is full of unknowns, but Rocky made the transaction smooth and explained everything, both good and bad, about the car over the phone and via text or email. When the car arrived on the transport, it was just as he had described. We love it and wouldn't of minded the few minor flaws in the paint, but Rocky had already informed us about them. In otherwords, he didnt try to hide anything, he was 100% open and honest about the vehicle. The Dealership also did a good job with the paperwork and title which arrived before the car with detailed instructions on how to tag the vehicle in our state. I give em a 10/10 but this only goes to 5 stars, so 5/5!! More

I worked with Rocky, who was friendly, knowledgeable, low key, and took time with me, even tho I could see he was busy. He was a great communicator, liked his job, and acknowledged other customers that enter key, and took time with me, even tho I could see he was busy. He was a great communicator, liked his job, and acknowledged other customers that entered the business. He negotiated on my behalf, and shared some of the cool vehicles he has/does own- the showroom was clean and organized- great experience! More

When writing these reviews, I feel it's best to be honest about everything. Business live or die by the aggregate but so do customers. Steve West was a good salesman. He was polite, informative and willing t about everything. Business live or die by the aggregate but so do customers. Steve West was a good salesman. He was polite, informative and willing to communicate information when necessary. Truth be told, I'd give this review a 5 out of 5 were there not only a couple of items that I can't not mention. First, the good/great-Steve was easy to deal with from the beginning. I new I wanted the car from the get-go, and I pounced on it, so I can't fault him for Streetside for not haggling more on behalf of their other customer. The owner of the car, since this is consignment. They only have so much leverage. Very quickly this situation could have been worse, since my credit union's loan officer was out sick for a day, and could have communicated that better with both, myself and the staff at Streetside. The result was an information black-out from my bank, making Streetside a little anxious in their communication. I only knew what I knew. When my loan officer re-emerged, there was a time crunch, since I live across TX, and booked a flight in anticipation of taking delivery at the end of the week. In the time crunch to catch-up, the consignment nature of the business and my bank's need for specificity in their process resulted in more tension that I would have liked. At the end of the day, the paperwork was finalized, I hand carried the check myself and the car was delivered promptly upon arrival. Steve was nice, patient and I'd say a great guy. *The not so great. I have to mention this because it matters. This is an as-is consignment dealer. Even though the car was inspected for titling, I purchased a car that I couldn't drive at night. In fairness, I was told the driver headlight was out, and that it needed a "bulb." The bulb in this car, was a whole fixture (pop-up headlight car), but I brought the light bulb fixture just the same to replace at the hotel. (I was driving this back home across Texas). Well, this wasn't just a bulb issue. The whole electrical harness (assembly) for that side of the car needed to be replaced. I didn't mind the as-is nature of the sale, but tell me what doesn't work, and don't make an assumption that it's only a bulb problem. Obviously, this affected how I got it home. I would still have purchased but to make a sale, I think this was a little on the lazy side. As a whole, albeit the stressful situation, I'd recommend the business itself. Staff was nice, and the inventory is great. Just be aware that whatever you're buying isn't going to have a definitive diagnosis from the business. They "hope" it's all good. They're not going to invest for time into looking into it for you. You'll have to just make a decision. I didn't get much off, but I'm glad I asked. More

Thought the overall communications was poor! Car was delivered filthy! Not Impressed! Boot was just thrown in the back seat. Spare tire was not hooked up to its holder. Car overall was poorly de Car was delivered filthy! Not Impressed! Boot was just thrown in the back seat. Spare tire was not hooked up to its holder. Car overall was poorly detailed. Whether it was the owner's responsibility or the Dealerships. The car was very dirty and there was no attention to detail. I didn't have a chance to negotiate for the things the car needs going forward.(Broken Car Radio Antenna, oil leak in engine compartment, car not starting in Park, chrome on passenger side window damaged.)Was never mentioned since I know you do a write up on all your vehicles. Since the Salesman continued to remind me, he had 4 other buyers? Nice Car, would have been a better experience if the communications would have been better. I have 4 classic cars, and this experience has made me think that Streetside Classics is not #1 in consignment of these timeless classics. As I ponder some day with being on the other side. I think the experience could have been better. More
